[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]Dungeons & Floors [attr="class","bw-desc"] introduction locked behind a giant gate nestled in the town of origins, the dungeon of the endless is the main hub for all things instance in broken war online™. with rotating rooms and an endless space inside, the dungeon of the endless can spawn miniature worlds of its own from within. these smaller worlds normally follow the design of the selected floor with a thematically similar boss contained at the end. only after defeating the boss can the players leave the dungeon. like other games of the same genre, the higher the floor the higher the difficulty. unlocking new floors is accomplished by meeting certain conditions set by the current highest floor, usually by defeating a certain number of bosses.
HOW IT WORKS from a technical aspect, the dungeon of the endless allows a small group of players to take their chances at massive amounts of reward but also risk their characters and loot in the process. As you work through the normal required post count, your party will arrive on a dungeon boss determined by an average of your rolls. From there, you'll take on the Dungeon's very own game system. Losing on easy mode means you miss out on gear, losing on hard mode means you lose your life.
So to clear things up, you and your party members will need to clear eight posts each. On every eighth and final post, you all must roll once to determine the boss that's spawned in the floor. Once rolled, one of you will need to request a dungeon boss drop in the 'notify us' thread. After the boss is generated, follow the additional rules and game mode set by the boss. Once you're done defeating your target, claim the rewards in the 'notify us' thread.
If you lose the game on easy mode, you won't earn loot from the dungeon at all. If you lose the game on hard mode, your character will die. However, if you manage to win on easy mode you'll earn a piece of gear based on an average of your last roll. If you win on hard mode, you receive all of the loot that boss has to offer but at the risk of your own life.
GAME SYSTEM hit the opponent with a powerful attack. with a set number stated for the boss during its summon, players will do their best roll above it. if a player happens to reach a combined total that's underneath the target's number, this player will die and/or receive no loot. the boss itself always dies at the end of the thread.
REQUIREMENTS The very first post of the dungeon must always note if the party is playing with hard mode on or off. This cannot be edited while you get further along in the dungeon. Anyone caught editing this will be treated as a cheater and will lose any rewards and more.
Make sure you always meet the original eight post requirement before requesting a boss. All participants of the dungeon thread must reach eight posts each. On top of that, don't forget to roll on the last of your eight posts. This is a condition that all party members must do in their last post.
Don't forget to request your boss in the 'notify us' thread. This means you don't post after your eight. Wait until a staff member drops the boss for you before continuing.
When the boss is dropped, it's your job to follow the new rules placed on you and keep up with the game-like system. This means you must roll by using [*roll] without the asterisk.
Be sure to post in the 'notify us' once the thread is finished and everyone has posted and rolled. Members who are playing outside of hard mode will receive a single reward based on the average of all the last rolls made in the thread.
You must always complete the floor in order. This means if you wish to participate in a floor two run, you must at least complete a single run on floor one. Whether you played with hard mode or not is irrelevant to continuing forward.
