Normally a bounty hunter sought bounties, but Andrew saw himself as nothing of the sort. He couldn't exactly label himself either, but he knew he wasn't that. He wasn't a hero. He wasn't a villain. But was he a nobody? Finding use was important to him, and more so than anyone else. This is why he took to the front-lines as this was what he was good at. He liked charging in, dealing the damage and sucking in the aggro. It was cool and it was heroic, but it's all he had to list under his resume since the game locked everyone in. But this is why he was out here. Training, loot and saving others. What other reasons were there? The only way they could escape the game was to keep everyone alive. The more players there were, the more they would get done, or at least in Gauntlet's mind. So if he had to take down a giant sandworm causing havoc in the desert, than so be it. His heels pulled his weight back as he slid down another dune. Tracks on the desert's surface revealed statistics, but the sounds ahead spoke of his proximity. Time to fight.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] The player Draum hated sand, it’s coarse, and rough, and gets everywhere. And being in a desert made avoiding sand an impossibility.
With a sigh, the Brawler would just suck it up and trudge through the dunes, trying the person he had queued up with for this bounty quest. Some worm was on a rampage and they had to kill it.
Looking to his feet he would remember that he had a sand worm of his own, he thought about how he would love to play in all this sand, but sadly this was a bounty hunt and not a day out so he decided to keep the pet unequipped.
Seeing a player in the distance, the brawler would mouthe, “finally”, as he activated his skill Close the Gap and rushed up to his partner.
With a friendly smile he would start to introduce himself, “The name’s Draum, my class is Brawler, nice to meet you.” He’d extend a hand before reeling it back, seeing the face of that bruiser asshole that had tried to one up him way back with setesh.
Sucking his teeth his friendly appearance would disappear and be replaced with a look of disdain, “Why’d I have to be paired up with you?”

Oh, man. What a drag this was going to be. This guy could definitely be of assistance, but at what cost? His mouth was already yapping away at the challenge. Rivalries could sprout healthy competitiveness, but the brawler spent too much time with his fits than his fists. Guidelines needed to be established if they could continue any further, and the only thing Draum could muster was his disagreement with the situation. He wasn't even trying to add a band-aid the event. “Look, I don't like you and you don't like me...” Gauntlet spoke calmly but also quickly. “Let's keep it simple. You stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of your way.” It was as calm as before, but the word choice appeared as mockery. “Easy as that.” Gauntlet finished his words before another scream echoed out from the sandworm, but this time much closer than before. Before the players could react any further to each other, the sandworm sprouted from the sandy depth's only meters away. Like a slinky, the worm bent down towards the two targets, crashing at them with its jaws cocked open.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] An annoyed look took shape on the brawlers face as he listened to the bruiser talk. He’d grip his fist tight, the leather sounding slightly from the interior of the gloves. Scoffing he’d simply spit out the phrase, “Whatever.” before the sandworm would finally make its appearance.
Looking up, covering his face with a hand to keep the sun out, he’d try to get a good look at it. As he scanned the humongous beast, it falling from the sky after its ascent, he’d scoff once again, “What, that's it?” poking fun at the worms size. He honestly expected bigger.
Looking over at the man he would look up at the sandworm and quickly push him out of the worms trajectory quickly shouting, “SavedYourLife.” as he got out of it himself.
Now, it was about time to think how he was gonna beat this thing into tiny worm sized pieces. Looking at it a bit longer he’d wonder, if you cut a worm in half, do you get two worms?

He couldn't unravel this players, or at least not like the others. Was he tough, or just an idiot? Couldn't he be both? Either way, recklessness was what got you killed in a world like gargantua. The only person Andrew ever needed to rely on was himself. This meant surviving and dealing damage. He wouldn't keep the other fighter out of the fight, but would do his best to turn an audience out of him. “I don't need your help!” Gauntlet fired back as his heels slid through the sand like a knife. The brawler's push opened a space between the two as the monster dove into the soil. His long scaly tail raced to catch up the rest of him as it also shot out of the previous hole. This was their chance to attack, but the bruiser didn't plot out the brawler into his own plans. He'd rely only on himself. “Aghhh!” The fighter used his extended right hand as footing to close the gap. One basic attack into a set of scales. A second punch followed from the other hand to force another dent into the beast. A third followed up to peak the combo, but missed as the tail escaped into the ground. Echoed screams from under their feet complimented the player's achievements anyway.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Watching at the bruiser landed a hit, he would almost be a bit impressed. That worm was coming down pretty fast, and him being able to land a hit, even hurting it at that, was sort of amazing.
But, he couldn't let this guy get the upper hand in this, he took it as a personal challenge after all, so, cracking his knuckles he would take a deep breath and wait for the worm to come flying out again.
He would remain quiet for a bet before he started to sprint off, not activating his speed boost skill and simply making haste with his own vanilla leg power.
For a moment it would remain quiet, until the ground began to rumble and the worm revealed itself, sliding through the sand as it followed the man's footsteps.
Stopping a few feet ahead of the barreling worm he would activate Raging Aura and stand firm in the sand until the worm popped out of the sand, jaws wide, and tried to engulf the man in one bite. Hopping up, the brawler would deliver a downward hook, knocking the head of the worm back into the ground.
Kicking the length of the worm as it slinked back down, the brawler would make his way back over to the bruiser with a smirk and ask, "D'ya hear that?" He'd hold a hand to his ear as he scanned the area and continue, "That's the sound of a worm that got his ass beat, too hurt to even groan." He'd chuckle and look back, the worm finally getting it's tail back into the sand.

The brawler was quick, but that's all that Gauntlet's mind would let him muster up. He had no time to react to the worm's second arrival, and instead let Draum make an attack of his own. Closing the gap was easy for him, but his damage output was hardly desirable. However, the player couldn't say much with a miss under his belt. “Yeah, yeah.” Gauntlet used his giant fist to the steadily slide the brawler a few feet away, and out of his direction. He ignored his rival's tone and focused on the sounds of the dunes. Where would the sandworm show up next? A sudden trembling to the sand under the bruiser's showed the answer; it was right under his feet. “Watch this!” Gauntlet's voiced heightened as he begun to show off. Two steps to the right and a spin on his toes had him side step the worm's spawn from the ground, but without exiting the appropriate range. One, and two jabs made extra dents into the monster's scale. Before the beast could escape again, Gauntlet released a single God Breaker at the end of his combo. Collision met somewhere in the creature's middle, and unraveled the rest of its body. Once the force of the blow solidified, the worm's tail and head lashed back in a sudden display of power. It's long figure flew off into the distance, adding a shadow over the desert surface. Andrew remained in his position until the monster hit the ground.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Standing firm as he was pushed, his feet making tracks in the sand as he moves back, he would keep his smile, watching the bruiser with a focused eye and arms crossed.
A bit stunned at the might if the man's fist and how well he was able to handle them, the brawler would uncross his arms and wait until the impact to start a slow clap, no words being spoken as he looked at the back of the man's head.
Stepping forward the brawler would take a stand next to the man, “You punch nice, let’s be friends.” He’d extend a hand to the man, paying no mind to the fact that there was still a hungry worm trying to hunt down these two. Right now, this man was his priority, not the worm.
Waiting for the man to take his hand he would feel the vibrations of the worm underfoot. Though it wouldn't really phase him, he needed to shake this man's hand, gauntlet in gauntlet.

“Fair enough.” Gauntlet extended a hand outward, but much larger than the brawler's. The silver-colored glove engulfed draum's smaller, but not less-powerful, palm. A simple rattle ensured their agreement to the situation. Healthy rivalries were good, but keeping a calm mind was more important. Especially when they were dealing with a monstrous brute like the sandworm. “You ready?” The white-haired young man sent forth an invitation. His body turned towards the worm's gurgling screech below their feet and released the brawler's hand. Hopefully in succession, the bruiser side stepped once more as the worm purged out from the front. It was from here that Gauntlet returned his eyes to the brawler, and revealed a simple smirk, a summons to his partner's attack. And like that, Gauntlet called on a combined attack between the two. He would only cast a simple basic attack, but would time with whatever the Brawler had queued up for extra damage. It was time for a super mega ultimate friendship punch! You know, if Draum could keep up that is.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] With his hand being intercepted he would nod in approval, even with his hand being engulfed he felt a sense of friendship forming on equal ground as the other punching class.
With a smile, the brawler would release his grip and turn with the bruiser, nodding in return after he had asked if he was ready.
Cracking his knuckles and rolling his neck in wait for the worm to shoot up, he would give a smirk back to his newly acquainted friend and prepare himself. Firmly planting his foot into the sand he would deliver a flurry of basic punches before the bruisers single punch hit, ending it with a final uppercut as the other man landed his blow.
Bringing a hand down, it being firmly grasped within the gauntlet, he would pump his fist downward. After the minor cheer he would hold up a hand for the bruiser to high five before the worm finally landed.

With their powers combined, a devastating blow was unleashed in the span of just a moment. And within that moment, the lines appeared to blur around their flesh and the colors seemed to fade away. At first, the sandworm's body bent as the brawler made his marks, but the final sequence curled his body entirely. Beside the rest of its body, the worm's tail was completely torn from the desert soil and flew with the rest of its body upon the release. Again, as before, the snake-like body tossed and turned through the atmosphere, casting a giant shadow as it hid away the sun. “Well done.” He spoke calmly, but also genuine. With a slight bit of reluctance, the bruiser's power fist made contact with the brawler's palm. Although nearly ten times the size, another side off common agreement was met. It was a success, and good one at that. The worm's body twitched and turned in the distance, but it appeared to be down for the count. Its life bar only carried a single notch of red suggesting one single attack was required. Whether they wanted the loot or wanted to save the day, they'd still have to finish the beast with one more basic attack. “After you.” Gauntlet motioned his giant hand into sandworm's direction.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] With the new bond forged, the brawler would feel a sense of euphoria, it's not everyday you meet someone with the same calling as you, and to get off on the wrong foot only to end up walking together was an accomplishment in and of itself. He was actually happy to be standing here with this fine gentleman.
But as the bruiser offered the brawler to go forward he would reel back some.
"NoNo, friend. I insist you go first, its only fair that you get to finish it off, I got more hits in after all."
He wanted his new friend to seal this friendship by showing a little humility and letting the lower leveled bruiser get the final hit off on the creature.
"I want you to be the one to put this thing down, for both of us, for our new friendship to be set in... sand."

It was appropriate for the both of them to show some humility, and some kindness. Especially after the way they had treated each other, not just here, but previous raids and other challenges. Punching things together could be a lot more fun than punching things alone. Tag teams were a thing for a reason. Too bad Gauntlet would let the invitation go to his head and challenge his ego. “No, no. You should do it. After all, my attacks dealt more damage.” The white-haired lad spoke genuine with just a small hint of sarcasm in the end. He didn't exactly mean it as a way of initiation to a fight, but more so a return to what the brawler had mentioned before. Gauntlet might have been clever, but he was also a hot-head. This is what made him look past the request of a confirmed friendship. “It's only one basic attack.” He taunted.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Flinching as the bruiser had mentioned something about doing more damage to the worm, the brawler would chuckle.
"Heh, I wouldn't say that you did more damage, considering I got more hits in and the fact that my basic attacks probably deals the same amount of damage as two of your attacks chained."
Going a bit closer, the brawler would set a hand on the bruisers shoulder.
"How about you just take the hit and we can call it a day, huh?"
The brawler had a sort of a mom grip on the man as his gauntlet tightened a bit more on the bruisers shoulder.
"It's the least I can do to show some respect to one so undeserving of it as you."
Backing up as his mouth ran quicker than his mind he would bite his tongue and let out a sigh. Why did he have to go and say something stupid like that. Aw well, the damage is done and it can't be undone now.

He just wouldn't go down. This would have been admirable to the bruiser if the situation let it, but not here. It was all one big joke. They finally teamed up together, made an agreement, and now they were ready to let it fall apart to what it was. Maybe destiny wouldn't let them have it. Not here. Maybe somewhere else. Maybe when their lives were on the line. Their egos were too much for the both of them and things would never change. “No, I insist.” Gauntlet swiftly knocked away the brawler on his shoulder with a casual hand. “I'm not interested in it. You worked so hard for it.” Gauntlet fired out again, ignoring the 'undeserving' comment. As the boys rattled away, a small skeletal warrior sprouted from the dust. With his eyes focused on Draum, the skeleton's short distance to the worm would go unchecked. As it slowly stumbled over to the target, one swing of the rusted sword finished the beast for the two fighters could make their mark. Well, that solved that problem rather quickly.
