 | STATION HP: 406Rex was pounced on by the strange robed assassin, similar needle like weapons being stabbed into his shoulder as he tumbled backwards into the ground with the bastard still clinging to him. They struggled and fought for a few minutes, and luckily the Commando had gotten out his portal to call in some support. Hush showed up shortly after through his dimensional rift, the heavily armed soldier firing off shots at the fiend who'd pinned his captain. The assassin dashed away at the incoming gunfire, leaping to hide again on a roof and wait for another chance to strike. Carlo growled as he sat himself up, grabbing onto Hush's hand as he reached it outwards to help him up. “Fuck'n sneaky prick!” He fussed before slinging his assault up and into a ready position. “Back to back Hush! Don't give 'em any room to flank!” Rex demanded. A pair of beady red optics tilted towards the Commando before they nodded, the Reaper scooted itself to watch it's master's backside, waiting for the next strike. “...I got some crazy fucker with spikes over here! Watch yourselves! We can't lose this station!” Carlo snapped over their party chat...They had those, right? the world begins again As Akeno rushed off to find their quarry, Naomi followed from behind. She had known that the most reckless woman of their group would charge in without thinking, and so was glad when a shotgun fire failed to hurt her. It was obvious that the attacker had no change against Akeno now. Naomi let her have her 'fun' while she glanced back at the station. Carlo's warning reached her hearing through the group chat, and she thought it the best to let her boyfriend know that they weren't dead yet. "Akeno and I are fighting on this side too." They were obviously smart enough to know that attacking from all directions was the smart move. Their group was forced to spread themselves out too thinly as a result. She could already spot several more of those dark, hooded figures appearing and attacking the train station. Naomi flew up into the air and went after them. "Akeno, there's more over here. Hurry up!" "Yes, thank you, Rex!" Raynauld shouted in response to his party messages lighting up, "I am WELL AWARE!" For all her bluster, Drakka wasn't really helping the oncoming tide, especially since a larger contingent of formless beings were rushing their side of the battle. The best he could do was hold the line, and even that was proving to be a futile endeavor. The sounds of booming... were those cannons? rung out and he was struck hard by a blast. Shoved back, Raynauld found himself now coated in some form of blackness. A type of sludge, perhaps? It didn't matter - it was disgusting and it was slowing him down. He nearly choked on some of the sludge that got caught in his mouth but forced himself past it, thrusting his spear forward to keep the enemy back, but the tide was rapidly swelling, to say nothing of Rex's fight affecting him thanks to the grace of his God. "Drakka-!" He said inbetween coughs and splutters, "Push them back!" Like he really needed to say it. Maybe he was panicking in the face of overwhelming odds? " Yeah, looks like some bastards came to party!" Drakka howled back over the group chat, hissing in frustration as a spike stabbed into her back and a shock of pain shot up her spine. Without any deeper thought, she screamed around and clawed another assassin down, cleaving it in half in one feral moment as her form grew nother size and shook off the rain. Yet the battle in the rain was still going strong and if Drakka wasn't just seeing things, they were getting overwhelmed, especially on Ray's-Ryan's-front. Her lipls peeled back in a significantly meaner frown and she believed as a Shadow Wolf clawed its way to life and bounded towards Ray to assist him. Drakka herself whirled around and Devoured a assassin to replenish her UP before proceeding to jump into the middle .She could feel the blows and stand upon her body and, while it did hurt like hell, she was confident that she was providing some kind of distraction and breakage. kingrex papilion raynauld akeno 0HPL9RP2

Arriving into melee range with the foe that had attempted to rattle her full of shotgun shit, Akeno, with knife in hand, gave a maniacal cackle as she spun around. With one quick sweep of her knife, the blade had gruesomely lacerated through both of the single enemy's eyes. Pixels splattered out from the wound.
"Gotcha, pinkie!" Spinning around, she spotted her ally moving in towards the fresh pack of walking sausages. Though Akeno was not nearly as quick as her companion, she still tried to make her transition of locations as swift as possible. Pulling out her slingshot, she'd nock a pebble and fire it out.
The Cannibal had little understanding of complex functions within the game. All of her abilities, being mostly straightforward, didn't really take much thought. Bite, cut, spit, yell. Her abilities were pretty simple stuff for her. But some kind of smoke that made people go to sleep with scales and stuff? Akeno couldn't understand it, but damn, she liked it.
One of the enemies, stumbling from one foot to another in a drowsy stupor, had enough thought left in his mind to raise his weapon towards The Cannibal's ally. Suddenly, a pebble struck the side of his cranium, shattering through and erupting in fire. A blast of pixels exploded from him. As Akeno arrived, she leaped onto one of the unconscious ones.
"Cool trick!" Bringing her knife down from over her head, she plunged the blade into a defenseless one's chest, before giving the handle a sharp twist. "Make's for easier choppin'!" And more killing commenced, as she stood to slice up more foes.

Alright so everyone was still alive, that was a plus. Rex didn't bother barking out any more commands, as either groups were going to have to fend for themselves much like he was doing. The needle wielding asshole they were fighting jumped from his perch and again went to attack Rex, though this time the Commando had learned his movements well enough to properly counter...
He raised both his shotgun and assault rifle within either hand, trailing his motions and firing off a barrage of buckshot and bullets to shred the hooded figure apart and have them collapsing to ground in a burst of pixels. The soldier grinned widely under his hood, sharp blues tilted outwards to view the corpse.
His quiet celebration was cut short when Hush nudged him in the back, the Commando turning to catch another group of hooded attackers heading their way. He hissed under a breath and nodded, “Toss out something for cooldowns, I'm feel'n sluggish out here...” Rex demanded out of his summon.
Hush gave him a thumbs up before reaching a hand to pull out a small silver sphere from his belt, tossing it into the air, it expanded and floated around the both of them with a blue aura, providing some kind of buff. Rex then hunkered himself down behind a brick wall and waited for his targets to get a little closer...

the world begins again Unlike previous quests with the guild, this time they had split up and it was difficult to keep track of what everyone was doing. Naomi could only hope that Carlo, Drakka and Raynauld were doing fine. Her focus had to be on the one she was with right now. She was relieved to see Akeno come out after dealing with the first hooded person and attack the rest of the group with her. This was actually the first time that she was supporting the other fully, so all of her abilities were new to the other pink haired girl. Akeno seemed to be enjoying taking advantage of the ailing enemies as she charged in and attacked them without mercy. Thanks to her, they were sluggish and sleeping unawares. A loud sound erupted from behind her. When she glanced back, she saw that one of the men hadn't been affected completely by her ability. If Akeno hadn't attacked when she did, Naomi would've been hurt. She smiled as the other woman stabbed more people. "Thanks. It's what I'm here for."Looking back around, she spotted more of them heading in. Behind her, there were already those who were firing spells and everything else at the station. They were being completely overwhelmed at this point. Some time had already passed, but when she checked her abilities, she realized that nearly all of them were still on cooldown. Her eyes grew wide as she tried to use them despite it, and failed. For obvious reasons. "What on earth?" Was it because of this thing that was happening in Dione? She could only suspect that it was the case. More spikes and spells came flying in both her and Akeno's direction. Raynauld had to move forward to avoid a falling piece of debris from the station, earning him a volley of attacks at a lowered guard from the enemy. This was not going their way, was it...? "Guys, it's taking damage!" Raynauld shouted, "I can't defend something faithless!" As cruel as it sounded, it wasn't technically wrong - a building couldn't technically have a faith, unless it was a church. But that was something to consider later. They were a tide of chaos - nearly unstoppable, unyielding, unending. All he could think to do was blaspheme; become a new-age virtual Moses and part the tide. Raising his arm, he called upon the Crimson Condemnation, the red chains latching out. Drakka would probably catch onto the plan. Of course, given that Raynauld couldn't recall using it in her presence and the conditions of the outside world, maybe she'd just keep doing her thing. That was fine, too. They were losing. It hit Drakka like a cinder block. They were losing. Another spike drove deep into her shoulder and she struggled and ultimately failed to stifle a scream as her digital body radiated with pain, and twisted away from the offender, trembling in rage. Her fur dripped with water and before long, she was trembling with more cold than anything else as the water sent shocks of freezing cold down her back. Her HP was also not pretty, and she didn't even need to look a Ray to know he wasn't doing too good either. So Drakka just did what she did best, she fought some more. Her skills still didn't cool down yet, but she seemed pretty damned determined to keep up with the battle. She clearly had no real idea what Ray just pulled, but charged in with the red strings anyway, clawing and biting with reckless abandon. kingrex papilion raynauld akeno 8aaxLEh7 +18

Having a great deal of fun, Akeno chopped through most of the remaining enemies who had their consciousnesses hindered by pinkie. "Chop, cut, slice!" The Cannibal hummed between chuckles, moving in quick dashes between her foes, striking them down within a few blows each.
"Huh?" Turning her head towards the incoming spikes, she had only turned her head half way. A single eye examined the incoming projectiles, as the raced towards her. "Oh... Shit..." The only words that could escape her lips in time, before the attack struck into her back and the side of her head.
The momentum of the attack sent Akeno plummeting to the ground, rolling a couple of times before coming to a stop. She'd taken a large hit into her already less than substantial hp pool. Luckily enough, some life still bubbled to the surface, as Akeno crawled back to her feet.
"GLARBLAAAH!" She screeched. A senseless exclamation, followed by many more like it. The Cannibal seemed little more than a senseless psychopath, drawing gunfire away form her partner in this effort, by charging over towards a nearby body. Biting into the fading corpse's shoulder, she ripped off the arm, gluttonizing the piece of meat quickly. Racing towards the next pack of enemies, only the fingers were left at the edge of her devouring maw.
After a sniff and a flicking around of her eyes, it seemed there was nine of these enemies in total. She charged in towards them. More grumbles and deprived screams and gargles came form Akeno, drawing more attention towards herself.

the world begins again As the clouds and the spikes stopped falling on her, Naomi groaned and hurriedly got back up to her feet. It was still slow-going though. Rarely did she get really hurt in battle, often being the player who hid behind cover or other members and letting them do all the fighting. Every inch of her body was screaming in pain, and she wanted nothing more than to call it quits and leave. But everyone else was still fighting. Carlo hadn't given any kind of order to them yet. Akeno looked like a mad banshee as she screamed and charged at the enemies. They completely outnumbered her, but clearly she didn't care about that as she just kept attacking wildly. Glancing at her abilities, she could see her cooldowns had already been reset. Even so, if she used them again no doubt it would be a short use, and another longer cooldown. She had to think carefully on when to use them. All the attention was on the other woman now, which was good. Her health would still go lower as they all attacked at the same time though, which was not good. Running as quickly as she could - there was less chances of her getting hit by those spikes if she was on the ground - she went after Akeno and pressed a hand to her back, giving her another buff of invulnerability. The noose tightened and the chains pulled everything caught towards him. And it was only then that Raynauld realised what an absolutely terrible idea it was as they began to wail on him now that they had the number advantage in an overwhelming sense. So his plan had failed. Usually that worked with lesser foes; perhaps these were merely too great. But now he was forced into a rather disadvantageous situation; even discounting the number of them, they were too close to accurately fight with his spear, and weapon switching was impossible in the middle of a combat situation. Given how their side of the battle was going, Drakka probably couldn't be relied on (especially since enemies not so attracted were aiming at the station). He would have needed an act of God- ... No, that was a perfect idea, actually. Raynauld's plan was incredibly foolish and incredibly short-sighted, even for him. But it was the plan he was betting the metaphorical house on. After all, the items were all in place. Raynauld pulled his spear back and thrust the point into the sky, rain running down its metal tip. And then, he prayed for a miracle. When he got his miracle, it came in the form of great wrath, a thunderbolt picking up the metal and turning him and his spear into a living lightning rod that blasted the area around him - as well as Raynauld himself - with the force of God's vengeance. The area around him and Drakka became bright and the sound threatened to shake their charge apart. A large chunk of his health simply vanished into the aether; only when the dust would settle would it be clear if it worked... Wa2Q4DwXkingrex papilion drakka akeno

Drakka, having paused in her crazed endeavor against the assassins, looked up upon Ray's plan. Her eyes danced in light as lighting jumped and carved a swath out of the enemies but she didn't miss one thing, it didn't kill every enemy. Yes, it was a very impressive attack and yes Drakka damn well wanted to see him use it again, some of the enemies didn't dissolve instantly against the attack. Some more spikes drove into the station, and she gashed her fangs as she stomped forward. Just as she thought she was going up in a suicide mission, Scaled-Up and Shadow Pack finally activated, and she suddenly had back up and stats. " Hey, Ray? Mind not killing yourself for a little? I'm going to fuck these guys up!" Her snarl filled the air, and a few enemies recognized her threat and pounced on her, only to find the loyal Shadow Wolf as their obstacles, and Drakka raised a paw to bat them aside... z06696EJ +44 kingrex papilion raynauld akeno

For a class built upon the strategy of sacrificing all defense in reckless attacks, Akeno greatly benefited from the invincibility buff being given to her. As a hand rested upon her back, The Cannibal felt a certain familiar feeling wash back over her. The same one that had protected her from the first attack sent her way in this conflict.
"Hahaha!!" The maniacal mad-woman screeched in an unnerving cackle. One of the shrouded enemies brought down his arms, swinging with them a heavy axe. This weapon, clunking down into Akeno's shoulder barely even affected her. As she hopped up and buried her knife into the defenseless scalp of this foe, pixels rained around them. "I like you, pinkie! YOU'RE COOL!"
In quick strides of impetuous ruthlessness, The Cannibal dashed around, striking foes while sustaining the brunt of harsh, incoming attacks. Though the buff would be ending soon, she had at least utilized it rather fully, having had the freedom to strike down most of their surrounding foes.
Such team synergy! Pulling out her slingshot, she shot a pebble into the eye socket of the last enemy near them, popping his head in an array of pixels. "Ayy! You're awesome! Where did Rex find you?" Akeno spun around to face her ally. She raised a hand, that in the real world would've been covered in blood, to offer a high five to her teammate. "We need more! More people like y--" Suddenly, a bullet pierced into The Cannibal.
Some sort of sniper contraption. It had launched a bullet of rather large size their way, blasting away a sizable portion of her health. Catching herself before she hit the ground, Akeno's eyes searched for the origin of the attack. Too slow, she knew another powerful bullet would be headed their way. Quickly gobbling down a nearby firearm, she stepped in front of her ally to effectively tank the attack.
"GOD DAMN IT!" While she her ability made her mostly resistant, it didn't seem completely effective against these bullets, as they had much more weight to them than most. The gun firing them had to be something much more powerful. The bullet, having whistled through the air, clunked hard against the right side of Akeno's forehead, before skittering off and falling to the ground. "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, NOT FUCKING COOL, BAD GUY!" She pointed in the general direction of the attack, another bullet soaring their way.
