She let out a pained noise the moment her body collided with the sand, inhaling a quick breath once she stilled, only to cough out whatever air and sand she had taken in. There was a mental note hanging at the back of her head: be on time for raids. The alert had been up for some time yet, as always, Eliza had prioritized so many other things over this. Her actions had lead her to her current state -- exhausted and bruised, slammed into the ground beneath her after a hurried start to even get to the boss fight. In a moment of confusion Eliza hadn’t caught sight of whatever had hit her, knocking her backwards onto her side where she now laid, attempting to catch her breath once again.
There was a strange ease in her muscles as she stood back up ; a small reminder that, as real as this seemed, it was all just game in the end. Commotion. That’s all she could make out around her as she silently peered up towards the boss. Was she the only one who felt like this? Was she the only one who felt so… isolated.
Maybe, she thought, glancing down at her hands for a second. Maybe it was because of the constant drain on her health that made her feel like this. In her periphery she could make out the movement of players. She could see, but did not recognize at the moment, REIGN . In the other directions: too many strange faces for Eliza to try and focus on in her current state.
“Focus.”
She moved forward towards the boss, noticing others had taken charge towards the towering figure as well. At the base she hurried to grab her pistol from her hip, momentarily fumbling before finally managing to do as she had wanted. With it distracted by the numerous others, fumbling about and hitting it where they could, Eliza took the opportunity to do her part -- as little as it may be -- and shot, too many times to count, at the beast.
HARD MODE 1/3 POSTS SUMMARY: she was kinda really late to the party and just barely made it there -- only to get hit by something and regretting life's choices pretty fast. noticed a bunch of others going to the boss and attacking so she joined in and rushed over to shoot at it and, if anything, distract it some so others could do more damage.

While waiting for the buff, he'd notice Draum and gauntlet's little... clash. Honestly, fighting to be the alpha in this situation? Not the best time. But during this small break, he felt a bit of healing coming to him, which relieved the need to crack open the wildlife for their healing essences. There was a lot going on, but he managed a gesture of thanks to @persephone, a quick salute with two fingers, and a wink and smirk. Suddenly, his thoughts were wrenched away by rache, who pulled on his shirt so she could draw something on his face. Poof, there pops in the icon of a brand new buff. "Hitting harder so long as I don't stop? That's what I'm all about!" he'd exclaimed, punching the air to see if that was actually enough to reset the buff's timer. He would have counted on the boss' AoE to keep it up, the intervals were too long for it to reset it. Not really a problem since Feral Bloodlust was just about reaching it's bonus cap, and there were plenty of things to tear to shreds between the party and Setesh. He was about to go do just that when his attention was called to the oncoming barriers. Those look painful. towns called to kingrex to do something, but started shooting the barriers while the other one was figuring things out. Well, those two fighters had already shown off what they could do to the barriers, it was his time to shine. "Get behind me!" he cried out, dashing towards the segment that had Garrand's cactus golem pushing it back. Ater's movement and attack speeds had doubled since entering the fight, and it showed with how quickly he got to the barrier from where he was. He stopped a few inches from the receeding barrier and raised his claws. Lacking any active skills for dealing damage, he was stuck with his basic attacks, but boy was his speed impressive. His claws rapidly cut through the barrier, a feat made possible by the buff he recieved from rache. Imagine if she gave him that Cheetah buff as well. Now THAT would have been a rush. He let out a battle cry just because he was feeling it. It had no official effect on the game, but hopefully it had some psychological effects for his party. "RRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHGGGGGGGG!" And with the last few swipes of his claws, he'd carved out a hole big enough for the party to get through with some elbow room. "Come on! Before it closes up again!"
Words: 439 Notes: Hard mode on! Noticed Draum and gauntlet's little conflict. Thanked and winked at @persephone for the healing buff. Was given the Ape buff from rache. Carved out a hole in the barrier that's beeing pushed back by Garrand's golem. IMPORTANT: I've already rolled three times, and I just wanted to roll again just to see what could have been. Ignore this post's roll (Unless of course we get extra rolls for damages :3) V3elxy3E

gotta stay high all my life to forget i'm missing you
Chirp beamed the moment snowlight 's attack sunk the chains into the sand, seeing her shot easy peasy as her summons wailed on the boss. Well, one of them did anyway. The other had been literally crushed pretty quickly upon catching the boss's attention. What was it, c'est la vie? Whatever. Life moved on. Tossing the baseball up into the air, Chirp took aim and screamed out, "Fore!" Before smacking into it with the baseball and watching it fly. Wasn't that the wrong sport? If golf could even be called a sport. Was more like watching grass grow. None of this mattered to her as she shielded her eyes from the simulated sun to watch the ball gain more and more momentum, beginning to glow as it sped all the long way across the map of the battle, unhindered by the barrier or the chance of hitting the hands now as it hurtled towards the skeletal Boss. It hit with a sickening thud even she could hear, and she raised her arms and hollered out a victory whoop. Not that he was down yet, but it had been immensely satisfying. They definitely had this in the bag. 5R9svC7A198 ◆ @everyone ◆ HARDMODE// Chirp uses homerun with the clear given by snow.

He had missed the first raid boss somehow. There was no way he would allow himself to miss this one!
...or at least, that was what he thought. If he wasn't trying to take a nap a few moments earlier, he knew he could have arrived before things got hectic around the raid boss. He had already been hearing players shouting and a few casual exchanges here and there as he neared the congregation. They definitely have been busy for some time while he had just entered the scene. It would have made him feel guilty for joining only when most of the work was done, but the excitement of the game overwhelmed most of his thoughts.
With the flimsy beginner sword on his hand, he charged through obstacles and went straight towards the target. His enthusiasm with the event got him running with the barrier, before suddenly finding it opened from the other side. Definitely the work of that fox boy that he saw in the opening, he thought. Stepping inside the barrier without any second thoughts, he turned back for a moment and gave a quick wave to ater. "Thanks! Here." With the end of the wave came a speed buff for him, though he wasn't sure if it was even needed.
He rushed straight towards the boss after the parting gift. He was still healthy compared to most around him and he was tanky. He probably won't die in one hit either. With all the confidence in the world in him for once, he went in and charged. The grin was evident in his face after his first slash, though it didn't last. Looking at the health bar, he realized he probably wasn't contributing much to this and he probably would be more useful protecting someone else. He paused, before continuing his attacks. Oh well.

(Not a roll post, just wanted to continue writing!) Drakka's monstrous eyes rolled down to see that, at least, one person was following her up the boss. He...definitely was having a harder time with it, with his humanoid body and lack of claws on ever finger and toe...not that she was having it easy. One movement sent her skidding down the arm until she had the bright idea to bite the beast, using her Snake Bite while she was at it, here's to hoping status effects affect bosses! She rolled her head back to see her follower, and let out a light chattering and with a wave of her hand, she sent a message. Now of all times, she was sending a party invite! Whether or not he accepted, her cooldown period was over, she could feel it! She vanished again into the sheer shadow of the boss and sprang out once she reached the top. She scrambled desperately for a hold, the fall damage from here would certainly kill her without Shadow Sneak, and she doubted it'd take 30 seconds to fall. The boss did not make this an easy task, not with a sand spear forming from the already violent sandstorm and clipping her leg. Her HP steadily clicked down... Her claws shined, and she thrust down, attempting to "go for the eyes!" As bosses always were. Summary: Sent a party invite to ophiuchus, used Shadow Sneak to proceed the rest of the way up and is currently on its head, going for the eyes. Hard Mode enabled!

[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]ATTACK THREE- SANDY SHOWDOWN [attr="class","bw-desc"]With a loud thump sound the barrier would finish coming back and smack into Setesh himself, the sand from the barrier falling to the ground around the reaper. For a moment all would be calm, until the sand from the barrier rose back up, this time coating the reaper of the sand's body. Forming a sort of make shift armor around the boss, increasing his defensive capabilities for this last stretch of the fight.
Slamming its massive hands into the ground Setesh let out an unholy scream before flinging one of its now armored arms at the group of combatants. It seemed that the skeleton was going to fight personally for this last stretch of the fight. Well, personally aside from the sandstorm that continued to wreck havoc in the area.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Vibrations shifted their way through the sand as the beat builder made his way, step by step, to the location of the raid in progress. Sure he was a little late, but at least he had it in him to make his way there. And from the looks of it, it seemed then needed all the help they could get.
From what he could barely make out, it seemed that people were fighting an armored skeleton in a sandstorm.
Sighing, the beat builder would place the headphones on his head, spreading them apart them letting them find their way to his hears as he let them go. Taking out music player, the blue haired man would shift through a few songs, taking his sweet time.
It would take a second, but the man would finally find the perfect tunes to play as he made his grand entrance. Turning it on, he would tune into the beats as they started to fade in, turning his attention back to the fight, the man would make his way through the sandstorm calmly, and eventually meet with those fighting this beast head on.
Looking around the man would already have Healing Beat activated as soothing vibrations made their way through the sand and to everyone around. He would smile, saying in an uplifting tone, "Look at this team, we're gonna do great!"
Summary: HARD MODE/ Calmly came in and started healing everyone and told them they're gonna do great.

[googlefont=Calibri] [attr="class","cry"] ”Ack! Thanks!”
Rache called out to the person who made the hole in the sand that she was able to squeeze into to avoid being smushed. The girl glanced up to the armor that began to form around the large skeleton. Gulping, she reached up to wipe away the sigil on her forehead. Then, she began to make another one. As she did so, Rache called back to the party.
”I'm going to look for a weak point in his armor!”
With that, the color of Rache's clothes began to shift to the sandy colors of the armor before her skin was overtaken by it until the girl blended seemlessly into the sand. She gulped before leaping onto the chest of the skeletal beast as he flailed about attacking adventurers. Rache grit her teeth as she was basically buffeted with sand to the face, but she begun to climb up.
The girl skittered up the chest to the shoulder of the skeleton, shifting uneasily as it swayed in constant motion with the attacks. [googlefont=Open+Sans] i'm going to break down your walls, hijack your brain, run through your veins. he moment that his cooldowns refreshed the Chaos Mage would wave his hand again. Once again opening up a purplish portal near the boss, his Void Ripper companion jumping out of the portal not a moment after the boss had armored itself up for the final stretch of the battle. As graceful as ever the man's feline summon landed on all six feet among the rest of the up close fighters, only to have to leap right back up into the air as the skeleton figure sent an arm sweeping across the playing field. Still gracefully the Void Ripper landed atop the bosses arm as it was swung, before darting up the beasts arm at the quickest speed it could manage. Once getting near the end of the bosses' arm the Void Ripper leaped off, slapping the raid boss in the face with its tentacles before turning itself invisible as it fell back to the ground. Keeping an eye on his health bar Eon would start to make his way closer to the boss, his tome flying open for a third time as he began firing off blasts of energy in the form of his basic attack. The sandstorm was seeming to take a toll on his health bar at this point, after all it had been awhile of fighting without getting healed at all. Though he did get his critical hit ratio buffed by someone, but he wasn't exactly sure where the buff came from. As he approached the boss though the Chaos Mage was a bit shocked to see his health bar start to tick up. It seemed that he was getting some healing after all, not that he was complaining about not getting any earlier or anything. The healing was accompanied by the sound of a soothing musical beat. With a faint smile on his face Eon would turn to the blue haired man who was in charge of the healing beat, before uttering a quick word of thanks as he fired off energy at the boss. | ✉ | HARD MODE GO. Firing off the last Radial Burst as he joined the party Aleister would hop back from the reaper of the sands and over to Qilin, twirling his spear that once again was red around in his hand. "So, sorry bout shoving you into the sand or whatever happened..instincts took over or something." He said as the boss coated its body in the sand, making some makeshift armor to help increase its defensive capabilities. "Aww shit...well that, thats just kinda shitty of it. { } Late, Late, Late! Shit, she was so late! Rosalie, Sloth incarnate, was one who was going to be late to her own funeral. Though, after seeing the notification pop up on her status screen, it might just be the day she died. Sprinting as hard she she could, she arrived to see the army of players assaulting the giant sand beast almost mercilessly. Explosions, beasts, golems, everything was immersed in chaos. As she arrived, the beast covered itself in something she could only assume was armor, before releasing an enormous bellow and sweeping it's arm forward. It was the right tactic, easy to deal damage to most of them. She herself was panicking at the prospect of getting hit; though she was at the edge of everyone she was well within range. Narrowing her eyes, she barely saw the shape of rache climbing up the beast. It seemed like there were pretty capable people. There was even a newcomer, like herself, who had ran up and performed some sort of buff on what seemed like a mage. Given the stage, she definitely couldn't let anyone down. A green aura covering her hand, as a frag grenade formed, she activated her Longbow targeting screen. She didn't want to hit the girl, but aiming for the arm would just cause extra problems. Aiming for it's shoulder, she chucked it as it gained momentum before colliding with an explosion. She couldn't help the "BOOYAH!" that escaped her lips before sand took over. Summary: Showed up, watched rache climb up Setesh and Cesi use his technique, then threw a Longbow Grenade at Setesh's shoulder. Hard Mode. BJFJbTDm MADE BY VEL OF GS

Leg day is important. Leg day must never, never be skipped no matter what! Since leg day must never be skipped the mountain of muscle that was the man known as Atlas was late to fighting the raid boss. Late didn't even begin to cover it actually, he almost missed it entirely!
Kicking up sand behind him Atlas would come sprinting into the cursed ruins area, powering through the sandstorm as he charged the raid boss head on. Only to skid to a stop as he ran past what seemed like a person getting buried underneath the sand from some kind of attack that had happened. Unsure of what happened to cause it, but ultimately not caring too much, Atlas would reach down and grab rook by the arm before he disappeared all the way. With a bit of effort the muscular man would yank rook out of the sand holding the utility class person up with one arm while flexing with his other arm, sparkles popping off of his body. "Be more careful now! The sand can be a challenging opponent but with hard work, dedication and protein you can overcome this foe!"
Wiith that said Atlas would set the man down on his feet, patting him on the shoulder and then sprinting off towards the boss again. As he charged the man would wind back one of his arms while screaming out "INCOMIIIING!" Once he was close enough the mountain of a man would put his leg day training into use, leaping through the air and soaring like a majestic muscle towards the boss. Using his Way of the Strong skill to just punch the skeleton in the sternum as hard as he could. While the skill usually knocks over enemies it obviously wouldn't work on the boss, however it did apply the debuff that caused it to take extra damage. Turning back to face the other attackers Atlas would shoot them a thumbs up, sparkles popping off his body once again as he yelled out "I'll make sure you all stay safe, go get the pile of bones!"

쉽다 Unfortunately even with Towns pleading to kingrex , they were too slow and what little progress he was attempting to make on the encroaching barrier was not enough. With another glace at the commando, he let out a sigh and made a mental note of how worthless he was. Couldn't take orders, just like that other loser. He took notice of ater who was buffed as well by rache earlier. Thankfully he was able to put it to good use. Taking the already strained side of the barrier that Garrand 's golem was at, and knocking a hole in it. Since so far Towns had been relatively untouched, the sigil of the cheeth rache had given him before was still active. It was till now that he realized how fast he had become. In a swift blur, the sniper tucked his rifle close to his chest and rolled through the hole in the barrier made by ater just as it looked ready to slam in him. "We all okay?" He asked to the remaining forces that got out. The girl took to the idea of climbing Setesh, which was admirable. However she would have been of more use just buffing more of the group. He wouldn't have much time to argue as she got away from him before a word escaped his mouth. A small inhale from Towns followed as he scooped his black cap that fell off as he tried to focus back on tactics. His focus was taken for a moment as saw chirp with his eyes for the first time. Walking up next to her, Towns dusted off some of the sand on his person. "If you need something to aim for, it's right arm is weakened. We should be close at least." Before leveling his rifle once again at the previously mentioned arm of Setesh. A loud crack echoed throughout Dione once again. tldr: HARD MODE, got through the barrier thanks to ater , lame attempt at flirting with chirp while trying to seem helpful. busybodies liked to comment on the fact that he departed from the last raid early, giving up on the potential loot. 'cause, the opinions of nobodies had never stopped elise from dreamless nights, but he couldn't help but think it was some kind of karma at work for his presence to just coincidentally coincide with yet another raid.
he steeled himself. the ferocious sandstorm refused to let up, slowly eating at his health bar. if he was lucky, then rook'll be here - a familiar face sure would be soothing to sore eyes.
being significantly late to the party, he missed his opportunity to trespass into the barrier and help defeat the boss, so elise was reduced to watching cautiously from afar, not really wanting to take the lead to emerge -
before he knew it, the sand barrier came tumbling down, causing him to lose his footing. he fell but got back up as soon as he did so, surveying the nearby players with a quick, sweeping glance. a brawny looking player pulled out a white head, a little further from him. looked like rook - well, at least someone else was keeping him in check.
he unleashed his swords and positioned himself to charge right at the skeleton boss, activating his magic enhancement skill to boost his offensive attack.
hard mode on, what the hell am i doing 1/3 eli comes in late, dawdles for a bit, rushes in to do an attack i guess idk im unoriginal
