늑대 cosimia had a point, while Towns did remain at a safe distance the bit of excitement in battle was only so much. It had its own costs, while he was relatively safe from afar, he had that urge to bath in pixelated blood. Maybe if there was some way to change his class or role... oh if only he could, they did need a sufficient more amount of defenders and utilities. He had what he had however, that wouldn't change after all of this. He let his meager embarrassment subside as he watched Zodiac catapult himself atop the worm. He felt jealous that all the sharpshooter could do was shoot the thing. Even still he wouldn't let his flirtatious friend or the heroic girl show him up. A loud clink of clunky weaponry could be heard among the sandworm's roar as well as it attackers. Hugging his rifle close to his chest, Towns aimed right where he was suggest. Unloading hot rounds of metal into it's maw "I think it's almost there! Keep going at it guys!" he cheered from a distance. cosimia's quip whipped his tongue-in-cheek response into the present. He chuckled, tickled by the citation. Cute. His words were deemed worthy enough of a Cosimian canonization. And as he drew breath, the worm slowed for the briefest pause.
At the worm's head, Zodiac continued to fire.
He spread his arms out to ensure his balance as the Astralmancer's whip orbited around her lithe body. The dramatic crack of her weapon announced the decline of the worm's health bar. Almost there. Almost there.
"Almost there!"
Zodiac lowered his bow. With an amused smirk, he waved at towns' through the darkness of the desert fight. Suddenly, the worm lurched and shrieked again. He stumbled forward, and his foot slipped on a slick patch of sand. Zodiac somersaulted forward as he plummeted before the creature's face.
Stupefied by the sudden shift in perspective, Zodiac watched as the creature opened its maw as hot bullets buried themselves into its fleshy throat.

the girl watched as the worm continued to take hit after hit. at the pace they were going, it wouldn't survive much longer. this had been a piece of cake. cosimia didn't even understand how this thing could even be considered a boss. it had nothing on the major bosses they'd fought in the past: the spider, the sand monster, the dragons... this measly little worm couldn't compare to any of those things. nonetheless, it was still a fun fight and better than any of the weak mobs that normally wandered around gargantua. the girl paid no mind to ZODIAC waving from where he stood on the worm down to towns . instead, she began forming another ball of stellular light in the palm of her hand. just as she threw the ball of light into the worm's mouth following the other attackers bullets, she watched as zodiac tumbled atop the worm, slipping on its slick skin. "are you alight?"6/8

늑대 Even in the darkness of the Dione desert, astral lights and muzzle flash brightened the scene so clearly. It was trigger pull, and loading continuously as Towns attempted to put in as much damage as possible into the maw of it. The cavernous rows of teeth snapping and pulsating as pain was surely getting to it now. While his eyes were focused through his scope, the sharpshooter could see the silhouette of ZODIAC from above. Only for a moment before the sandworm lurched and tossed him off of its back. "Are you okay?!" He shouted, inching a bit closer to the danger ahead of him. Every bit of damage counted here, he wanted to live to see the next day. He kept firing at the stupid worm at this point, his gaze drifting ever so slightly to check to make sure that ZODIAC was alright. cosimia ZODIAC 7/8 MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

The chorus of concern propped him up from the sands that he landed on. Spitting out a mouthful of grit, he dismissed their kindness with a frantic wave and watched cosimia's starlight batter the creature's drooling mouth.
"I'm fine! I'm fine!" Zodiac stuck his tongue out to rid it of the desert grain. "Nasty."
The worm reeled in pain. It was close to death. And so was he. As it flailed around, thwacking its head on the dunes, Zodiac retreated backwards. He quickly fired arrows around his person and after a brief interlude of light, Zodiac was launched back to safety.
Mid-air, Zodiac continued to whittle down the worm's health with his arrows, hungry for the absolute destruction of its health bar. He landed neatly beside towns. A puff of sand declared his arrival as he spit out the remaining pieces of sand.
"I'm back." Zodiac said. "I'm not leaving you again." He laughed before resuming his fire.

ZODIAC called out that he was fine, but cosimia felt guilty that she pressured the two into moving closer to the boss. if zodiac had died, the blood, or pixels, rather, would be on her lands. luckily the utility blasted himself off to safety landing next to towns. she could tell the beast was close to death as she kept whipping it with her chain. the woman grinned with each slash that landed on the worm. another battle that she lived through, another win on her belt. the girl felt indestructible with each damaging hit she landed on the monster. turning from the worm, the girl ran closer to her two companions, calling out to the other attacker. "finish it off, towns!" her smile turned bigger as she neared. "if you think that you can handle that," she joked, slowly to a stop a few feet away from them. the woman turned to look at the worm, waiting for one of the two to finish it off. 7/8

늑대 Thankfully the worm wasn't crafty enough to snatch Zodiac into its maw as he bucked him off. Instead it was a comical display as the archer ate a mouthful of sand, causing a low chuckle. "Glad to see you aren't dead. Who knows what would have happened if we lost you!" Towns spoke with sarcasm, returning the wink back to Zodiac from earlier before readjusting his aim back at the worm. It wouldn't be too long before they all gathered back around each other, the sand worm was looking really rough at this point. "We got this guys. Here we go." He shouted out, letting the next few rounds pelt the inside of the sand worms maw. Finally it dropped dead among the dunes in front of the three of them, a long sigh exiting from Towns as he relaxed. "That was pretty great guys. Good work!" Towns said before closing the gap between the three, offering to pull all three of them into a hug as rare smile crawled across his face. cosimia ZODIAC 8/8 vnv MADE BY MINNIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

Zodiac chuckled- and then stopped to spit a sneaky granule that remained underneath his tongue. He was awash in a preemptive security as the bar ticked away.
Each round fired, each whip cracked tore away at the worm's digital existence before it groaned its last breath. As it fell, Zodiac exhaled grandly. cosimia returned to their circle, having entrusted their black-haired friend to finish the job.
And he did.
"Took long enough. I need a shower after this. I can feel sand absolutely everywhere." Zodiac flapped his clothes about, casting sand everywhere.
Zodiac received towns' gesture for an embrace with hesitance at first. But his smile was enough to win him over; who knew the kid had such a nice smile? As he submitted himself to his embrace, he looked to Cosimia as well as his shoulders brushed with hers (should she choose to join).
Somehow, this felt natural. They were meant to be together, or something. Zodiac had no real explanation for the feeling that swelled from his gut. They barely knew each other after all.
Eventually, Zodiac pulled away. But the emptiness that followed made him needy. Desperate for that closeness.
And thankfully, he would die right by one of their sides.

towns fired off shot after shot, the bullets entering the mouth of worm and the beast finally falling. they'd done it! cosimia gave a little victory twirl as she watched the monster's body disappear into pixels. while the fight wasn't a hard one, it was still a long and tiring. though mostly healed by ZODIAC's constellation, the woman still felt the pain from swept off her feet by the worm's tail. she was sure that their utility was in even more pain from being knocked off the worm's body. the girl chuckled at the sagitarrian's joke as a wide smile stretched across the girl's face and she walked into the three man hug. it felt warm and safe in the embrace of the others. she was almost sad when they pulled back, the warmth slowly fading from her skin. the woman hoped that that wouldn't be the last hug she received before she died. she hoped for more victory hugs in future battles. "i had a good time! we'll have to do it again some time."8/8
