[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]guilds [attr="class","bw-desc"]Guilds in Broken War Online are just like guilds in another MMORPG. They exist purely as some sort of social atmosphere that helps with raiding, questing and dungeon-crawling. They aren't without their rewards, however. While following a certain kind of guild point system, guilds can receive special bonuses every month if they reach a certain quota. If you're trying to just join a guild, get in contact with the leader and after they agree, post within the 'notify us' thread letting us know. Starting up your own guild is relatively easy, but there are a few requirements you must follow.
Be sure to use the appropriate guild template and post within the guild creation board. Members who wish to join will reply to that same thread with their own template.
Below you'll find the requirements for starting your own Guild:
▸ You need at least 3 different members to start with (including yourself).
▸ You need a designated active guild leader.
▸ A combined fee of ₡300 (the guild can decide who pays what).
▸ Guilds are required to meet activity checks with 3 or more members

[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]guild points [attr="class","bw-desc"]Guild points are points you earn by doing things with your guild. Simply posting with your guildmates in quests, dungeons or even raids can earn your guild points! Once a certain amount is reached, the entire guild may receive a special designated reward for the month. These rewards are usually guild-specific, and if so, are controlled and edited by guild leaders. These rewards also change every month, so there's different opportunities for loot.
guild points cannot be earned from threads which started earlier than the 7 days placed before the release of a new guild reward. this means if a guildmate's thread started more than a week before the new reward drops, you cannot claim points on it. this is to prevent major rollover when a new reward is released.
Below you'll find ways to earn points for your guild:
▸ 1 point for a single guildmate completing a normal thread (7 posts).
▸ 1 point for completing a normal duel.
▸ 2 points for each guildmate finishing a normal thread together (7 posts).
▸ 2 points for a single guildmate completing a quest, bounty or raid.
▸ 2 points for each guildmate completing a quest, bounty or raid together.
▸ 3 points for a single guildmate completing a dungeon.
▸ 3 points for each guildmate completing a dungeon together.
▸ 5 points for each guildmate completing a dungeon on hard mode.
▸ 10 extra points for a guildmate landing the final blow on a raid boss.
▸ 10 extra points for a guildmate rolling the highest roll in a raid.
▸ 10 points for completing a round of pvp for each guildmate (death or no death).
▸ 5 extra points for winning a round of pvp.

[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]guild leaders [attr="class","bw-desc"]Guild leaders are responsible for all things pertaining to the guild. This includes one of the most important responsibilities; counting points earned from all guild members and adding them to the 'notify us' thread. They have the high authority when it comes to Guilds, but they also come with the most responsibility. If you have a bad guild leader, it can really hinder your cause. If a guild leader dies, they may appoint another guild member to become leader..
Below you'll find the abilities Guild leaders have:
▸ add guild points earned by guild members to the 'notify us' thread.
▸ design loot given by point rewards and posts them within the guild's crafting station (in the crafting station board) for acceptance (everyone gets the same thing).
▸ accept new members by liking their post inside their guild creation thread.
▸ Must be active and vocal with guild members (to keep track of points).

[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]inactivity & leaving [attr="class","bw-desc"]Sometimes everyone can't be active, and sometimes everyone can't get along. This usually means you're leaving the guild. We totally get that, but we want to make sure no one is taking advantage of the system. If your entire guild has been inactive for more than two weeks, you can change your guild free of charge. Any previous guild-specific rewards earned with a guild will be revoked when changing over. When it comes to inactive Guild leaders, a new one may be appointed by a staff member.
