Morrigan was actually having fun a bit of fun killing these spiders, he was getting decent loot too from the drops when he bothered to pick them up. It was pretty cool. Sucking the soul out of them, his lifesteal was strong enough to keep him alive when he was getting low and just leeching off the spiders. His kit so far was pretty nice, he hadn't used his stance attunement yet but he'd save that for later.
Feeling the hand of a young man grab him he turned his attention to the man who was frightened. He patted the man on the head, "I got you, stay close to me," he reassured the man as he stood close to the man fighting off the spiders until mommy spider came.
"Shit," That was Blightfang. He cringed a bit inside. But hey? You know the saying fight fire with fire? Yeah. Time to fight spider with spiders.

that was you. The plan was simple: get in, grab some loot, get out, be able to say he was there. What had not been included in the plan was getting there late enough to see the big ol' spider mother charging in herself. Himself? Eh, didn't matter, still nasty. Catharsis liked being greeted with a whole lot of negativity, but the tension in the air felt like a bit much even before daddy longlegs crashed the party. So much so that opening up the well felt like a bad idea to begin with. "Everyone needs to chill." He said to no one in particular. "I mean, who died?"He figured people were being overdramatic, wound up by the presence of the boss spider. In fact, he was actively ignoring any internal voice that told him otherwise. He sensed a cluster of fear, noticing Morrigan and rilet. Yeah, that'd be something he'd rather feed off of. A common phobia was far less likely to have baggage he'd have to carry. Kingsley surveyed the field, trying to figure out the best way to make his way there without getting singled out by any stragglers. Shouldn't be too hard. notes } catharsis is way late to the party and out of the loop, making his way towards two people who seem to be extremely uncomfortable with spiders for completely valid reasons MADE BY ★MEULK

"thank you," rilet gushed as morrigan killed the spiders for him. he appreciated morrigan's gentle pat on his head. it was soothing, a bit. but just a bit. it didn't trump the horror that was Spider Hell, the recently discovered 10th circle of hell, which they were all currently in and doomed to suffer in for all eternity.
but then the giant spider stepped forward and into the fray, and any sense of security morrigan had instilled in him went out the window. nope. this was the worst. he knew with a weird sort of clarity that, if he survived this, he'd definitely have nightmares about this giant spider and that poor deer for the rest of his life.
but - maybe he wouldn't survive. because in this game, dying was for real. he looked out at all the other players fighting for their lives and then back at morrigan. he could die but they could die, too. he bit his lip. he knew he was a defender. he really made a mistake picking that class, didn't he? he was better equipped to survive this when blightfang started attacking. he could do this. he had to.
"i'm a defender," he mumbled to morrigan, a little embarrassed at his earlier display. and then he thinks, fuck it - he's a defender. "i'm a defender!" he calls out, louder, to the other players around him. "i'll get his attention and you guys do your job!"
wow, shit, he sounded cool. he glanced one more time back at morrigan for some sort of reassurance he was doing the right thing - the fear was plain on his face - and then took a deep breath, readied his sword and used leap of the tempest. the ability teleported him right in front of blightfang - fuck fuck fuck it was huge - and he swung at it viciously with his sword. the skill's second power activated: it forced the target to attack rilet. well. time to die.
summary: thanked morrigan, yelled @ everyone that he'd tank the boss, got blightfang's attention. Morrigan catharsis

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]The King managed to blast another incoming spider with his shotgun, shell fluttering down to the ground beneath him. He'd tilt his head shortly after to view an upside down Wisty, “I don't need fuck'n rescuing! I planned this, you ass!” He lied, flailing about with a growl, “I've got this handled! Get outta here!” Rex fussed. The Commando flinched when he saw more spiders, but different spiders? What the hell did that even mean?! He snapped another look on Snowflake, “Are you fucking using SPIDERS against SPIDERS?! What the hell is wrong with you?!” The blonde complained harshly. Before any more hate filled grumbles could come from Rex he was cut loose and sent fumbling downwards. Sadly the solder wouldn't be able to catch himself on anything and was at the mercy of Wist, given the guy didn't want him splattered. Of course Rex instantly wished he'd died on the way down when Snowflake caught him like some kind of distraught bitch who'd fallen from their tower. His face exploded in a bright shade of red from embarrassment and anger, and his teeth clenched tightly in frustration as he narrowed his eyes at his savior. Being helpless in a man's arm was about as girly as girly could get in Rex's mind. He remembered his homophobic grandfather warning him not to share drinks with other men because it could, “Spread the gay.” and here he was in a dude's fucking arms liked they'd just gotten hitched. Oh buddy was Snowflake about to get one hell of an ear full. The man eating spiders were going to be the least of his worries in all but a few seconds. Rex flailed himself free from the man, reaching to cuff him by the front of his clothing, given he didn't swat him away. His mouth of sharp teeth widening to spill out some hate. But then came the ominous shadow of something above them, and down came one of Blightfang's sharp barbed limbs. The giant bastard was just moving around and it was hazardous as fuck! The man's sharp sapphires flicked upwards to catch it just in time to give Wisty a toss to the side, unless he'd already dodged, “Move you fuck'n idiot!” He hissed. Rex was much slower to dodge the attack, and he'd been delayed trying to help make sure Snowflake didn't get hit by it either. The sharp jab luckily didn't entirely impale the Commando, but it was probably just shy of it.... His entire side was instantly chunked away and replaced with a fuzzy static of mangled data, a clear indicator of a lot of damage being taken. He was sent rolling against the forest ground with a growl of pain, why the hell had those limiters have to be altered so heavily? That shit really hurt! After a few seconds to steady his resolve he'd crawl back to his feet, and look for wisteria, “We need to group up with others, let's go!” He muttered, nudging his chin and swatting the man away If he dared to act worried, “You lead, I'll follow, I need a second to catch my breath.” Rex's usual fire wasn't there....was he going to be alright? that was you. Catharsis wasn't even in range before the defender busted right into the boss spider. Guy had initiative, he could appreciate that. Before he could catch up, though, the damn thing got to him. Catharsis froze in his tracks, because damn that thing hit hard if it could take out a defender. A cold horror swept through him while he watched the man turn to pixels, and Catharsis decided this wasn't really the life for him. No amount of loot was worth dying for. He was out. Surviving was better than whatever this thing being dead had to offer. Backing away, his trailing vision caught sight of a man who seemed to, literally, be falling apart. Bad shape for someone to be in even if he wasn't in the mess they were in. Catharsis didn't bother to ask; he didn't need to know or assume he needed permission. The man dropped a well of tranquility to benefit the guy who was taking a breather and anyone else who happened to be in the vicinity as he headed out towards a retreat. He'd rather live. notes } ash didn't die for this, ez mode also: catharsis sees someone actually die after making that dumbass comment rilet, drops an over time heal on kingrex (up to chair if it's enough) and anyone else who wants to be in the aoe, and decides to head on back to anywhere-but-here's-ville MADE BY ★MEULK

| I press the button and[break]it bursts into life[break]This time nothing will escape my sight |
Oh, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. The other had tried to say that it was totally part of his plan that he had meant to be stuck in the tree. Oh yeah - right, like he was going to buy that load of garbage. Instead Wist just let him yell about it. Like hell he would actually leave him though he was stuck in the tree with a boss right around the corner though. As wonderfully as it had happened his spider had crawled up there and thankfully the other hadn't shot them.
"Well duh, they are the quickest ones to get through the web to chase your ass down." he said with a grin as the other fell (not so gracefully) into his open arms just like he planned. And oh, was it a wonderful feeling to see the look on his face as he was trapped there for a few moments. The red flush signaled that he had done exactly what he wanted to and messed with other enough for one day. Wist didn't really resist as he flailed out of his arms and kept that grin on his face regardless.
He put up his hands in mock defeat right when the other grabbed onto his coat expecting an angry earful when suddenly everything changed. Instead of an earful of the others anger a shout was given that told him to watch out just as the blonde succeeded in shoving him to the ground to the side and out of harms way. It happened in slow motion almost - as the other was almost impaled, close enough to it. Witeria's eyes widened but there was nothing he could do at this point except watch as part of his friend faded into digital matter and his health bar go dangerously low.
"R..." he couldn't even managed to get the words out of his mouth. The minute he could the white haired attacker rushed forward dodging any limbs from the huge spider and sliding to the ground where the other had fallen and shakily tried to get himself back up. "S-Shut up!" he said, but his heart wasn't in it.. in fact he could even feel the presence of what he thought were tears fall down his face. Was it even possible to cry in a game like this?
"Let me help you... please." he almost begged now. Wist didn't know what to do, the gaping hole in his side made his stomach turn even if it wasn't as bloody as it could have been in a more violent game. It still... it hurt so much and he didn't even know what to say or do other than to just let those tears fall and at this point even he couldn't stop them. "You're such a fucking idiot, you always tell me that you hate me or act like a dick then you go and do something so reckless. I'd never be able to forgive myself if you died..." he said weakly.
Regardless of whether he wanted him too or not Wist moved his arms around the other to help support him careful not to touch the data coming from him in case it would hurt him worse. What he didn't expect however was suddenly it seemed another player had used an ability that started to slowly heal some of Rex's wound, even if it wasn't perfect, it would keep his health bar from dropping to zero. Wist quickly looked up memorizing the look of the other in his mind to find him later, he would have to thank him.
"You aren't going to like it but tough shit - I'm carrying you and we are getting the hell out of here." he said and hoping the other couldn't put up much of a fight anyway he quickly moved his arm to scoop up the others legs once more as he whistled for his two summons to protect anything coming from behind as Wisteria started to head back to the clearing with Rex in his arms bound and determined to get the hell out of there. The monster wouldn't be taking someone important away from him, not this time.
[Summary]
Call of Summoning active - 4/5 turns (2/2 monsters summoned) Call of Beasts activates - while summoned monsters are on the field the beast tamer class gains an attack boost! Special Ability Buffer activates - while the skorpion monster is on the field the beast tamer class gains a defense boost!
Wist didn't see the monster, got pushed out of the way, might have let a few manly tears show before cath healed rex and he's getting them both the fuck out of there.

[attr="class",screamlyrics"]THIS COBWEB OF SICK BLOOD [attr="class","screamlyrics1"]OUR HONOR IS THE HOLY BLOOD | [attr="class","screambod"]Aleister was starting to think he bit off a bit more then he could chew by trying to take a portion of the swarm on by himself. Well at least he thought that until kohryu jumped in to help him with the spiders. "Holy shit, thanks.." He muttered out under his breath, flashing the girl who helped him a quick smile to be polite. The little bit of teamwork didn't last that long though as a sudden series of explosions went off and stole Aleister's attention away from the fight for the moment. The explosions of course being the tiny timmys that @redherring sent to take out the spiders @lilith were bringing to Draum to get some help in fighting. "Holy shit again, good job on that explosion...red?" Aleister blurted out after the explosions went off, trying to give the engineer a nickname already. For a moment he'd go back to attacking the swarm, only to be cut off mid swing by the sound and theatrics of the one and only Blightfang deciding to join the battle. As the giant spider threw the body of a dear into the swarm the blue haired man would hop back, watching as the spiders all scattered away and off into the trees. Panicking for a moment at the sight of the raid boss itself Aleister would point his spear up at it, spamming all three charges that he had in his spear to send a trio of Radial Burst attacks at the boss. Swearing under his breath he'd glance around at the area, catching a glance of what looked like someone bursting into pixels for a moment, yet again someone that he didn't notice before. He was starting to feel kinda shitty about it. Taking a deep breath he'd turn his head towards Draum and quickly yell out. "Hey Draum, you know how my class works right? I can hit something and get an element from it, well, you should let me hit you. It won't do much damage at all, hell you can punch me back if you want but whatever you'd give would work more then the nothing i have right now." summary: HARD MODE TIME/ thanked people for help, gave redherring a nickname oops, spammed radial burst at Blightfang, got an idea and asked draum if he can hit him [attr="class","screamnotes"]Draum / @redherring / @lilith /kohryu ||361||CREDIT |

[googlefont=Calibri] [attr="class","cry"] Rache had yet to build up the courage to leave the Town of Origins when players began to leave the town in mass- or rather a large amount of them. Several others remained behind, idling apprehensively as word of what had appeared in the forest spread throughout the players that remained behind. Rache could hear the anxiety in everyone's words. This game had already been too real for them, and now a boss had dropped within the first few days.
Well, that was to be expected. After all, games actively tried to kill their players. The only thing was that most games didnt actually kill their players in real life. This little fact had kept the brown haired ranger at bay from rushing out to join the others. She had to act smart. Rache wasn't too familiar with fantasy based games. Her usual choice were sci fi first person shooters. MMOs had different rules and a unique logic compared to them.
So, it took some time for Rache to go over her skills and head out.
There was no way she'd sit on her ass while others risked their lives.
So, off went the young teen. She slunk through bushes as the savage battle raged onward, pressing deep against the dirt to avoid the webbing above her head. As she sat in the bushes, the girl aimed her bow, occasionally shooting off an arrow before running for her life and hiding again. However, then the sounds of a yaoi-rific melodrama reached her ears. The girl peered through the bush to see a white haired Adonis carrying some scrappy military brat. She could ship it.
Rache hopped up from the bush, drawing her bow and arrow in one smooth motion she totally didnt know how to do IRL. As she did so, a golden honey would appear in a pixelated light over the tip of her bow. In on fluid motion, she shot off the arrows. While many of the spiders were clashing with the summons the white haired Adonis brought up, several more were rushing this way. The spiders seemed to be rushing towards whatever the big one hit- hoping to find prey.
However, when the arrow pierced into the head of one of the smaller spiders- something odd seemed to happen. The spiders all turned to face it mechanically. Then, they swarmed on it. Of course, one tiny spider against a horde of them wasn't going to be much of a distraction for long, so Rache waved down those retreating as she aimed another arrow to pick a new victim of spider popularity.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] As the redhead, @lilith , ran up to him with a pack of spiders following her he would give a look of confusion to her, saying under his breath, "Why didn't you fight them yourself." Shaking his head he would ready himself to go at them, fist flying. Until the Engineer, @redherring had sent her bomb bots flying at the group of spiders that had been approaching.
Turing his attention to the one that had just saved his heath, very well his life, he would nod his head to the woman, "Thanks for the backup." Sort of shruging off the advice, thinking it not being aimed towards him.
Turning to the Vampire Queen that had used him for a meat shield, he would suck his teeth, "Don't pull that shit again." and then head back into the action, going to try and whittle off more of the spiders.
As the phase shifted and a huge ass spider appeared into view, throwing a deer's corpse to the side, the Brawler would take a step back. He for fuckin sure wasn't going balls deep to fight a giant ass spider, that did that to a deer, with his bare hands. He was gutsy, be he wasn't running into a losing battle.
Completely ignoring the second person turning into pixels and turn his attention to Aleister, as he spoke. With a 'what the fuck?' expression he would stare at the blue haired man for a moment before looking back at the huge ass spider. "Okay, lets go, do it. At least I can do something." Patiently waiting for the man to hit him he would eye the big ass spider, hurrying the man.
Summary: HARD MODE/ Draum readies to fight the spiders Lilith leads to him only to get told, nah, by Redherring. Thanks Redherring and tells Lilith to watch herself. Says fuck fighting the spider and for Aleister to hit him.

young bull Nexon has no idea what's going in. Right now he's just watching webs and spiders kill other players. For a while it seemed kind of awkward standing in one place as all of this destruction was going down. The only thing he remembered was getting a notification of this crazy ass event going down in Faywood. A.c. event like this meant there was a 50% chance of death for him, a chance he's willingly to take. If he could survive spiders then he could survive the whole game, so he had to join in on the action. "Did someone call for an exterminator? When there's spider crawling in Faywood. Who you gonna call? The Binder!" A classic movie Nexon used to watch back then in the real world. Out of nowhere, some random ran off in the opposite direction of the spiders. What a coward. With a mindset like that, there's no way he's going to complete the game. The Binder began to make his way in the opposite direction of elise as he made his exit, heading for the spiders. The thing that bothered him the most was the loud screech that almost made him deaf. Was it possible to go deaf in a video game? It could be possible since their brains were hooked up to the game. Nex drew the attention of four smaller spiders, all blocking his path toward the mega boss that just fucked up a poor helpless dear. There were a threat to his life, which activated his skill. The tattoos would peel off his bodies into four black long chains. "Aye, go kill some other player." Without hesitation, the chains moved on their own. The Binder had no control other who the chains binded, as long as they were a threat to him. The chains binded the four spiders in his way, pressing down on their back. The player would rotate his entire body clockwise. The chains were attached to his bosy, also moving with him. It whipped the four spiders around in a circle before the chains had let go to send the spiders flying off in some random direction. The chains reverted back to tattoos. "Damn I'm good. I should write down that move after this event. Damn I'm good!" The teen gulped at the sight of the big ole spider destroying everything. That's pretty creepy. Nexon started to understand why that man took off. It wasn't about dying, it was about dying to a faint scary white spider. The worst way to go was being killed by one of the scariest monster in the game. Nexon would rather get stabbed from behind by some random monster, well at least he could say he tried. The Binder would take a few steps back to let the other players handle all the crazy stuff first to leave him with all the easy stuff, better yet nothing at all. "Well um, you guys go kick that big spider or something, then I'll do the finishing blow and go down as the player that did all the work. Sounds like a nice idea. Why am I saying this out loud?" Nexon shrugged, such a weird guy. summary: said the best one liner ever. waved elise off. Threw like fours spiders in the air somewhere away from him to let some other player deal with them. Talking straight nonsense now. hard mode activated[/div]

[attr="class",screamlyrics"]Then ghastly haunt thy native place, [attr="class","screamlyrics1"]And suck the blood of all thy race | [attr="class","screambod"]Apparently those people were mad at her, which she partially understood but was also partially pissed at them. As much as she wanted to cuss all of them out, she opted for speaking at a normal tone instead.
"Well, it's not my job to kill. I'm a defender, I'm supposed to defend. You're the attacker, you're supposed to attack. Asshole." She spoke just loud enough that the people closest to her would hear her. But nobody probably did because they were too busy staring at the boss. She was too.
It was... bigger than she imagined. When they said he was a white spider, Lilith had expected like a silver or a gray. But this was white. If you stared at it long enough, it was actually kind of cute.
She snapped into action, running in front of everyone to face Blightfang. It was her job to make sure that nobody else-
Died. There was another person dead. After a quick headcount it was pretty obvious that they had less than what they started with. Sad, yes. But it can't be helped.
Holding her katana in two hands, she braced herself for Blightfang to attack, yelling. "I'll keep aggro from the big guy! Any other defenders should come out and rotate with me every now and then!." Her old gaming experience was showing. This was classic stuff. Like Everquest classic. "Anybody with a heal, stick to attackers for now. Utilities without a heal, assist the defenders. Attackers? Do what you do best."
tl;dr She was ticked off at Draum and @redherring for a bit but was too occupied with the boss to care. She proposed a game plan to everybody, not like they were gonna follow her though.

LET'S GET GRINDIN'! Kelly was absolutely enthralled in the breeze that surrounded his sprawled limbs. Sky diving felt awesome, even if it wasn't very high. But he'd been up here for alot longer than anticipated. He was facing the ground, he could see things happening, and oh boy. Shit was not looking so hot. First off, fucking rude those spiders offing that one hot chick. That's just a huge party foul; the AI in this game was against him in more ways than one. It was fucking bullshit. As he began to drift down, he let it sink in. She was actually gone; there was no cathedral respawn like he'd read in the tutorial anymore. On a whim, on a simple desire to challenge one's self against some...petty fucking side quest. You threw it away. You knew the risk and stood to fight. Maybe she forgot. That didn't change the stupidity of this, of the players, or of their maleficient warden. And it pissed him off. Why were people so fucking stupid? But if he was standing upright at this moment, he could've clearly heard his kneepads knock together. So this...none of it. Kelly was having none of it. So he drifted back to the tree and let the wheels catch, rolling down at incredibly high speed. With a small shift of his weight, he aimed for the road and waved to all of them, weakly smiling at the fucking crazy man with the multitude of firearms "If you make it out, let's grab a bite!" They might be stupid, but it doesn't mean they had to go without hope. In only a few moments, he was a blip on the horizon. Fuck this noise. (peaced the fuck out while calling everyone stupid) [googlefont=Oswald]

young bull The Binder scratched the back of his head, thinking of an amazing plan. The only way He would leave the battlefield if too many people were dying, that's proof that he should dip and never to be seen again. All of his focus was on Blightfang. His hands would form a Telescope as he watched through it like it was actually real. His target was one of the legs of the giant white spider. It wasn't being dumb to fight it, nor brave. The reason why Nexon to take it on to see if he actually has a shot to making back to real life. If he dies here, that's just life telling him that he wasn't meant to make it up to the next floor with the others. "The first leg on the right side. I'll try to bind it and let some guy try to do the rest if the fighting."His train of thought was interrupted by @lilith. Damn, she was ruining his plan to convince everyone to attack all at once while he stayed in the background to land the finishing blow. "Guys don't listen to her! She's dumb, I bet she's in like eighth grade or sometbing. Just attack all at once, it can't kill all of us." Maybe It actually could kill all of them, it's possible for a creature of it's size to step on them like ants. The tattoos on his legs would slide off into the ground before transforming into the chains. It was one of His skill moves. "Chains of hell.." If only there was someone on his team to take the chance he was giving them. The chains would slowly move underground in an attempt to bind the first leg on the right side. This was what Nex had been waiting for his whole life since he was trapped in the game. Finally a chance to make it up higher in the world or die trying, dying was always an option. Nexon would rather die than never beat the game. If he's never going to see his family again, then he might as well die to chill with then in heaven. It would be weird If this video game had a heaven, and you somehow died in heaven. Once The chains were in range of the leg targeted, they would burst out if the ground in a desperate attempt to bind the leg. Nexon wasn't sure if his chains were long enough, it it was better than listening to some random person's plan. It's all about taking risk to beat the game, unfortunately for the Binder he was too much of a risk taker. "IF I DIE, TELL EVERY PLAYER IN THE GAME MY NAME WAS NEXON!" Unlike the other players that and died, he actually want to be remembered. summary: told lilith her plan was lame and for losers. Attempted to bind one of Blightfang legs. If I die someone can have my ripple like ceaser hard mode activatedkmaEX4Q8 [/div]
