“I'm an insect now, huh?” Gauntlet spoke casually as he pounded away from behind. Meaty sounds of pounding flesh drowned out bits of the crowd that was watching. Occasionally his knees would lose grip, and his body would slide quickly down the slop. His fists would quickly turn to claws keeping a hard-pressed attachment on the beast. And then he would go right back to it, punching away at soft spots on the monster's rear. “I can't tell if I'm making a difference!” The bruiser shouted over Dracon's own voice and towards his comrade down below. He was driving his point behind the issue of time. kingrex needed to find that weakspot, and find it fast. Gigantic scaly arms reached at the white-haired lad as he danced around on the bull. He was going to last as long as he could, but he was barely making a dent if a dent at all.

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]Rex stumbled back on his feet, reaching to rub the front of his head with a hiss of anger. This big bastard was really testing his patience! Gauntlet was still clinging to the ugly bastard's back, even after being slammed into the gate, which was impressive. The large creature was still flailing and swatting to get him off.
With a few breaths the Commando steadied himself. Perceptive sharp blue gaze watching every movement they made carefully. The drowning applause and cries from the audience quickly faded, and so did the sound of combat. There was just silence and his thoughts, and instinct guiding him. Then it came, the small shift of the dragon's head to a side to expose some kind of...soft looking membrane under it's jaw and on it's neck.
“There! On his fucking neck, behind his mouth!” The Commando roared out as he rushed forward to help, jumping to grab one of the ugly creature's arms as it raised to swat at the brawler, wrapping to it and trying to shift it's weight in the opposite direction. All it did however was merely distract Dracon, hopefully giving Gauntlet some room to work!

His fingers and knees slipped against the slithery beast again. “Dammit.” He spoke under his breath again. This was worse than a typical rodeo. The sweat made it all too difficult to adhere to the monster. His fingertips worked as perfect claws, but even then he barely managed to keep hold. Every time a major hold was made, he'd release a few more shots in. As many as he possibly could, but not many at all. Then came the roar from his comrade below. “Dammit!” This time he shouted, but with no distinct target. Either Dracon or kingrex. He quickly interrupted his blows for a different stance. With elbows and fingers bent, the hero acted as a spider against the muscled meat. His palms pulled on any greasy bump they could prey on. Once he was more towards the shoulders, gravity allowed it to be easier. He quickly forced his way to the jawline mounted his head around the shoulders. From here, he quickly spotted the membrane and issued another jab from his right hand.

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]Rex's face was turning fucking red as this point as he struggled to weigh down the monster's arm as he tried to swat at Gauntlet. All he had to do was buy some fucking time to keep this ugly scaled prick busy while the bruiser beat on his weak point. Though as soon as the brawler punched that soft little place behind his neck Dracon freaked the fuck out.
He flinched to a side, growling in pain. “No! Get the hell off of me!” The dragon man roared as he sat up on his knees and reached to grab Rex from his other arm, slamming him into the arena's floor like he was smashing a bug. The impact was a crushing boom, cracking the hard concrete of the pit, and leaving the soldier coughing and yelping in pain as he was devastated with immense force.
Then came a fist towards Gauntlet, trying to punch the puny human from his body. It probably wasn't the smartest move, but the brawler had thrown this big bastard into a bloody rage. If he wasn't going to finish him quick, there was a good chance he was going to turn the feisty fighter into a bloody bowl of human mashed potatoes.

The arm circled in almost immediately, but it not without a tale first. First the attack on the commando that ended with being smashed into the ring floor. Then it was Dracon going completely berserk, flailing around any which way that would throw the bruiser off. If it wasn't a rodeo before, it surely was now. It made the next attack obvious. It made it easy for Gauntlet to see what was next. Keeping hold the entire time was difficult, but being on top made the situation a tad easier than before. Holding onto bits of muscle mass was climbing a rock wall, everything just required some additional persistence. He used his right hand to keep a hold on his shoulder, never losing the position, if he would ever need to return. Unfortunately, his positioning would put him in the perfect spot to be swung at. Like some sort of ninja, the young man pressed off the monster's back with just his palms and feet. Timing allowed the fist to fly right through the spacing between the two. Once the area was clear, gravity pulled down on the fighter again, tossing him back onto the reptilian's back. His arms and legs shot outward again, in an attempt to find leverage. As he caught the proper footing, the brawler sprung into action just as before. Quickly, he crawled all over the beast like a goblin, until he reached his previous position near the shoulders. Again, he shot another punch into the soft spot behind the monster's jawline. This time, with everything he had.

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]It was a miracle Rex hadn't been smashed during all the flailing and rough movements from the bruiser and dragon man. He'd barely started to get his vision back when Gauntlet started to get the edge in the fight, and sure enough the brawler delivered one hell of a punch that left Dracon freezing like stone, and his reptilian eyes turning white as they rolled backwards in their sockets.
Slowly the towering mass of scales started to fall forward, and the Commando hissed in distaste as he flailed to his stomach and crawled away as not to be smashed under the giant as it fell. He'd barely make it free of it's head, rolling and turning around to view the KO in all it's glory. Gauntlet was no fucking joke when it came to hand-to-hand.
The crowd exploded into a mess of cheers and excitement, the announcer himself laughed and rambled out hype to keep the audience rolling in disbelief. The soldier stumbled himself to his feet, taking a deep breath before grinning towards the brawler, “Took you long enough.” Rex joked.
“Oh what an amazing win from our players! Not even the mighty Dracon was a match for their talents!” The announcer chimed as the opposite gate again opened and in rushed a much larger group of goblins than from before...Obviously they'd need the extra man power to get that scaly bastard out of the ring.
“I think our heroes have already earned their reward for the day, that was a fearsome win! ….Unless they're willing to ante up and take it all!” The announcer's statement was ominous already, “We usually split the reward money equally between our contestants! Buuuuut!” The opposite gate to Rex and Gauntlet would again slam shut once Dracon had been removed, trapping them inside.
Rex frowned heavily, pearly whites snarling as he didn't like where this was going. “They can steal the other's prize money in a final one-v-one match up!” The crowd again exploded into cheers and cries of exhilaration. “You have a minute to decide, players! First one to strike starts the match, and there's no backing out! So..will their friendship hold?!”
The Commando crept a few steps away from Gauntlet, giving the man a snarl of sharp teeth, like some kind of cornered animal. This was his home field, he'd be at a disadvantage not having weapons, and the only chance he'd have at a win was using his real life combat experience to lock this kid up.
“....Come on Gauntlet, don't do it. We're friends, yeah?” Rex warned, keeping a close watch on his movements. He'd barely spent any time with this fighter, so his choice in a matter like this was still hard to assume. As much as Rex wanted to think he'd walk away....He knew the other option was also just as likely given his rough nature....

Just as the final hit made it's toll his target, Gauntlet scrambled to retain his positioning. Dracon tipped over slowly, but instantly over the strike behind the jaw. Gauntlet held is spot on the ride the whole way through. Once the foe made impact with the floor, the bruiser bounced back at bit taking a bit of the force with him. Slithering through the reptilian's backside, the fighter was able to fasten a hold on the ground and raise to his feet. “It's done now.” The white-haired boy replied as he dusted off his pants. A job well done. Then chimed in the announcer, startling as ever. The young man quickly fired back into his fighting stance, readying himself for any future contenders. As the announcer continued on, the bruiser refused to falter, even after being reminded of his own successes. You could never be too careful. Then finally, the loud voice passed on the final message, the ultimatum. Would he take half or risk it all against the commando? Gauntlet refused to shift from his stature seconds after the message. “Don't worry.” The bruiser spoke calmly as his body released the built-up tension. A simple wave of his fingers was a sign of surrender. He was perfectly fine with taking half. “I'm not going to fight you.” Gauntlet reassured his friend again. The plan was to make more friends in this world, not enemies. There was no sense in making a rivalry with the highest level player he knew.

[attr="class","scare"]EAT SHIT AND DIE! [attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]The commando's defensive posture was quick to fade when Gauntlet reassured him he wasn't about to pick another fight after their victory over Dracon. He half expected the guy to still be bullshitting and pulling him into some kind of trap...If the clock hadn't ran out before anything unsettling happened.
The crowd was a mix of accepting cheers and upset boos, not like Rex gave a shit if he was still going to walk away from this a little richer. Both gates that were closed finally once again opened and allowed the two players to exit, “It seems our contestants are true friends, not tempting by the blind side of greed! What a touching moment for our blood thirsty floors! ….Now get them outta there so we can get back with the ass kicking!”
It was a final send off from the announcer, and when Rex met up with Gauntlet on their way out he'd reach to take the guy's hand in a manly shake, grinning ear to ear, “...I 'bout shit my pants back there, but don't you ever tell anyone, yeah?” Carlo joked under a breath before moving somewhere in the room outside the Arena, “...I knew you wouldn't have any problems here...But man that was pretty impressive.”
The soldier waved a hand forward, dancing through some menus as his eyes drifted away from the brawler for a moment, “You're still a punk ass kid though, so don't let it go to your head to much.” Any compliment given by the Commando was never going to last long. Without much of a warning he'd send the guy a guild invite, flicking his sharp blues back on him, “...Just think about it, alright? I know you're the lone wolf idiot type...But if you ever wisen up and change your mind...We'll be wait'n.”
With a lazy wave and fading grin he'd turn his back on the fighter, stalking himself outside of the fighting pit and mixing in with the bustling crowd to leave. Gauntlet wasn't the type that seemed to play well with others, but that was exactly the kind of misfits Rex wanted, because once they were broken they were usually better than the best...

The announcer came over the two and made everything seem much more touchy-feely than it really was. It was an awkward feeling that Gauntlet avoided in most cases, but he'd choose to ignore it the best of his capabilities. This was meant to be a success. The two would be walking out with a load of cash and Gauntlet would also have a new comrade under his belt. Someone he could add to his list of allies he could call on if he really needed it. Even more so, this person he could call on was level five, a title reserved only for the best in the new world they lived in. “You did good work as well, considering you were out of your element.” Gauntlet flavored his voice with a hint of sarcasm. He definitely let it go to his head, or at least in the conversation. Compliments meant he enjoyed his company. It further pushed his own goal along. Then came the invite to kingrex 's guild. Gauntlet quickly waved his hand to call upon the interface to check the alert. With his finger hovering over the message, his arm froze in place as the commando rattled on. This was a kind gesture, and Gauntlet's guilt would force him to repay it back in some fashion at some point. He dragged the menu back down and reserved the message for a later time, not declining but not accepting either. “I'll consider it.”/exit
