[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"] The manor was fucking ridiculously sized, it seriously went on forever and was a horribly confusing labyrinth of twisting hallways littered with deadly traps, fiendish mobs, and general ugly. Luckily the lower levels weren't impossible to deal with, and were a tolerable spot for new players wanting to grind up some exp. It was here that the Commando made his rounds, indulging himself in familiar tight quarters that let his combat experience reign supreme.
Kingrex sprinted around a corner skidding on his boots in an attempt to stop as he was face to face with an angry corpse stalking his way with lurching arms wanting to snag him. The zombie growled with a wide mouth of gunky looking teeth, hungry for flesh, though it wouldn't be getting a bite out of this guy. The solder swiftly dodged and reached to unsheathe the heavy metal machete on his back, slashing downward to give it a nasty gash of damage.
The counter attack wasn't enough to kill it however, and without a pause in his assault the commando lazily raised a shotgun clenched in his other hand to the zombie's chest and pulled the trigger. The powerful blast of pellets left it exploding into a mess of fizzling data; dead again. The weapon was raised to sit on the man's shoulder, a wide grin of sharp teeth, “Fuck'n easy!” He chimed to himself.
Sharp sapphires glanced down the hallway he'd happened upon, inspecting a door at it's end marked with a large and bloody skull painted on it's front. It sure as hell meant whatever was behind it wasn't going to be easy, and that shit was damn exciting!

In the panic that followed learning that they were stuck in a cliched death-game, deciding to tackle a bunch of zombies may not have seemed like the best idea. Getting literally killed by the walking dead was a chilling thought, but, thinking about things rationally, they were fairly easy targets for a class like hers. Slow moving and predictable, they made for good target practice, as long as she avoided getting surrounded. Thus far, she'd managed to largely avoid damage, but the zombies were a bit more lean in numbers than she was expecting. She wasn't exactly going to complain, but hearing gunfire followed by a voice confirmed that she wasn't alone out here. With the stakes as high as they were, it was probably better to work together, but she couldn't help but be a little cautious. What if they panicked, and attacked her? She didn't want to think about the ramifications of PKing just yet, and so tried to push that thought as far out of her mind as she could. Steeling herself, she picked up the pace, and it didn't take too long for the winding hallways to lead her to the source of the noise. After assessing the situation for a moment - seeing both the conspicuously evil-looking door that might as well have had a quest marker on it, and the gun-toting player, Wyrmtooth stepped into full view, raising her empty right hand in greeting. In her left was the oversized greatbow, as tall as its wielder, if not taller. The heavy armour might have been a little odd for an archer, but the quiver of arrows at her belt, and lack of another weapon clearly marked her as a primarily long-ranged class. "U-Um... hey," Not exactly the nonchalant and confident start she wanted, her nervousness plain on her face, voice, and in her body language. Her smile was thin and forced, but present. "Tackling the zombies too, eh? In that case, maybe we should team up before opening that door?" Her initial hesitance was giving way to haste, as if she wanted to say what she had practiced in her head before she forgot her lines. Her gaze darted around the room, both to break eye contact, and to look for sneaky zombies. "O-Only if you want to, of course." The other player, with their attire and firearms, looked to be from another game entirely. It was a little unnerving. ▲ kingrex ● too bad the voice acting here wouldn't be as glorious as House of the Dead 2 or Biohazard.

Blank may have been an amnesiac but he certainly wasn't unaware of the signs pointing towards danger. A door with a bloody skull painted on it was enough to make most people turn away but two adventurers approached which meant that it was only right that he did so in turn. He didn't like the idea of two people heading off to their deaths but marching alongside them didn't seem to be a good idea either. Oh well. The rumor of a mysterious manor crawling with secrets attracted him but he wasn't entirely thrilled about fighting whatever laid deep within it. One of his hands rested on the hilt of his sword while the other mused through his hair. "Do you guys need any help?"The words floating above their heads were strange but seeing as his own was "Blank", he had no reason to complain. Maybe their mothers were very creative people or at least had a good sense of humor. Blank mustered a little smile and waved as he approached the duo. Keep calm and try to be a little friendly, he reminded himself. No sense in actively trying to make enemies. Though he had to admit, the one closest to the door seemed very familiar. kingrex wyrmtooth

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]Rex had already been mid stalk towards the skull-door when the red head called out to him, and instinctively he'd turn around to point the still sizzling barrel of his shotgun right in the bitch's face without hesitation. A serious and solder like look on his face that screamed he was seconds away from pulling that trigger given she moved the wrong way.
As quickly as he'd tensed he'd release, slinging the shotgun back at his hip with the strap holstered around his body. “The fuck is wrong with you, sneaking up on someone like that in here?!” He griped in a growl, sharp teeth frowning in distaste to her proposal, “Listen here, ginger...I ain't babysitting you so you can leech up EXP.” He declared before taking a step forward and eyeing her over, “Just because you've got a pretty face and some tits don't mean I'm saving you if things get sour. You gunna hold your own?” Rex was probably more threatening than whatever was hiding behind that door...
She'd luckily get away from his tension when a white haired dude joined the show, the blonde shifting his attention to him and taking a step away to eye him with an equally disgusted expression, “...Oh another fuck'n snowflake? Seriously?” With a sigh he'd roll his eyes and grab his shotgun, turning his back on the two as he headed for the door.
“Listen, I don't give a shit if you two wanna jump in on this, but if you steal the show from me...I'll kill yeah both dead, got it?” He warned as he stopped at the door and turned around to give either of them another animalistic cold glare.

A life in the proverbial ivory tower doesn't really prepare one for dealing with abrasive, foul-mouthed, shotgun-toting types, and the fear and apprehension was written on Wyrmtooth's face. "S-Sorry..." The apology was instinctive. Some part of her wondered if the 'tough-guy' persona was an act, but she sure as hell wasn't going to put that theory to the test. She wasn't sure if the comment about the pretty face and her... breasts was meant to be a compliment, but she nodded readily enough when asked if she would pull her own weight. If that meant that this person wasn't going to be watching their back... well, being ignored by them was probably better than actively antagonizing them. All she had to do was not be a burden. She swallowed hard when he threatened to kill them, but managed to squeak out a response. "That's... not my intention..." If he wanted all the glory, he was wlecome to it. At this point, she'd be happy to make it out alive. Still, with him turning the back on the rest of the impromptu party, she finally noticed his name. Kingrex? Kingking? In another situation, she would have laughed, but instead just stared at it quizzically, before turning her attention to their third member. She was about to offer a friendly greeting, before another glare rendered her silent. Instead, she drew an oversized arrow and nocked it, and nodded to confirm that she was ready for the door to open. ▲

Yep, the familiarity was there and he could put a name to the annoying gravely voice. The smile that he wore regressed into a frown as he crossed his arms over his chest. Perhaps he should've warned their rather abrasive party "leader" that it was important for someone to draw the attention of their enemies but he wouldn't want someone to "steal the show". In between telling him and potentially saving them a bit of scrutiny, or being glared at as though he committed the worst act imaginable just by speaking — the former seemed desirable. Snowflake? He turned his attention to the only female in the group. Blank couldn't say that he didn't think she was beautiful but the comment made about her chest was unnecessary or at least was something that he didn't want to draw his attention towards. He spared her a little smile and extended his hand for her to take if she wanted. "I'm Blank, pleased to travel with you," he said. Against his better judgement, he then moved to addressed their "leader" with as much care as he would take to a feral beast. "I'm a defender, Kingrex. It may be better if I take the lead on this endeavor."Just because he wasn't going to watch their backs didn't mean that Blank would do the same to him. If anyone was going to die on this expedition, he didn't want their blood on his hands. At least he could take some comfort in that. kingrex wyrmtooth

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]Rex took a deep breath as he waited there in front of the door. This was the kind of shit that gave him flashbacks in the war. Cracking up a door only to find a fucking twelve year old girl with a chest full of explosives, and you're trying to head shot her before she pulls the det trigger. He doubted whatever was on the other side was that dramatic, but it was hard to expect otherwise from experience... That hard working concentration was ruined by blank when he decided to act like he knew best. A twitch on the blonde's forehead was followed by him snapping his head around to growl at the guy like the wolf he was, “Fuck I'm trying to focus here, and no! I've got this myself you righteous asshole. I can take hits, I'm not a pussy!” He fussed before sighing and turning back around... Without their approval, he'd bash the door in with a kick and rush inside only to be met with a wide and blank space of white....what was this crap?! His assault rifle was lowered with a hiss of distaste before he turned around to view the two, “...You've gotta be shitting me, it's a fake? Dead end? This place sucks!” Rex complained. Luckily their empty room was....you guessed it!A trap! The entire floor dropped out from beneath him..or them, given if the two fellow players were still in the hallway. It probably wouldn't save them from whatever this drop was sending them into, as the entire hallway would start to raise into a slant until it would damn well be impossible to stand on and send them sliding down into the dark abyss beneath. With a most usual slur of curse words and general nasty, Rex flailed down in a free fall until they met the end of this surprise drop. He'd land in something squishy and wet, not his finest moment to say the least. It was just a game...but he still felt the air being knocked out of his lungs well enough to forget that. Not to mention....you know...the threat of dying always lingering close. “Ohh...Fuck! I really...hate this place!” He muttered under a breath as he staggered to his feet in the dark and felt around his chest for his flashlight. He wasn't sure how many classes got some kind of default light source...but it sure as hell came in handy in situations like this. When he flicked it on he'd instantly flinch at what he'd fallen into. A mound of bloody and aged corpses littered with bugs and rot. “Ehhw! Jesus!” Rex hissed as he wiped his hands on his pants in attempt to get the blood off. Who the hell designed this level of the game?! A damn serial killer?! Instinctively he'd crouch down some and stumble about in search of the other two, given they'd made it, “Hey...Hey! You two still alive?” He asked in a hushed tone. He didn't seem so tough now, did he? She was prepared for all manner of horrors when the door opened. A horde of zombies, some Frankenstein amalgam of corpses, a lich or necromancer, but an empty room was not amongst them. After the confusion wore off, she lowered her guard long enough to be caught completely off guard when the floor revealed itself to be a trapdoor. The shriek it illicited was hardly dignified, and was cut off abruptly as she was deposited in the nasty sludge below. She managed to land mostly on her feet, falling briefly on her behind as she tried to take stock of her surroundings, a task made difficult by the low light. Thankfully, her survival instinct won out over her revulsion, and she managed to stand up, and prepare her bow once more for combat. It was better not to think about what she had just landed in, what was now on her armour, or the rising lump of nausea in her throat. "I'm fine." Her HP hadn't taken that much of a hit, and she didn't sense any negative status effects. They also weren't being eaten by zombies, which was a plus. A brief look around, assisted by the light from the man's flashlight, confirmed that there wasn't really a way back, at least not the way they came. She frowned, before turning her mind to other matters. "Well... trap or not, this is still a video game. Should be a way out, or a way to whatever the quest objective is." In times of crisis, it was better to remain objective and focused. At least, that was what Wyrmtooth was telling herself, though her uneven tone suggested that she was trying not to panic, talking to herself as much as anyone else. She blinked, then looked to Kingrex. "We... We should press forward." She was worried that she'd come across as nagging in his eyes, but she was hardly anxious to stay in this hellish abattoir, or whatever this place was meant to be. ▲

There was a first time for everything and being called a "righteous asshole" was a first for Blank. Or at least, a first that he could remember without drawing an actual blank. He merely shrugged once the door was opened but found himself just as confused as his teammates once the room was empty. His eyes widened slightly though it wasn't at Kingrex's language but the sound of something moving. The floor fell away and Blank hurried forward to grab Kingrex before he disappeared. Damn i—.
The shifting sound occurred again and he looked back to Wyrmtooth as the floor began to tilt forward causing them to slide into the hole as well. Blank gritted his teeth and as his feet made contact with something, he rolled forward only to land on his back. A sigh escaped him only to halt in his throat as a putrid smell of rotting meat entered. He coughed and covered his mouth as he tried to stand up, staggering as he gained his footing. It was hard to see and he couldn't make out anything with the dim lighting from the floor above. But he knew whatever he was standing on must've been atrocious from his teammates' fussing. A light was shined from somewhere down the corridor and it allowed him to see the bodies that they were standing on. The putrid smell and the red substance on his cloak, well, it seemed as if they were connected. Even if he wasn't exactly a fan of Kingrex's, it was good to know that he and Wyrmtooth were okay. Now the question was where they would go from here. "Which way, Kingrex?"Blank learned his lesson with offering help. If he wanted to be the leader, then he'd have to point the way. kingrex wyrmtooth

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]if Rex was relieved that both of his companions were still alive, he didn't show it. Ginger's suggestion got a twisted look of frustration from the man, “Press forward? What?...are yeah, a fucking princess trapped in time? Jesus....” The Commando scolded before reaching to ruffle the back of his long blonde hair in a fit of anxiety.
Then Snowflake just had to jump on the wagon too, asking him which way they should head. Obviously the guy was being a smart ass considering there was only one wide hallway filled with nasty sludge and corpses that seemed to stretch forward in the darkness. The Defender would get a snarling frown of anger, “Fuck, whatever...You two retards couldn't figure this out without me anyways.” He'd nudge his chin forward and shoo Blank forward to take the lead.
“Go on, take point...I'll bring up the rear, you stay in the middle ginger, damn well worthless without space if you're using a bow.” He suggested. As much of an asshole as Rex was...he did have a sense of tactical awareness about him. But that didn't make him a leader, not in the slightest. Given they all played along, he'd keep his space towards the back with his shotgun idly waiting within partially gloved hands...
The eerie echoes of drip and drops and other unpleasant sounds left your nerves on thin ice, this would have been hella fun if there wasn't an actual threat of being eaten alive by the undead. The commando caught something out of the corner of his eye, his light still focused forward so that Blank could see where he was going, “Hey—Stop!” He hissed out as he raised his weapon at a blurry blob that slithered upwards on the wall.
Sadly before he'd even get a chance to assess the situation, he was strung upwards in tendrils of black ooze. This was some seriously horrifying shit, man. The black blob was attached to the ceiling and was dragging Rex upwards in attempt to consume the man. The commando gritted his sharp teeth and flailed about in an attempt to escape, “Shit-shit-shit! Get this fucking thing off of me!” He pleaded, waving his shotgun upwards and blindly firing. The muzzle flash lit up the hallway like a strobe light, probably disorientating his allies....He wasn't helping.

As abrasive and intimidating as the guy was, he did have a point. Being a dedicated ranged class did mean that she would make a poor frontline fighter, though, if they were attacked in the rear, she'd make a poor rearguard as well. Still, the way her innocuous suggestion was aggressively shot down meant that she mutely assented, and took her place in the party formation. It didn't take long for them to be attacked, which, considering the ambiance, wasn't actually that surprising. Slime monsters - one would think that her time in other environments like this would have taught her to check the ceiling. Fighting down panic and the urge to run, Wyrmtooth raised her oversized bow, and decided to fire off a Scalebreaker. It would be extremely bad if her aim was off, and she wound up hitting Kingrex, which was a very real possibility considering the way he was thrashing about and firing a shotgun at random. But better to defeat the ooze as quickly as possible, before he was dragged off, severely wounded, or even killed. If something worse showed up during the cooldown... well, she'd deal with that when the time came. Wyrmtooth pulled the string back as far as it would go, the mostly-iron arrow wreathed in a dull gold light, signifying the use of an ability. "Just... hold... still..." It was muttered through gritted teeth, and she wasn't entirely sure if she was talking to the ooze, Kingrex, or her own trembling hands. Still, with the aim assist offered by her class, it didn't seem overly likely that she would miss at this range, even with everything else that was going wrong. The arrow was loosed with a sound akin to a ballistic crack, and Wyrmtooth was left hoping that an ooze had HP like everything else, and wasn't immune to physical damage, or anything like that. At least Scalebreaker would be effective if the ooze relied mostly on armour or similar effect. ▲ kingrex blank ● Look, Kingrex, if you didn't want to lead, you should shout less.

This was turning out to be one of the most stressful and loud ventures that Blank endured thus far. He rubbed the side of his head after all of the yelling ceased. If he was being completely honest, the song "Hot and Cold" would've sufficed in describing their reluctant "leader"'s capabilities. But then he was left to wonder what that song even was although a tune was now stuck in his head. If the situation was to turn from bad to worse, Kingrex resorted to berating them even more and then giving into the suggestion that Blank offered to him in the first place. Blank counted back from ten but found that he couldn't keep the aggression inside as he spoke to Wyrmtooth. At his "leader"'s behest he took point and began their trek down the corridor. Whatever managed to kill this many people was not something that he wanted to bump into. Blank glanced over his shoulder, wanting to reassure Wyrmtooth that it was alright. Her class wouldn't have been suitable for guarding the front or the back of the party but in a few moments, Blank found that even Kingrex wasn't suited for the task either. A few rounds from Kingrex's gun went off and Blank nearly jumped out of his skin as he turned around to address the issue. Like clockwork, a glowing white outline of his heart appeared over his clothing as he looked up where the light they used to navigate began shifting around erratically. Perhaps the deity that he prayed to thanked him like this or maybe it was another curse. Why do I always get stuck with the icky jobs?Wyrmtooth fired an arrow at the ooze trying to eat Kingrex, and if it was a monster, perhaps it's attention could be gained. Blank activated Invisible Air, a pheromone arose in the air though it may go unnoticed by his teammates. It took on a different scent depending on who smelled it, usually one that was more attractive than repulsive. If he could just get the ooze's attention focused on him, it would give Kingrex time to escape and time for them to dispatch whatever his ability would attract next. wyrmtooth kingrex note: invisible air is used! Invisible Air causes the user to secrete pheromones which attract an enemies' attention.

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]This couldn't of gotten any worse, right? Through all his flailing all he could catch was that freaking ginger aiming that giant bow of hers right at him...or maybe it was the blob? It was damn hard to tell when the ooze around his neck was sapping away vital breaths. Yeah...this game had gotten a little to real for him. “Hey! Don't you fuck'n miss! You hear me?!” He griped through his groans of struggle.
The release of her arrow sounded like someone had just cracked a dragon's egg with a sledge hammer. The powerful ranged attack missed Rex...barely, and took with it half of the black blob in an explosion of gooey goodness. It was enough to allow the commando to wiggle himself free and flop to his back on the ground, quickly skittering to all fours until he was back on his feet...
Meanwhile the oozing death machine had taken quite a liking to the Red head, considering she'd just blasted half it's grossness away with a single shot. So what was left of the Mass flopped from the ceiling and onto the ground, and stretched upwards forming a row of deadly spikes aimed to pierce the woman in a quick bunny hop. But that was before it got a whiff of whatever sexy scent their defender let out.
The blob instantly shifted it's attack towards snowflake, lunging towards the tank with a mess of sharp tendrils of black. Rex had finally gotten his bearing again, and watched as the oozing slop went after their meat. He'd reach to his belt and pull off a grenade, “Isolate the damn thing and I'll blow it up!” Yeah...that was going to be hard when they were ankle deep in stank in a narrow hallway....

Seeing that her attack had not skewered Kingrex, Wyrmtooth allowed herself a moment to breathe a sigh of relief, which made her ill-prepared to deal with an oncoming attack. Fortunately for her, Blank was willing to take the brunt of the slime's attack. Turns out having a tank around is helpful. Still, without a healer, it would be best to take out whatever enemies they encountered as swiftly as possible, so keeping the assault up seemed to be for the best. The time that Blank bought was used to re-position, both to get away from the ooze, and the grenade that seemed to be on its way. The narrow hallway limited her options, however, so, she was forced to retreat back to Kingrex's position, pressing herself to a wall to give them both room to aim and fire. Unfortunately for Wyrmtooth, and the party, the sheer power of her oversized bow was balanced by its weight and slowness, a fact not helped by the weight of her armour. As a result, she wasn't able to fire another arrow immediately, instead drawing another arrow from her quiver, and doing her best to line up her shot, and loose an arrow once there was an opening. Hopefully Kingrex's grenade wouldn't hurt Blank too badly, but, as long as she took her time and aimed properly, she was fairly confident that she wouldn't be the one providing friendly fire. Fairly confident. ▲ kingrex blank ● Maybe Kingrex just doesn't have an inside voice.

Blank prayed that the slime monster would look his way after it began a pursuit after Wyrmtooth. His prayers were answered but at the cost of him almost losing his lunch. He couldn't say that the slime monster had an appealing smell and whatever pheromones that it smelled from him must have been equally repulsive. Blank scowled as he took a few steps back to lure the beast away from his teammates. From the corner of his eye, he could see Wyrmtooth repositioning herself as Kingrex scrambled to his feet. What he wasn't expecting was his teammate's decision to throw a projectile weapon at him. On one hand, he could understand if he vexed Kingrex enough for him to want to kill but he wasn't wanting to die in a place like this. Especially with the way that the deteriorating corpses sounded underneath his feet. Blank heard Kingrex's orders and gave a quick glance at their surroundings. A dank and dimly lit hallway which was far too narrow to hide behind anything or quickly turn a corner. The best thing that he could do would be to blockade it somehow. Another step back reminded Blank of the bodies beneath them and his gaze flicked from the monster pursuing him to the hallway behind him. He drew his sword and sliced the limbs of the corpses beneath his feet as he went along, causing them to jut at odd angles and brush against each other. It would do little to create an obstacle but enough to allow him to gain a larger berth away from the monster. "Go ahead!"wyrmtooth kingrex
