"Only a few more!" The Cannibal, really uncertain of how all the cool shadow wolf powers worked, just focused on finishing off the last of the creatures emerging from the waters. It seemed like there were only a few left, the arrival of new enemies being much slower than it was before.
Only five. Feeling the importance of the situation, Akeno put all of her effort into slaying them as quickly as possible, seeing a panicked face peek from within the boat's more protected areas. Giving a smirk to this onlooker, she hoped to impress them, by bisecting one of the arms of the creatures, then shoving it off. Following up with strong, brutal stabs, her knife ripped harshly through the remaining ones. Peering back towards her adoring fan, she expected praise! The Cannibal frowned, as the terrified face hid back behind cover, perhaps hoping not to be the crazed girl's next victim.
There was only one more left, as The Cannibal peered back towards her ally. She figured the wolf girl could easily handle that final one, as her attention was ripped away. Feeling a sway in the waters. Something larger was coming. And just as she looked up, a human sized octopus-squid-monster-majigger thingy crawled from the depths, pulling itself onto the front of the boat.
"Calamari, fuck yea!" Raising a hand in the air and clapping, Akeno cheered in approval, as one of it's tentacles lashed out, wrapping around her leg.

Drakka grinned wildly as Akeno finished off the enemies, leaning forward once or twice to take a shot at the creatures herself. The boat was empty soon enough, and Drakka tilted her head to the side, expecting to see the crew coming back on board to steer the ship. They were staring at Akeno and her with pale faces and quivering limbs. Ugh, of all the times for them to be scared! The ship trembled as a new beast suddenly jumped on. Drakka curled her lips, " Ugh, I'm not eating that bastard." She grumbled, adjusting her weight before swiping for the tentacle holding Akeno and slicing it off while it writhed furiously on the floor. The floor creaked ominously and Drakka hastily threw her paws back into a spread-eagle stance, " Go! I'll get you if you fall!" akeno

Almost being pulled off her feet, before she was saved by the wolf girl, it is safe to say The Cannibal got her shit together. At least, as much as was possible for her. Her shit was baseline pretty far apart.
She liked the idea of being supported by her teammate. Support was always a good thing, right? So, the plan was, as it usually was, charge in head first! Sprinting at the giant octopus monster, tentacles began pulling the front of the boat downwards, causing gravity to pull her even faster.
"CALAMARI CREATURE, YOU WILL BE MY DINNER!" Shouting, she leaped forward, knife slicing in front of her, as she aimed for the core of the tentacles. Fiercely defending itself, it lashed out with three tentacles. Slicing the first two into bits, Akeno was not fast enough for the third, the slimy thing lashing into her side, causing her to fumble over.
Tanking hits, no matter how weak they were, always seemed to deal quite a bit of damage to The Cannibal.

Drakka tested her weight as Akeno fought, accidentally punching a hole in the ship's deck as she leaned one too many times to the side, apparently to the surprise of the crew if the screams and crying was any indication. She waved her tail for balance as Akeno fumbled over, thrusting her head forward to try and catch the Cannibal. She'd give a warning growl before pushing her back on her feet. One of the Shadow Pack jumped for the monster, but only managed to claw like a rabid animal for about 5 seconds before it was thrown aboard, howling, with an almost nonchalantly flung tentacle. Drakka roared furiously, earning it's attention long enough for it to fling away barrage of tentacles at her. Hurriedly, she raised a paw up and slammed it down, trapping the being and tearing a few tentacles off for respectable damage. She herself received some damage as some free tentacles whipped against her chest and face. " Take that motherfucker!" She bellowed, tearing swaths in the ship as she reeled in the being, " Dinners here, crazy girl!" akeno

Dinner. For a moment, Akeno thought that maybe, in some cruel joke, that was her true name. Instantly rearing her head up at the thought of dinner, being caught from the edge of the boat, she saw the creature in a weak position. Calamari sounded great, the word in her head playing on repeat.
"FOOOOD!" Charging in, grabbing a piece of tentacle off the ground and ripping a chunk off, she hopped directly at where the tentacles converged. The core of the creature, quickly pierced by her knife. Then again, and again. She continued stabbing, until she was forcefully thrown back, rolling across the boat. Landing in a crouched position after somersaulting backwards a few times, she charged back.
And finally, she was able to end the thing, dragging her knife harshly down the front of it. But then came the hard part. Seeing as the boat really couldn't support that much more weight, Akeno held the giant octopus creature at the edge, sadly teetering the boat.
"Urgh..." Seeing as the vessel would sink if she didn't give it up, The Cannibal reluctantly decided to give it a little kick-shove over the side. "Such a tragedy..." She turned a melancholy gaze towards the wolf girl, rubbing her eye. "To see such food go to waste! Seafood too! Don't you understand, wolf girl!?"

Drakka watched in amazement as the girl just tore into the bulbous form, though her bile did rise a bit at the thought of eating the ugly thing, she just hoped this Akeno had a good stomach... And it was over. Instantly, Drakka released her transformation, dancing around the cracks and holes she had created in her sheer size. She leaned down into one, barking a harsh, " Hey! How bout you get up here and steer this thing!? Yeah, talking to you bastard, get up!" Satisfied, she hopped over to Akeno and peered over the side of the ship, ripples were the only sign of the killed monsters. She smirked and tapped Akeno lightly on the shoulder, drawing away quickly once contact was made, " Pff...that would have given you a stomach ache, don't you want real food? I do! C'mon, these guys are feeding us whether they want to or not, just don't bite me!" She didn't wait for Akeno's response before whirling around and trotting toward the terrified crew, hands up slightly like a romping dog. Out of the two of them, Drakka was sure she was less dangerous, Akeno was wild and uncontrollable...Drakka wasn't sure why, but she really did like that... akeno
