늑대 There was just him and the sand, well hopefully not. Towns had heard murmurings of a potential demon of the sand, at least big enough to threaten the lives of players. Sounded like a pest to take care of, and seeing as Towns had missed out on some of the bigger rewards of of the past raids. It sounded like a great opportunity for him, if he could even find it. He hadn't come alone either, as much skill Towns liked to think he had. For a potentially dangerous mission he recruited someone willing to risk the danger. They weren't able to meet face to face yet for the search, but they did establish the party so they would know where the others were. Giving up hope where he was, he decided to make his way to the rest of the party. "I haven't found anything yet, not even a rumble yet. You have any luck?" He private messaged to the two as he began to travel across the sands to them. With hope his companions had been tailing it at least. cosimia ZODIAC 1/8 MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

"What a star-studded cast we have here." Zodiac mused as he coolly scrolled through the party list.
The night blanketed the oppressive heat of Dionne with a cool touch. Above, the stars blinked smoothly as the grit that coursed around his feet crunched and churned. They had scheduled their assembly for the evening—partially because of the heat, partially because of her astralmancy, but maybe also because it was romantic. Who didn't find slaughtering an over-sized sand corndog grub sentimentally fulfilling? But, perhaps, Zodiac was confusing romance with a lust for the monetary. "Nothing on our end either." He messaged back. After, Zodiac eyed cosimia with a crafted look of teasing. "Right?"Still, he did not worry. The nighttime chimed beautifully with his starry counterpart's weapons, and his arrows, although basic in construction, seemed to flicker at the ends. Zodiac cast another message back to towns as he neared: "Maybe you should be the bait. Do a dance. A sexy sandworm sort of dance."Closing his eye, Zodiac shrugged before glancing at Cosimia in search for some semblance of backing. 1/8 a river in a dry land

the notification from towns alerted her that the sharpshooter had yet to find sight of their prey. cosimia and their last party member, ZODIAC , seemed to have the same luck: none. nothing. nada. zilch. the chain that hung around her waist glowed under the night sky, the perfect time for a battle. not only was the astralmancer at her strongest, but the dione was at its coolest with the sun down. now all they had to do was find the worm. a grunt was all the sagittarian received in reply to his comment. the anticipation of the forthcoming battle was making a wave of anxiety pass through the girl. she was ready to fight. cosimia's face broke out into a grin with zodiac's message. it wasn't that bad of a plan after all. the monster would most likely go after the solo player rather than the duo. "it wouldn't hurt to try," was the simple message she sent off to towns. 1/8

늑대 Truly it shouldn't have been too hard to find one stupid big worm. Towns began to ponder if perhaps they were too late and some other group had already slain it. That was one of his main protests for when the two with him suggested to do the bounty at night. Maybe the game would allow it to respawn after some time, he could only hope. Quickly getting a reply back from the two, Towns checked his messages in his peripheral vision. Quickly turning to a small frown at such a suggest. "Haha very funny..." He muttered to himself as he began cresting over the edge of a large sand dune that only separated the two parties now. Once atop the large sand dune, the duo below were easy to spot thanks to their glowing weaponry. While all they would see is a shadowy figure, his voice carried down to the two "There is no way, I will ever be doing that..." He let the sentence linger as he thought he felt something shift under him. Initially cast it off as nothing more then his own mind playing tricks on him. The light shifting of sand would do that, however it shifted once more. Expect it felt more forceful and almost behind him, the black haired boy glanced over his shoulder just to be sure. Maybe no more then a hundred feet behind him, a large slaw of sand was moving towards him. Originally it was rather slow, perhaps at walking speed. That shifted rapidly as it sped towards him "Oh shit!" Towns screamed as he booked it down the large sand dune towards the others. "Go! Go! Fuck! Go!" He shouted to the others as he now was in full on sprint to them. Moments later the beast itself would burst through the dune's peak, its grotesque maw opening as if it was attempted to snatch Towns where he once stood. The fight was on, but Towns was not prepared in the slightest. cosimia ZODIAC 2/8 corndogMADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

Ahead, Zodiac discerned a hazy figure of black summit the dune. He adjusted his eyepatch. Underneath his fingernails, the grit of the desert grinded and granulated, but the minute discomfort did little to blur his concentration.
"There's our little dancer boy."
Zodiac waved a little too happily at him. Enthralled by the idea of having the Sharpshooter court the worm with dance, the humour kept his spirits afloat, above his impatience. However, the hot enthusiasm was tempered with the solemn understanding that his suggestion was likely thrown to the dusty winds.
towns ' cry was like a marionette's string pulling his back straight and firm. The archer yanked the bow from shoulder and deftly notched an arrow. A twinkle illuminated the gaussianscape cosimia and he stood upon before Zodiac released its bright promise. Two more arrows followed, his arm rapidly working in graceful arches to form orion's belt in front of their fleeing party member.
Before Towns, an illuminated constellation like a fence would await his passage in order to bless him with a surge in speed.
"Straight ahead of you!" Zodiac said. "Use those legs!"
Zodiac turned to the light-haired astralmancer with a facetious cock of his head. "I'm but a lowly support, so my life's in your hands. No pressure, sweetie." He winked his only eye.

cosimia didn't react as quickly as ZODIAC had managed to. within only a few seconds of towns yelling out, the man had managed to fire out three quick arrows, giving the fleeing man a boost of speed. the woman wasn't about to let herself be shown up. sticking her arm up straight in the sky, she summoned starlight to the ground. while stellar flare typically stunned enemies, this worm wasn't just any ol' enemy. nonetheless, the astralmancer's ability slowed the monster, giving towns a bit more space along with his speed boost. running a few paces closer to towns, she let out a short chuckle at zodiac's words. "no promises." she winked back at the man before turning her gaze to the large worm, weapon out and ready to take down the overgrown bug. she dug the tips of her shoes in the sand, ready to jump when the opportunity presented itself. 2/8

늑대 The shifting sands of the dune didn't stop Towns from turning his head back to see the worm mere feet away. It's toothy maw was a sight that only propelled the sharpshooter faster till he passed through zodiac's arrows. "Appreciate it man!" Towns spoke as he felt a sudden rush that built upon his adrenaline. It was quite useful to get even more spacing between himself and the boss. Rapidly approaching at what felt like milliseconds, Towns felt his speed buff beginning to dissipate, turning his gun back to the giant beast. "So we got a plan of attack for this or what?" He asked before letting the first shot echo among the dunes. He let the cripple shot do its work, causing whatever speed, defense and attack of the creature to decrease. It was a start at least. cosimia ZODIAC 3/8 MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

cosimia invoked the stars. The night's speckled curtains peeled away and revealed a staircase of starlight. As if in flight from Esau, towns ran as Zodiac spied the celestial ladder. Ribbons of sand skipped in the winds whipped up by the chase. It was sort of beautiful. Well, if the worm was ignored.
"Tell that to Towns." Zodiac replied. He slowly advanced, shooting 'stars' at the beast.
The overgrown worm groaned slow with every obstacle. Passing orion's belt after Towns, the worm slowed again before being rattled by the sharpshooter's cripple shot. At least they could kite the creature well—provided that their cooldowns cycled appropriately.
"Aside from watching you run?" Zodiac purred. Then, he snapped his fingers, eye blinking bright. "The inside... How about firing into its mouth!?"
Voraciously, the worm buried itself back in the sand. Violent rumbles churned the desert grain, producing hellish voices as its huge body coursed below them. After a moment, it resurfaced, leaping up like a dolphin increasing its speed. Zodiac started running towards Towns. Lifting his bow, he knitted his brow.

ZODIAC began to fire arrows at the monster as towns approached them, he turned back once to fire a shot at the worm. slowed by each of the three players, the worm didn't seem to be very pleased. it tunneled under the sand, before popping out once more and barreling towards them at a faster pace than before. "sounds like a good plan...but how about hitting it head on?" she called out as she charged towards the monster, whip in her hand, ready to swing. as the astralmancer approached the worm, she clutched her rope tightly in one hand, while preparing a ball of starlight in the other. after the attack was charged, she flung the ball towards the worm's head. not having the best aim, she missed the head, instead hitting the side of the worm's body. it screamed out, more in anger than in pain, but the girl didn't stop her forward charge. now, gripping her chain in both hands, she leaped into the air, slashing towards the giant bug with her whip. 3/8

늑대 Towns let his form settle in place after taking a cripple shot. Taking another shot where Zodiac reccomended. Seeming not much more damage, the whole idea seemed arbitrary. Now matter where he aimed, as long as he got the hit it would still do the same damage? The worm however despite their attempts to decrease its speed, burrowed and allowed itself to gain its momentum back. "This is gonna be hard to kit. Best to keep moving!" He suggested as he began to shift left, distancing himself from both the worm and Zodiac. their best chance of slowing it down was wasteful. While he and Zodiac, the other attacker charged towards the worm fearlessly. Towns would do his best to at best agitate it so she could get a clean shot. His gunfire zipping past her head as she slashed. Glancing back towards their support, Towns motioned to get closer to him. "You got a good way to heal or something right? She'll need it going head to head with the thing." The two had not got too acquainted yet, but if he was just a full on attacker, surely he must have had healing. Making sure none of them went down in the process would be crucial to the fight. cosimia ZODIAC 4/8 MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

"If you're feeling suicidal, why not—"
Zodiac watched as cosimia spurted onwards like water being squeezed between one's palms. She conducted herself confidently. Yet, disbelief momentarily settled upon his face like sand, getting into every nook and cranny of his stupefied frown before being whisked away.
Readying his bow once more, Zodiac darted from position to position at towns' request. Finally, he caught up with the gunslinger. Sweat lay damp on his skin from all the running. His breaths fluttered in tremolo.
"What kind of support would I be if I didn't?" Zodiac winked—and without a bar of rest, he fired ophiuchus' grasp, creating an AoE of healing around Cosimia.
The boundary of stars glistened and illuminated; if the worm were to trespass the constellation, it would suffer continual damage.
"Nice shot." Zodiac said without so much as a glance. Arrows continued to sail through the air, carrying gifts of light. "I like a guy who knows his way around a gun."
In case the astralmancer would land into danger, Zodiac timed and shot several arrows underneath her. They formed volans' vault, and should she land on the constellation, she would find herself catapulted back into the air towards the beast.

cosimia heard towns ' bullets as they passed by her head, but she didn't react, even as they crashed into the worm and scarred his skin. when in range, she swung her whip, the chain crashing into the worm's fleshy side. it let out a deathly scream as she continued to rip into it with her weapon. from behind her she could hear the bullets and the arrows as they were fired in her direction. the worm must not have appreciated all of the attacks, especially not the astralmancer who was in his face. not expecting the worm to attack with its tail, cosimia was surprised when she was swept off of her feet. she landed hard against the ground on her back, head banging against the sand. luckily for her, ZODIAC was more than prepared, already having fired off his skill that allowed her to regain health. while she had been hurt, she could feel the pain wearing off nearly instantly. jumping back to her feet, she turned to the two men on her team. "are you guys just gonna sit back and relax?"4/8

늑대 Towns wouldn't let his gaze slip far from the sand worm as Zodiac retorted. Only enough to catch the light wink from him, causing a little redness to appear on the Sharpshooter's cheeks. It was nice to know that they had some sort of healing on their side, they all only had so much health. That was totally what he was think about as he took another quick shot at the worm. As light continues to illuminate among the sand, he watched the worm whack his fellow attacker with its tail. "That looks like it hurt..." The Sharpshooter muttered to himself. What really shook Towns for a loop was the next comment directed at him from Zodiac. Handle his way around a gun, he let out a half-heart'd laugh, scratching the back of his head as he turned to him. "Ah.. well you're pretty good with that b-bow... um.." Letting a meagerness come out of him that was hardly shown. He was just messing with Towns right? It wasn't like he had a problem with it, however hearing the Astralmancer shout in there direction, Towns returned to a cold sternness. "I don't know what you want me to do? I just shoot things dear!" He replied before leveling his rifle back to the sand worm. "Want to hang out later?" He silently suggested to Zodiac as he took another shot at the thing. While they weren't familiar, he certainly had Towns' attention. cosimia ZODIAC 5/8 MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

Worms could scream here. The fact was so absurd that it made sense. Of course, in Gargantua, worms could scream, dragons could devour hamlets, and the tiniest flinch could result in double death. Sometimes he counted his blessings as a utility player. People didn't shame you as much for being in the backlines—most people, that is.
As he prepared himself to compensate for his cautious nature, towns' modest reciprocation stopped him.
When cosimia recovered with acrobatic flair, Zodiac responded quick with a wave of his bow—: "But you're doing so well!"
He drew an arrow as Towns balanced his rifle.
"Hm?" Zodiac arched an eyebrow, suspicious of the sudden request. But he conceded. "If we're still alive."
As he raced towards Cosimia, a grin unearthed himself. The small kind. One that tickled the lips into laughing the slightest sound. Empowered by a quiet confidence, Zodiac darted into the area set by volan's vault.
As the light began to grow around him, he greeted Cosimia sweetly. "Missed me?"
Suddenly, Zodiac was catapulted into the air. A constellation in the shape of a fish surged from the sands and sent the Sagittarian towards the worm. He landed on its gritty body with his stomach. Pulling himself up, Zodiac carefully gained footing.
"I'll distract it!" Zodiac shouted as he began to tease its back with arrows. "Just kill it before it kills me! My only request."
After all, he had an invitation to answer.

cosimia understood the difference between melee and ranged fighters; after all, she'd picked an in your face weapon on purpose. she just didn't understand how the two men could just sit back chatting while she was here having all the fun. wasn't that boring? ZODIAC seemed to understand as he forward, using the constellation on the ground to catapult into the air and land atop the wiggling worm. the woman wondered if towns would follow up, or stay back and continue to shoot his bullets. cosimia just couldn't find the fun in that. "no promises," she repeated to the same words from earlier to the saggitarian, but she had no plans on letting any of them die here. once more, she threw her arm up into the air, calling down starlight from the sky. bathed in a bright light, the worm was slowed for a moment, and the woman took this opportunity to strike. holding the end of her whip in both hands, she swung aiming to tear the creatures face, spinning her body in a circle to get as much strength behind it as she could. 5/8
