[attr="class","scare1"] [attr="class","scare2"] [attr="class","scare3"] [attr="class","scarewords"]So everyone was losing their shit over this damn dinosaur egg hunt thing going on right now. Not to mention it was all in preparation for some kind of fucked up dino-race that was probably going to end with several people getting eaten by their own fucking mounts. Rex would of stayed clear of the event, if it hadn't been for another job that lined up with it a little to perfectly.
Apparently there was a group of researchers who were collecting dinosaur eggs and doing some ugly tests on them. So just like any time someone abuses an innocent man eating animal, there were those who opposed those savage behaviors. These activist were paying top ₡ to players who could retrieve stolen eggs and destroy what they could of the research facilities.
Rex's greed of course took him to one of these laboratories which was disguised as a large warehouse on the edge of the city. He'd gotten himself on the roof and was prepping himself to grapple inside through one of the skylights, the guards that were up here had already been disposed of. As willing as he was to do this alone...he knew it was probably going to be a little smoother with some company.
That's what a guild was for, right? So he'd shoot a message to everyone, and just go with whatever he got!

"AN EGG HUNT?!" Leaping up to beside the commando from out of nowhere, it was most definitely his favorite guildie. "Oh yes, yes, yes, yes!" She spun in circles, The Cannibal making all kinds of racket on the rooftop, before realizing that... Shit, they needed to keep a low profile.
"Whoops!" She uttered in a soft whisper, crouching down beside him, halting the excited jitters of her bare feet on the rooftop. "So where are the baddies? Are there baddies? What are we doing?" She whispered quickly, Akeno sparing little time. So little time had she spared, that she hadn't even read through the quest description at all. Oh well, that was how she usually rolled through these things anyways! Where's the fun in preparation?!
She squinted around at their surroundings, being more caught off guard by the height of the rooftop, rather than the actual warehouse they were staking out. "Why are we up here? What are we doing?" She asked again. Certainly irritating the commando, as per usual.

the world begins again While people were off hunting dinosaur eggs left and right, Naomi was cheerfully getting her mount crafted and ready. She wasn't really interested in participating in the race, but she happened to get an egg before the actual event was announced. And realizing this grand opportunity to mess with Carlo, she decided to make her mount based off the prickly blond. The race was just the place for her to show it off. If she was lucky, she could even win a prize! As she looked up at her creation, grinning excitedly at the thought of Carlo's reaction when he sees it, she received a message. Speak of the devil. Carlo was sending a mass message to everyone in the guild, asking for help to get dinosaur eggs. She already had hers of course, but if the others wanted to get one of their own, who was she to deny them? With nothing better to do, she might as well help her guild members out. She could just sell off the extra egg she might get from it. It didn't take her long to fly over to where Carlo was. Going up and over the warehouse, she spotted her blond haired man just waiting on the rooftop. Akeno was there too, causing quite the commotion. Fortunately for them, it didn't look like anyone noticed their presence yet as the girl quieted down a little. Making her landing in front of them, she approached with a wave and a smile. "Hi Rex. Akeno." She glanced around, trying to see if either Drakka or Raynauld were present. "So is it just the three of us today?"kingrex akeno

Drakka slithered along the ground in the form of a shadow, curiously warped and moving in a manner completely unlike a shadow, silently opening it's mouth in a forgotten greeting as she approached the warehouse. Her paws became more audible, though not by much, as she emerged back into the real world...as real as it could be anyhow... He'd gait became more and more pronounced as she trotted toward the wall and suddenly halted, bunching her back legs up to her chest and springing up the wall. She knew Rex was up there by the simple virtue that Akeno was raising all he'll up there and a woman had just flied up the roof. Her own claws colliding with the stone raised a bit of a racket, but it was generally drowned by everything else as she heaved herself up and over the roof. She smiled monstrously at Papilion, clearly proud of showing up in all her...glory...She looked terrible, all sharp ends and rough scales and fur. The darkness made her look like a nightmare, and her Guild armor was making her look like a hellhound, all in all, she was looking awesome tonight and for once the usual exhaustion was leaving her alone around the others. " Hey guys, don't screw this up." Her voice came out disproportionately of her transformed body, and she smirked at Papilion, " Hey newbie...recognize me?" kingrex akeno papilion

 | Rex flailed like a fucking bitch when Akeno came out of nowhere, squealing in a raspy hiss, “Whaaaat theeee fuuuuuck?!” He swatted at the woman briefly before attempting to cover her mouth from spilling her usual bullshit, “Shhh! Jesus, fuck!” Rex complained, though she obviously could never be stopped.
“...Yeah, there's a bunch of fucking bad people down there doing bad shit to dinosaur babies! So shut up and just follow my lead, alright?” Rex scolded with a growling set of sharp teeth, Akeno knew best to chill out before she got a beating.
Luckily Papi came to join them before Rex ended up choking the man-eater to death, his tense and violent state was quick to lighten as he didn't want to seem like a total animal in the face of her. “Hey, I thought you were busy doin' something?” He chimed back with a lazy wave, putting a hand on his hip as he looked her over.
Before he could answer her next question, Drakka came lurking from the shadows and joined them, the soldier giving the girl a wide grin as she indeed looked like a total bad ass, “Look'n mean, Sam! I like it...” He complimented before looking back to Naomi, “...Four, I guess Ray is doin...Ray stuff.” Rex sighed before taking a few steps for the skylight he'd been spying through earlier.
He tried to think of a tactical approach to get inside and get the dino eggs out safely. But to pull it off would be like trying to teach a circus of midget devil clowns to shit gold; It was impossible with these three. So with another annoyed sigh he'd slump his head back and reach to rub his face...
“Ugghh....I'm not even gunna bother try'n to make this an actual infiltration...” He muttered into his hand before looking again to the ladies, “...We're going in hard and fast, got that? Only advantage we've got is the surprise...So we gotta be quick. Kill anything that is shoot'n at yeah...find the eggs, and let's get out.” The soldier ordered before reaching to pull a smoke grenade from his belt.
“On three....” He'd pull the pin to his grenade then, placing his foot on the edge of the skylight, and aiming his assault rifle in his other hand towards the glass they'd be dropping through.
“Three!” Rex cheated his own countdown, blasting through the glass and dropping in his smoke grenade. It would twirl inside the warehouse and explode in a blanket of thick black smoke, limiting visibility. You could hear distant cries of surprise, and within seconds there would already be alarms going off.
Carlo didn't bother hooking up his grapple hook, figuring Papi would either give him golden touch or the ability to fly while he jumped inside....Or maybe he was totally wrong and about to splatter and die against the floor inside. Having faith in your girlfriend was a dangerous thing anyways!

Baffled by the thought of baddies doing bad things to dino babies, Akeno was mesmerized by the thought of killing them. Staring down from their vantage point, she barely acknowledged the joining of other guildmates. She merely gave a lazy wave to her side as the wolf and the bubblegum girl came along, her mind and eyes locked on her future prey.
When the commando began the countdown, she was already ready, knife in hand, prepared to rip through some flesh and bone. Antsy, hoping the counting would be over already, The Cannibal was pleasantly surprised when the time was cut short, and she was sent flying down into enemies below.
"HAHAHAHA, I'M COMIN' FOR YOU, ASSHATS! GIVE ME THE BABY EGGIES!" The Cannibal landed harshly on one of the enemies, crushing his body into the ground with a unnerving, grotesque crunch. This greatly softened her landing, making the damage taken minimal. His bones and body structure crumbled in a mess on the floor, as The Cannibal brutalized his already dead corpse. She got a few bites and harsh stabs in before the body faded away into pixels.
"WHO'S NEXT?!" Akeno looked up whilst crouching over her first victim, giving a sinister, crazed glare around to the enemies in the area. Really, the farthest thing from a tank, she'd at least be a good distraction. Her disgusting slaughter of the corpse had gotten almost all of the attention on her.

the world begins again "I was," Naomi began, grinning at Carlo in response. "Didn't take me long to get it done, so now I've got some free time to help out."She was completely taken aback at the sight of a large beast suddenly climbing up onto the rooftop. At first she thought it was an enemy and immediately grew tense as she scooted closer to Carlo, but as soon as it spoke, she widened her eyes. "D-Drakka?!" Carlo even went on to confirm its identity, calling the other by her real name and complimenting her appearance like there was nothing wrong with a dark, monstrous nightmare standing with them. Her lips were pressed to a thin line. Technically Drakka was still human right? It wasn't like she was going to walk up to her and sniff her out, or lick her. At least she didn't smell like an animal. There was no time to adjust as Carlo began talking to the group, sorting out the plan. She forced her mind to get into gear, focusing on the mission at hand. "I can look for those eggs while the rest of you cause a distraction," she said. All of them looked like the type of players who can cause quite a mess in battle, so she would prefer to just get out of their way. Carlo started counting down for all of them, but it was at that moment that Naomi realized there wasn't any kind of rope that led down. "Wait, how are you guys - " Before she could finish, she watched as first Carlo then Akeno crashed through the window. "You - really!" Too late to help them, she simply threw a hand out towards Drakka and touched her fur, sending her a buff of invulnerability for a few seconds. Then she hurriedly jumped in after the other two. She grabbed Carlo by the back of his armor, helping him with a slow and safe landing, while Akeno simply crashed on top of an unsuspecting NPC and began massacring him. As she and Carlo reached the ground, Naomi glanced at the corpse and the wild-looking Akeno, and felt like she was going to throw up. "Well then, you guys have fun while I look for those eggs." Patting Carlo's cheek, she flew back up into the air and disappeared from sight with Transparent Concealment. kingrex akeno

Drakka had been hoping for some kind of reaction from Papilion, and a reaction she got. After the rest of her Guild, who treated her transformation as just another enigma among them, somehow this was welcome and her shoulders shook with suppressed laughter before she snapped her jaws together, " Yup, don't shoot me or anything. I'm no wolf." She mumbled, staying as quiet as possible before pawing over to the edge of the roof, fangs clicking outward as she prepared to pounce. Papilion's buff was recieved with a confused rumble, losing her precious few seconds before she leapt downward. The remaining glass surprisingly didn't hurt her, thanks to Papilion's buff, and neither did her harsh landing. Frantically, one of the men unsheathed a scalpel and charged, ramming into the Lobisomem's side. The Blade bounced ok ff, cracking against the invincibility, and Drakka pounced, clawing a long gash over his chest. Not to be outdone by Akeno, Drakka then proceeded to crane her mouth open and grasped the man by his flailing feet before proceeding to swallow him whole. This was done basically for intimidation purposes. The monster shook out her mane and grew another foot. Spikes crawled along her back, her tail thudded against the walls and ground, cracking the building. She could see the men trying to take out their guns and knives for the three intruders, some more monstrous than others, and Drakka let our a haunting roar. kingrex akeno papilion

| Alright so Rex got just a wee bit worried when Naomi didn't grab him as quickly as he wanted, but he'd play it off with a rough bite on the inside of his cheek before she finally caught him and gently lowered him to the smoky insides of the warehouse. With a subtle breath he'd tilt a look on the woman, they were still clear of combat due to his smoke grenade, “...Not a bad idea, you're pretty smart for a dumb blonde.” He joked with a small grin before it went serious, “Right, we'll keep you covered, stay safe.”
Sure enough Akeno was the first one in there to draw a cock load of trouble. The large space they'd crash into was quickly being crowded with more highly armed and dangerous security forces, hell they looked like some kind of private military with the kind of gear they had going. What made things worse is one of them activated some kind of...power armor.
The small suit of machinery would turn a mere human into a powerful robotic killing machine, equipped with a heavy burst rifle that could shred just about anything. For now it put it's attention on Akeno, firing off booming rounds to slaughter the man-eater. The men who were opposing Drakka were quickly reinforced by the extra security team, taking no time in firing on the shadow wolf.
Rex got himself behind some cover, dipping his head out briefly to count heads and positions, using both Akeno and Drakka as bait for the moment. As cruel as it sounded, either of the ferocious and violent loving nutcases wouldn't have it any other way, and he'd be right out there once his brain cooked up an assault plan...

Still left crouching over her first victim, The Cannibal glanced around the room carelessly. She bathed in the attention, all of those horror filled eyes staring upon her. Of course, it was to her own fault, as she'd not turned to observe the power armored figure who soon began to skewer her with bullets.
Shots tearing through her already minimal max hp, Akeno's face shot over in a twitch to peer toward to source of the bullet-fire. Her vision blurred around the edges, as oranges and reds reached for her consciousness. The world seemed to intensify and exaggerate with each of her heartbeats, as agony wrenched through all of her muscles.
This display lasted a lot longer than anyone would've wished. The Cannibal screamed with absolute suffering, like a dying animal. An inhuman roar escaped her throat, growling and groaning in torturous misery. In a last ditch effort for survival, as pixels sprayed from her back and her hp neared depletion, The Cannibal devoured off the arm of the scientist beneath her.
Luckily for her, in his palm, the scientist had been holding a firearm of some kind. In devouring it, Akeno temporarily gained resistance to the bullets being fired at her, and as she charged at the one who had tormented her with such wracking pain, she screamed again. Bullets bounced from her flesh, as she would soon hope to slaughter her second victim, heartless eyes set upon him. Her stomach growled.

the world begins again Naomi tried to ignore the sounds of gunshots and explosions as she sought out an open door that some of the guards were coming out from. Carlo and the others were all experienced fighters at this point. They were used to battle and wouldn't do anything too reckless that might get them killed...she hoped. In her state of invisibility, she slipped in without anyone noticing her. As she floated down the narrow hall, keeping to the ceiling so she wouldn't bump into any guards, she noticed several more running towards her. Right as this group went past her, she fluttered her wings and sent butterfly scales down on them. One by one they dropped like files, out for the count. Using her ability made her reappear visually, but it was as simple as willing herself to become invisible again before she continued on her way. These men would've been going after Carlo and the others if she didn't stop them. At least she could give her party a bit of reprieve for a bit. Moving past them, she picked out the first door closest to her and peered inside. It was nothing but a room filled with computers, so she pulled out and went to the next one. The second room was a lot more interesting, with limbs and other body parts hanging from hooks. A table was placed at the center, with a dissected creature lying dead on top of it. She grimaced as she hurriedly went to the next room. Those eggs were surely around here somewhere. kingrex akeno drakka

Drakka felt the bullets before she heard them, piercing into her sides and sending her stumbling before she started to run and weave, hearing the men yelling and turning to pelt her in lead. Except for a few parting blows before she darted behind some creaking machinery, Drakka was generally fast enough to avoid even the coordinated rain of bullets. Naturally, the men followed, murmuring to each other about the "monster"...amateurs. Drakka crawled among the mechanic walls, jumping onto and through the tunnels of metal to avoid the upcoming strike of bullets. The men certainly couldn't catch her easily, and didn't dare shoot at only shadows. Suddenly, one screamed, and the group whirled to shoot at the actual live shadow. It wasn't Drakka, simply one of her Shadow pack that tore one enemy to pieces literally a second before it was shredded by gunfire, but it was too late, Drakka had already appeared behind them, not a shadow and very much alive. Soon enough, screaming was in the air as she tore through the array of guards. Ones screams cut off as a claw impaled him, another gurgle out a last cry as she chomped on his throat, her tail bashed two more, and she clawed another until he was nothing but a rain of pixels. The last suffered the same fate as the last, swallowed like a terrible snake, shooting the last of her bullets into her head. Her HP was in the middle, and she was reasonably cautious after such an attack and peered around the corner, curious if the others were doing well. kingrex akeno papilion

| Rex flung a grenade over the cover he was hiding behind, counting a few seconds in his head until the thing exploded and killed a few of the guards who were creeping on his position. He'd sneak out a peek at his companions then, “Just keep 'em busy! I'm sure Bubblegum will find the eggs soon! Kill 'em all if we have to!” The soldier roared, flopping his rifle over his cover as another hail of gunfire blasted into it, he'd blind fire back in retort.
When he was clear of fire, he'd finally pop up over his cover and blast into the Mecha that was still pelting Akeno with heavy gunfire, though her built up resistances to lead already had the giant backpedaling away in fear, Rex's well placed shot had it stunned briefly, sparking with a defect, leaving it easy pickings for the man eater...
Just as Drakka looked out from her cover, she'd probably see Rex doing the same and try to catch her attention with a nudge of his head towards another trio of security guards, with a flick of his hand he'd try to signal her to move on his go. With or without the wolfish monster, after a quick nod of his head Rex rushed out from his cover, summoning his riot shield as bullets sparked from it's hardy surface.
He'd fire over it, killing one of the three gunmen, hopefully Drakka had gotten the message! As much of a dent as they were putting in these guys, they almost seemed...endless. If Naomi wasn't quick about finding those eggs and whatever else they needed to extract...they might not be able to hold forever.

"THANKS PAL!" The Cannibal screamed back to the commando, recognizing the shot fired into her foe. "HEHEHEHE! OH I'LL KILL 'EM ALL! I WILL! STARTING WITH YOU, BUCKET-HEAD!" She focused her gaze intently on the armored enemy, uselessly firing bullets into her. Her resistance wouldn't last much longer, but she had all she needed to close the gap."YOU KNOW WHAT... I THINK..." She screamed like a maniac, "I'MMA MISS YOU MOST OF ALL, TINMAN!" Akeno's crazed cackle echoed in the background of the gunshots, as she stabbed her knife through the barrel of the rifle he had been tormenting her with. It didn't destroy the weapon, but at least damaged it beyond immediate repair.
Pulling the blade of her knife from the weapon with an uneasy crunch, The Cannibal held it tight in her palm. The metal man, now only equipped with his fists to fight with, swung a hard knuckle around at Akeno. Blocking the attack with an angled forearm, she ducked slightly as the fist swung over her. Giving a swift slice to his torso armor, she realized that going for center-mass attacks wasn't going to cut it. With his defenses, she needed to find a weak point.
"SHIT!" Carefully retreating for a moment, she fleeted over to one of the enemies the wolf girl had slain, giving a wave to her guild mate, as she gobbled down a machine pistol, renewing her resistance. Charging back towards her armored foe, she began the fighting once more. Her aggressive stance kept him on the defensive, and he wouldn't be able to hold her off much longer.

the world begins again Naomi moved down the hallway as quickly and as quietly as she could. From time to time she would happen upon another group of guards, which she'd knock out with her Silent Lullaby. It made going through fast and efficient. Hopefully when she came back the same way, they would be long gone. The rooms she peeked in had no eggs. There were computers, files, and even other trinkets or dino parts scattered everywhere in each room she saw, but no round shaped objects big or small. A part of her feared that she picked the wrong hall, and there would be no eggs anywhere here, forcing her to go back and look elsewhere. Carlo and the others might not have that much time to keep fighting, and thoughts of the worst that could happen the longer she took plagued her mind with worry. As she grasped the knob to the next door, she closed her eyes and prayed for the goal. And when she went in, her eyes lit up and she breathed a sigh of relief. There in the center, being warmed by what looked like incubators, were numerous dinosaur eggs. A guard was standing inside as well, grunting in surprise at her appearance. He was about to raise his gun at her when she blew a cloud of poison smoke at his face. The man flinched and pulled back, giving her enough time to send him to sleep. She immediately went past him as he fell to the ground with a loud thud, grabbing a large sack after a quick look around. Carefully, she picked all of the eggs and stacked them inside, scattering her scales once she tied up the bag. It lifted up with her easily, and though she couldn't make it invisible, she hoped that it wouldn't be necessary. A few minutes later, faster than when she went in, Naomi came down an empty hall and out into the bigger room, where all the fighting was still happening. She looked around, spotted Carlo easily, and waved to try and get his attention. The bag of eggs was floating right by her side, easily seen. kingrex akeno drakka
