Lurking close to the coast of Sanctum Shores lies Syren, a monstrous mermaid who has the power to shapeshift in order to hide her true form. Like most mermaids of legend, she appears as a beautiful woman who has the ability to call out to players with her hypnotic voice, luring them close to the shore. Once the players are close enough, she takes them and drags them into the depths below where her true form is finally revealed. Once far enough away from the surface, she drowns the players before slowly eating away at their faces, adding a new face to her growing arsenal of appearances.
