The slight bit of a shiver that ran through Oasis when she was nudged was cute. Cute in the sense that it gave some kind of direction to what kind of person Towns was dealing with. The young man ran a hand through his hair as he let out a small chuckle to her. "Relax, no sea monsters yet." Speaking to her only to see herself laugh at her own jumpiness. 

He took her hand with a firm handshake, cordial as he gave a brief nod. "I'm Towns, and yeah seems like we are together on this one. Here one second." He paused as he let go of her hand, beginning to pull up the player interface. A few clicks before sending a official party invite to her. "This paradise should be interesting to say the least. You here just to soak up some sun on that beach when we land? I mean, no offense when I say this. But you don't seem like the usual run of the mill gamers I see running around." Inquiring into her background as he leaned his back against the railing of the ship.

Towns' eyes began to wander a bit as she talked, scanned above to the ship itself and while it wasn't the most fabulous of boats there was a comfortableness to it. It was the first ship he had been on in years, not since his time as a mere child had he been on a boat. It was nice, however he couldn't let his sense settle. The boat still could have been in danger.


He looked back in time to catch the girl pout for a moment. Catching a glimpse of it, he reassured her. "We all have to start somewhere, I imagine that it is easy to get caught up world the way things are. I have to admit I've done the same, even when I am trying to get shit done." He looked over the girl once more, mainly to see if she was the one to get in a kind of fight. The game took liberties in allowing a broad range of classes, some being more obvious then others. He let his gaze return to the ship before he got caught gazing. "I hope to get something to give me a edge, I need something to tackle the dungeon of endless. I figure that is how we get out of here. Everywhere else I've tried to explore has been fruitless."

He didn't really know what she capable of, and if she had been around before on some of the previous raids she would get the idea of what he was about. Till then, the rifle with a scope attached to it that hanged over one should would have to get the message across. "We all start somewhere, I guess this would be your first MMO. It would help to have someone around to show you the ropes of things, I usually go alone on these things. But maybe I could help you out." He said before turning his head back to her, a flash of teeth that indicated a small smile. 

He let himself join her in the positioning, looking into his own reflection of the water. Their shoulders touching, a small comfort to have as the two chatted. "I don't know even if I will get my answer there. I just know there wont be a lot of fun coming up..." Towns began to trail off as he saw something that seemed like motion under the water. It was still at first, but suddenly shifted and twitched. The darkened shape in the water becoming easier to notice as Towns began to sling his rifle into his hands. "Looks like we found something!" As he said there was a sudden thud that rocked the ship, something forceful enough to cause both Towns and Oasis to stumble back. The sound of the water's surface breaking as a large serpent-like entity perhaps twenty feet in diameter rose arched over the ship, before beginning to crash back into the sea.

Towns got back up to his feet after the momentary gaze just fixated on such a creature. Simple to say that such a creature this large had to be the main barrier between the sea and this supposed paradise. "Well I hope this is a good icebreaker for you." Saying this as he felt a splash of water hit him in the face, the tail of this thing causing the wave. The fact that he quickly became soaking wet, he let himself laugh a little. Oh he was so going to kill this thing. 

Seeing Oasis already starting to come up with a plan gave Towns such a relief. She could see him visibly lighten up, as if something had been pressuring him since the moment she first saw him. Letting out a long sigh, Towns shook his head swiftly like a wet dog. Just trying to get some of the water off him. "It is so nice to not be the only one trying to get a strategy. That sounds like a great idea, if we make it through this. I'll definitely help you catch-" He was cut off quickly, as another shudder rocked the boat. "I'm a pretty good shot, so I just have to anticipate where it is gonna be. Or if you can make stay above the water, even for a bit longer that would help. You got anything in that spellbook that can do that?" He inquired as he kept his eyes peeled on the potential reemergence of the sea serpent.

Towns let his hand run through his now wet hair, his hair slicked back from the sea water. "Yeah not so friendly I guess. Any who." He began to scan around the ship area for a proper position for him to take a clear shot of it. Could he get to the top of the ship, perhaps with some time he could? 

Looking back to Oasis, there was a loud thump on the ship. A large golem made of steel loomed over the two of them. Seemingly impressed, he gave a surprised look to Oasis. "That ought to draw its attention. Good job!" He exclaimed as he looked down the end of the ship. A set of stair that led to the upper floors. "See you there!" Towns booked it down towards them as Oasis made here way to the front of it. 

A few minutes of running and navigating the large ship, and Towns found it. While he wasn't able to get right up to the roof, he located the next available railing that allowed him a wide open view of the ship. "Ready when you are!" Shouting to Oasis as he checked his ammo. It wouldn't be long before he was in the zone, despite the rumblings as they became more and more frequent. Soon just as Oasis said, the giant sea serpant burst from the water once again. Clearly it was about to attack, however as Towns got sight. He let loose a shot that echoed around the sea, clearly doing more as one his abilities popped.

Towns let shot after shot, just enough to rattle the giant beast. It reeled and screeched as the sniper pulled the bolt of his rifle repeated. Shots echoing out to the ocean as he didn't let up. Knocking the bolt back one last time, he hit the creature with a cripple shot, debuffing the creature.

Quickly it submerged it'self back to the sea as Towns slowly lowered his rifle. He was built for damage and a large meaty target was his favorite thing to battle with. For the most part they all appeared to be safe, however among the mass of gunfire that echoed Towns lost focus. Below him, Oasis was no longer where she once stood. "Uh Oasis...? You ok?" He asked actually seeming concerned. "Oasis?!" Towns shouted from atop the boat, as he didn't hear her previous exclamation.
