They are what most games consider as a standard support tank, a damage sponge offering high defenses and survivability for the whole party through their crowd control skills and minor healing spells despite lacking in the offensive department. They stand in the front lines as a brick wall and serves as a reserve cleric if the situation calls for it. Unlike other classes, paladins do not have much of a gimmick and are basically stuck under the identity of a tanky healer. Regardless, they are able to do what is expected to them, which is to soak damage meant for their more fragile allies. |
