Finally something with monsters, and somewhere where hopefully Wisteria could add some more beasts to his taming ability. After all, his ability would be useless unless he had some monsters to summon and soon. The more the merrier after all considering he really didn't have much to do other than summon monsters. So the white haired sword user had come to the caverns to find some monsters and protect some miners. They apparently would even offer others the ability to mine as well but Wist wasn't sure it was his best idea to mine something.
He had never mined a day in his life, and he was sure if he tried now he would probably cause a cave in. That was just what he needed, a cave in that killed him. Best death ever - or not. So instead Wist made it all the way to where he found npc miners digging away at the rock looking for something shiny, or at least he hoped. Maybe they would find something worth wild and turn it over for helping keep them safe, who knew really what these quests really had in store for it's players.
So for now the white robbed man leaned against the wall hoping that someone else would come down here seeing his green cursor. Sometimes it really was a pain to get people into parties, if only he could just fine a permanent partner to do everything with. The thought did cross his mind about sending a message to the guy he had met during the festival, what was his name again? Far something, hey if no one showed up maybe he would be inclined to do so. @tag |

young soul It was one of those missions where players actually have to try their hardest to survive, in order to beat the game and go home. Missions were esstiental to beat the game, so Nexon might as well gain experience in taking on missions. The objective of the mission was to protect the miners from the monsters. This mission might also benefit Nexon in testing out his chains, but he would need a partner. That's the biggest con of his class that in order for the class to work at it's best, he would need to be in a group of attackers ready to spam attack while Nexon restrained the target. The Binder would circle around the place in search for a partner to complete the mission. Nex ignored the NOV miners, it was weird talking to things that didn't exist, almost uncomfortable to talk to computers. He felt like the NPCs were in on the plan to trap Humans inside the game. It didn't take long for Nex to spot a potential partner. It was a man in a white robe leaning against the wall of the cavern. It's wise to never judge a book by it's cover, the stranger could be strong and help him complete the mission with ease. The Binder pit on this cocky grin on his face as he made his way toward the player, making sure the player would notice Ned before making a move. It would be pretty strange if a shirtless player with tattoos came up to you. It's hard to trust players because of they could be in real life. Imagine teaming up with a player that escaped prison and murdered countless people in real life before getting stuck in the game. His red robe around his waist brushed against the wall of the cavern as his back leaned back right beside the man with the white robes. "Nexon, call me Nex. I'm guessing that you heard about the monsters here. I could handle them by myself if I wanted to, but just to be nice I'll help you in you're partaking in the mission." It was a bluff to make Nexon seem cool, there's no way he could handle them by himself. Nex's pride would never admit that he's a low level player. [/div]

Wisteria hadn't been there for very long before it seemed another green cursor was heading into the caverns. Maybe just maybe that meant that another player was heading his way, after all it wasn't like anyone could do these missions on their own, a flunk in the game he guessed. Or maybe it was the games way of trying to prevent as many deaths as possible. Who knew at this point what the game was designed to do as it was a death trap to everyone.
Yellow eyes glanced to the side to see the new player that was walking his way, it was an unusual avatar, he would admit but he couldn't judge after all. This was a game and however you went about it people chose what would help them out. So Wisteria had nothing at all against how the player wanted to live his life he did however have a problem with the attitude the other seemed to have about the entire situation and he couldn't help but twitch ever so slightly.
Still a smile formed his face as he looked over at the other who stood beside him now. "Wisteria. I can't help but correct you though, in order to take on any type of quest you need two players. So sadly even if you were that strong you wouldn't be able to do it by yourself. Would this happen to be your first quest?" he asked.
Even so he moved his right hand opening the menu and accepted the quest and sent a notification to the other to join his party for the quest. Part of him hoped one other would join but hey, beggars couldn't be choosers after all. |

young soul The stranger made Nexon look like a fool for a moment, already five minutes into his first mission and was already fucking up. He wasn't one to read rules and jumped straight into his first mission without realizing solo wasn't an option. "I knew thag! I was just testing your knowledge in case you was a newbie at missions!" If Nex doesn't stop he might get caught up in his own lies. It was only a matter of time before everyone in the game realized how inexperienced Nexon was. A sigh escaped his lips, at least it wasn't that bad. "Sadly, yes. This is my first mission, Wiseteria. Wiseteria.. Wis'! That's your nickname for now on." The newbie also opened his menu to accept the party invite. The invite relieved Nex, thinking the white robes man player would laugh at the newbie for messing up. There's a lot of danger in these kind of missions, that's a main reasons for why Nex has never done one yet. So far he's been trying to perfect his skills before meeting his first NPC enemy in combat. There's no redos, the slightest mistake could end his life for good. If Nexon couldn't even figure out the rules for a quest, there's no way he could complete it. It seemed like his new ally had some experience in these type of things, so at least he's safe for now. "So, where the tell do we find the monsters? I've never been here before, it's quite big. I don't wanna follow the wrong path and get lost," he chuckled. The would be the worst way to go out. Trapped and alone slowly waiting for some monster to sneak up on you at your lowest and strike.
Nexon darted back to Wis'. "By the way, what's class? If we're going to work together we might as well get to know each other so we can perform bet tree r in combat together." The goal was to earn Wiseteria's trust. It's all about trust when partying up together, just I'm case they're in a bad situation.
If all goes well, they might crush this quest with ease. Nexon was finally ready for his first quest, all fired up to go smash some heads in. Just one step closer to beating the game. It wasn't because he could leave, it's just a pet peeve of his to leave something half finish. Always win.

Wist rose a slow brow when the other tried to come back that they were just testing his knowledge, yet the way he said that made it seem like the exact opposite. Wist wouldn't push him about it though, it just wasn't the type of person he was so he let it go for now. Even so it made him ease a bit when the other seemed to finally tell the truth instead of lying about it. It was bad to start a mission based on lies after all and Wist would much rather have someone who told the truth than someone who lied over something so simple.
"Wis is fine with me, that or Wist. Don't worry about it, it really doesn't seem like a hard one so it will be good experience for you." he said finally easing up to the other. Still he didn't want to be too careless, if he was they could easily blow this and someone could die. Even if it wasn't in the dungeon that didn't mean that they couldn't die in here on a quest much like this one. Still Wist had been on a couple of these now and while he had been damaged, there wasn't nearly as much risk of dying as he was sure there would be in the dungeon itself.
"Once you accept the quest generally the monsters will start to appear, while the quest is active, our cursors will change color and monsters will generally spawn here. Apparently you can also mine but I'm terrified I'll bring the tunnels down on top of me so that's not on my to do list. It seems to be a timed mission if you look right here." he motioned to the very right corner of the vision. "You should see a countdown, that's how long we have to protect the miners. You don't have to go anywhere for this mission." he said.
Hopefully that would be enough explanation on it, as Wist really didn't know everything himself either, since it was his first time doing it himself. "Hmm? I'm an attacker, but my ability is beast tamer, when I destroy monsters I can contract with them and summon them later." he said as a quick explanation. "I have a few already so that will help with today's mission, but they have a limited time out so I'm going to wait till monsters actually appear to use it. So I'm hoping I can add more to my collection here soon." he said finishing now.
Wist was finished talking now, at least for the time being his yellow orbs glancing to any caves that lead to where they currently were as the npc miners continued to dig into the walls of the caverns.

young soul Just nodded at the explanation given to him, still had no idea how the quest worked. Nex lost him in the first few words, it was a lot to take in at the moment. "Uh huh, I gotcha. Protect miners from monsters. Timed quest. Right, got it!" Those were the only things he actually understood, but it wouldn't take long for Nex to get used to mission and knowing the basics. It was confusing, about the life bar and protecting the miners. If it wasn't for Wist's knowledge, Nex would be lost right now. He would let Wis' take the lead on the mission, following suite. "Tamer class? That sounds amazing! Are you going to take some of the monsters we're gonna fight? That would be amazing. By the way, I'm a Binder class. Basically, I restrain targets. We might just benefit from each other. I can bind the monsters while you defeat them and tame them if you want. Sounds like a perfect tactic to me!" Nexon was excited, with a class like Wist's, they could be unstoppable in defeating the monsters. The perfect dup for defeating monsters. His eyes glanced around the place the second be accepted the mission. "So I'm guessing it started now. Which NPC miners do we protect?" He asked, expecting Wis' to know all the answers. The most difficult part of the mission was protecting the miners and defeating the monsters at the same time, even with two people. Nexon stayed on his toes, battle ready just in case something catch him off guard. He had to be ready in situations like these. All this adrediline and excitement was killing him, just so eager to start his first quest into the beginning of the game. Nexon expected his last mission to be the one when he's finally free. His eyes were locked on to his ally, waiting for him to take the lead of the mission. [/div]

Wist smirked slightly at his words that came after his explanation, it was the basis of what he said so that would do for now. Wist however was quiet for a moment as he glanced at the timer to the right, 10 minutes, oh this would be a pain if a lot came at once or if they weren't really suited to working together. For the most part he had two people to fight with him as he could summon one beast at a time right now, but he was sure after he leveled up he would be able to summon more.
His attention however was drawn back to the other as he talked about the differences in their classes. That being said, he smiled some because maybe this would be a good pair. "I see, that might be a really good combo then, if you can hold them so I can do the most damage. That's my condition on my targets that I have the most hits on them before my contract will work. So if you hold them it will be rather easy for me to activate contract, so thank you in advance." he said before glancing back at the miners.
It was a fair enough question and Wist turned slightly back to where they were working and motioned to the three that had red cursors now. "The ones with the red cursors are affected by the quest, though there might be a bonus if we protect all of them so we should try to protect all five npcs if we have the option." he said but his explanation was cut off short as a low growling was heard down one of the caves.
"Oh well, that means they are coming." he said drawing his blade from his waist now as he moved into a more battle ready stance. "Call of Summoning." he said as a slight glow came from his avatar as a glyph formed at his feet and one in front of him as a Goblin with a blade formed only a moment after but it has a light glow showing that it was under his control.
"You ready? Cause they won't wait." and just as he said that a black wolf seemed to rush out and attack the goblin who swung its blade to stop the attack. "More will probably be coming." Wist called before rushing forward doing a good cut to the side of the wolf to take a good amount of damage and making the monster disappear. Wist frowned slightly, that was a bad sign if he ever saw one, ugh and he thought this would be easy.
"Heads up monsters are weak so I suspect a lot of them to show up." sure enough about 7 different monsters appeared as they came down the different tunnels. "Three tunnels: Right, Left and Middle, how far can your binding reach?" he asked as he got ready for them all to charge, man this was really a pain.

young soul Maybe it could work out for Wis', with a condition like that in a group full of attackers it would be hard to get the most hits. Nexon enjoyed assisting kills and helping out allies, so he didn't mind. It was the least Nexon could do for Wis' since he helped him with the basics of the mission by helping him make contracts with he defeated monsters. As Wis' went on about who to protect, his focus was now on the miners with red cursors, even the ones without it. If Wis' was right, maybe they might get more for protecting all of them. Their objective was to protect the miners until time was up, not kill as many monsters as possible. His eyes sparked with amazement as he watched as the summoner activate his skill and summon to aide. His heart was pounding fast as the quest officially started. Nex wasn't scared, just a bit nervous. It was his first time engaging in battle with monsters. All he could do was carefully listen to his all's direction and prepare himself for the wave of monsters heading their way. Just then out of nowhere, a wolf launched a strike on his ally's summon. This meant all out brawl, there's a possibility they could die. The Binder unsheathed one of his daggers, standing in a fighting stance. He trusted his opponent could handle the one monster on his own, and he was right. It only took one attack to kill the wolf. His partner was an amazing combatant, but it felt a little bit too easy. Even a newbie like Nex could tell that weak monsters meant more monsters, and the look on his all's face as he explained it was right. "My chains can move up to a fifty feet perimeter, can't pass that range. But it's fine the miners are in my range. I can only bind up to six targets at a time, so if a lot are coming at once this might be bad." It was getting real now, a life or death situation. This was no longer a game, it was survival of the finest. His eyes were now focused on the tunnels Wis' mentioned, those were the entrances for the monsters and just to be safe he made sure to watch his surrounding. Nexon didn't need to focus on the miners as any monster that's a threat to Nex's in the perimeter will be bonded without Nexon actually having to see it. The four goblins stepped into the perimeter of his chains, their intended target were the miners with the red cursors above them. The tattoos pm the Binder's back would tear off his dark skin, instantly heading straight forward the goblins without hesitation. The chains were there to protect the Binder class user at all cost. The goblins were inches away from taking some health off the miners cursors before pitch black chains surrounded their body, restraining their movements. The chains were tight enough to completely stop the monsters from moving. Wis'! The goblins near the miners!" He shouted to get his partner's attention to attack the binded goblins. A dagger twirled in Nex's right hand, ready for some more monster. An extra goblin followed behind the four goblins, but it arrived late. Without a second thought, Nexon rushed the goblin with a battle cry. The goblins held a short sword in it's hand, raising it high in the air to collide with the Binder. It's time for Nexon to prove to the game that's he's not a newbie and not an easy player to kill. The goblin was way shorter than him, so Nex used that to his advantage. Just two feet away from each other, the Bind would leap into the air. From the goblin's point of view Nex went pretty high. There was to way the goblin could get enough height to reach Nex on time. Before the opening went away, Nexon sent a high speed dagger towards the top of the goblin's head. It killed the goblin in an instant. The monsters were easy, so that was a problem. Nex would rather fight four strong monsters than fourty weak ones. The chains on his back was still active as he prepared himself for the next monsters, still in range of the miners. [/div]

Hearing his length of chains that was actually really useful, and maybe just maybe even with so many enemies they could handle it. "Six is plenty if you can hold them I can kill anything that you don't then finish off the ones that can't move." he said nodding a bit. Still it seemed that things had started going now as monsters started to show up as four goblins went towards his partner as he took the other three that had come his way as rather pesky bat like monsters. He already had goblins so defeating the bats would prove more useful, it didn't take long as his goblin's swing managed to swipe one while his blade caught the other two before they got past him.
"Contract!" he called using his ability before the last bat faded as it was surrounded in a yellow light before it faded but that meant that the contract had been completed and a new monster was added to his ability to summon. Turning however it seemed that a couple goblin's had made it close to the miners they were asked to defend. Wist moved leaving his summoning near the caves to stop any other monsters that were coming. Instead he moved quickly, with an attack boost thanks to having a monster currently summoned.
"I got it." he called back as his blade swung quickly and efficiently and with a few smooth strikes the three that got wrapped up broke apart as data pieces returning to the system. If it went this smoothly this would be a rather easy quest compared to some of the others - it also probably helped that he could also summon monsters now and he hadn't been able to before.
"Good job holding them, I'm sure it will have a small delay before the next swarm so take the moment to relax and get ready. I assume they will get bigger, I'm thinking the next wave will be 10 enemies." he said but it wasn't like he was one hundred percent sure it was just guessing after all.

young soul After Wis' killed the goblins that were binded, it gave Nex the chance to rest. His partner was absolutely amazing in defeating the goblins. So far the first wave was done and not a single miner was injured, that's pretty good for a newbie. The Binder took a knee for a few minutes, thinking up some tactics on making sure the miners keep their health until time was up. "Thanks. Ten monsters? They're probably going to be stronger. At least we made it this far, let's just continue what we're doing. Trap and kill." Nexon was now level headed after experiencing his first encounter with monsters, his butterflies went away. He's not going to celebrate until the last second of the time was done, then it's finally over. He could tell the next wave was on their way as they speak, stronger than the last one. After relaxing for a while, Nex had the energy to take on the next wave, even stretching a little bit to seem cocky. " That was easy, we got this Wis'. A second dagger was unsheathed, with not that much intention of using his class skills for the next wave. He was getting too cocky now, thinking he could take on the next wave without the use of his chains. Sadly for him, he had no control over his chains. The pebbles on the ground began to vibrate as two larger gray wolves appear from the right tunnel, they were larger in size from the wolf from the first wave. Their fangs were sharper and larger, they were more advanced. The player rushed towards the stronger wolves with no fear in his eyes, confident in his abilities to take them on like what he did to the goblins. Picking up the first dagger he used on goblin with a second dagger in his other hand, Nexon would launch himself at the first wolf in his way. The stronger wolf used it's superior strength to throw the Binder on the ground, leaping on his chest. It's class pressed down against Nex's as chest as the drool from the wolf almost felt real. "Wis," he cried out. It wasn't a cry for help, it was for another reason. "Don't help me! Just focus on the miners and the monsters that are coming, I'll handle these two. Trust me, I got this." Being on top of Nexon left one spot vulnerable for Nex to strike, it was close enough for a short range strike towards the bottom of it's belly. The Binder rapidly jabbed both of his daggers back and forth into the stomach of the larger wolf. It didn't go out in one strike like the last enemies, these ones were a little bit tougher. After a few more stabs, the wolf on top of Nexon turned into data. The newbie stood up before dusting his red robe off. The next wolf gave Nex no time to recover, always pressuring him. It would rush towards the player with it's fangs out ready to bite Nex. There wasn't enough space or time to react, the wolf bit down on Nixon's right arm. Even if it was a video game, it felt real. The pain and everything. Bits of data would drop down from inside the monster's mouth. Not only was it Nixon's data, it was also the wolf. The wolf had bit down on one of the arms with the dagger in his hand and gave Nexon the chance to land it in a vital spot. A dagger shot from out of the top of the wolf's head before it turned into data. There was data around the Binder's forearm, the fangs not fully sharp enough to completely bite off his entire arm. There wasn't that much feeling in his arm, but enough for Nex to flinch it a little. The slightest move brought more pain to him, though. "Shit, that stupid mutt! That's why it's dead!"[/div]

It really didn't give them a lot of time to rest, but wist could also tell the the other was getting a little too giddy for his britches. Wist didn't really like that idea, you could never be too cocky when faced with missions like this, they sensed it. Wist could even think that the game would purposely make it harder because of that same cockiness. Still it had gone rather well with the last hoard and with the boost it would be a pretty quick victory as long as they stayed on point and his summoning wasn't defeated.
"Yea, trap and kill." he said but still it seemed almost as if the other really didn't want to trap and kill, instead he took the front which really worried Wist but for the moment he didn't say anything. The white haired attacker simply nodded when the other said they had this, but there was still that uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. After all, he really didn't want to be the one to tell him that things probably wouldn't be as easy as he expected.
Without much wait however, it seemed the next round was upon them and Wist didn't really have time to worry about the other when he was suddenly surrounded by eight, all aiming for the same goal the minors. Thankfully as goblins they weren't quick like the wolves where so Wist was fast enough to stop any with quick jabs to the legs to send them tumbling and let his summoning finish off what he had made useless. Still eight was still a lot for even him and one did manage to get a hit on him with their club doing a bit of brute damage but not enough to really make him concerned.
Nex's yell however made Wist look over but he grit his teeth some so that he would ignore for now letting him do what he said he would. By the time Wist had finished up with his monsters, it seemed that the other had managed to keep the two wolves at bay and eventually kill it. He still frowned slightly at the injury he seemed to have.
"You have to take this seriously, I'm not sure you're the best at front end but I'll probably need you soon, because I have a few more moments with my summoning before it will disappear for a bit." he said sighing. The cool down really was a pain sometimes but he was sure if they actually did the original plan they could survive for the short time before he could re-summon.

young soul Nexon sighed, his partner was right. What he did was really reckless, getting way too full of himself. The goal wasn't to prove nothing, but to protect the miners from dying. Nexon took some steps back toward the group of miners and Wis' while keeping his eyes on the tunnel for the next group. His partner was almost out of summoning, so it was not wise for Nex to leave him and the miners unattended. "Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. I should've been focusing on the mission more. Trap and kill, let's do it. So how many monsters do you think that are coming this time?" The real question was actually how strong they really were. Just a few more minutes before the next wave were heading their way. Out of one of the tunnel came out a bigger and stronger goblin, taller than the last wave of goblins. The goblin's cub was larger than Nexon's whole body, made out of strong oak wood. The goblin appeared like it's been to some virtual gym, it's body all bulky. Tattoos began to move down his body into the cave's ground. "Trap and kill." This time he had control over the chains, controlling it's movements underground. Everything went silent for a moment, all Nexon could hear was the grunting noise from the goblin. "NOW!" It was the signal for his partner to attack once the goblin was binded. Chains wrapped around the goblin's large feet, rapidly moving up to the head of it's bodu. It took a lot of force to drag the goblin down into the cave's ground with only the waist and above left on the surface. It strained the hell out of Nexon to keep a monster so physically strong in the ground. Whatever summoning Wis' had left, Nexon urged him to hurry up and kill the goblin. The best way to beat the quest was to work together and keep his cockiness to a minimum. Nexon only had one life to libe, and risking it every five seconds to prove to himself that he's good could be his weakness. There's no way he's going to die to a computer, something that Human beings built. Nex refused to die to them. [/div]

Wist really didn't want to play the role of parent figure or someone who would nag, but he didn't want to be the cause of needless death. This kid was on a quick path to that route however if he kept being so careless, and Wist wouldn't be able to live with himself if that happened. So instead of worrying about what he could do to prove himself Wist had to pull him back to reality, if this had been a normal game it would have been fine but it wasn't... this was a game where your real life was on the line.
"Don't worry about it, I just don't want you to get seriously hurt. " Wist let it go once more hoping the other actually heard him this time. If he continued they would have to abandon the mission if only to keep themselves from dying, the quests rewards were only important if they walked out of here after all. "It's hard to say, with the monsters getting stronger it means probably less but harder to actually kill till the final boss shows up." he said.
No time to play as more groblins started to come but much more powerful than before. His smaller goblin tried to attack but was quickly destroyed by the strength of the other as wist put up a hand to shield himself from the pieces of data that went flying from his summoning being broken. Thankfully before it could do anything else his partner seemed to understand as the huge beast started to get frozen by what Wisteria assumed was the other's ability.
"On it!" he called as he shot forward landing two deep blows in its stomach before a few more right to it's chest. Wist hissed and jumped back that attack buff had been nice but this fucker was a lot more tough than the ones that had come before him. "Take a break, I've got this guy for a few moments so you can re-cooperate, don't drain yourself all on one enemy." he called back to the other before striking again at the beast to get it's attention as he led it away from the miners leaving Nex in charge of protection while he distracted the monster for a moment or two.

young soul Nexon took a deep breath before letting out a sigh of relief, if it wasn't for his partner he would've been dead by now. The monsters we're getting stronger and stronger by the wave. All of this was putting a lot of stress on his body, lucky for Nex his partner was hear to aide him. After his partner landed a few hits on the restrained goblin, his chains slowly began to remove itself from the goblin as Nexon could no longer keep it up for any longer. He left the rest to his more experienced partner, the chains coming back to his body and reverting to tattoos. His new objective was to rest while keep an eye on the miners as they worked until he was battle ready once more. The binder took one glance at his data infested arm and looked away, it was too much too bare. It was worse than blood. The reason was because it was fake, not the real him. Proof that's he's not in some messed up dream but actually in a virtual world where death was possible. The data disgusted Nex, it wasn't his real self. Not his real body, all just fake to him. There's no way he could adapt to living in a game like this. It all felt weird, even eating in the game was weird. Nothing felt right, just more and more worse for Nexon. The player checked on the binders, they were safe for now as Wis' handled the monster. Just looking at Wis' put a smile on his face, no matter how many times Nex messed up Wis' was also there to clean up the mess. "My hero!" The newbie joked, chuckling a little bit before squatting down to recover from the last wave of monsters. He wasn't completely sure if his partner could take on the monster by himself or not, but Nexon had trust in his ally's ability. Plus if Wis' needed help, all he had to do was call on Nexon to assist. It's almost like Wis' was carrying the entire mission, doing most of the work and leading it. It made Nex feel safe that he partied up with a partner of his caliber. "Call on me when you need help, I got you. I'll stay back and make sure nothing harms the miners. We're almost there, let's just keeping pushing! I believe in you!" Motivation also helped Nexon with his daily tasks, so not why use it to help others. The monster was storng, but Nex still believed Wis' could take it on and beat it. After all, it was just a computer. Wis' had the human mind at his disposal, that's the biggest advantage eve th player had against NPCs. The binder stood up once more to push closer toward the miners to make sure they stay in range of his chains. It was good to always be caution of missions. There's no way he would let Wis' down. Dragging Wis' down with him in failure was far more worse than dying, Wis' doesn't deserve to lose because of Nex. [/div]

| I press the button and[break]it bursts into life[break]This time nothing will escape my sight |
Wisteria knew the other needed a break and he was fine to take over for a little while. Wist didn't necessarily need to kill the creature on his own, he just needed to distract it. After all - the quest wasn't to kill the monsters it was to protect the miners, and that's all they had to do. If they stalled long enough Wist wondered if it wouldn't trigger any more waves. Wait, that was it!
That was the thing the had been missing here, it wasn't about defeating them in fact that was probably the trap of this mission. The more you killed the more the waves got stronger and faster, he couldn't believe he hadn't realized it yet. Giving a sly little grin Wist continued to avoid the goblin keeping its attention but it was probably a strange sight to see the other sheath his blade and just use the hilt to block any attacks and do very weak damage to the creature to make it back off for a moment.
Wist was oozing with a calm nature, but right now he felt like he could fly. "Hey I figured it out!" he called back to the other who had told him to call if he needed help. "I got this for a bit longer but I figured out what we have to do. The quest isn't about defeating the monsters, its about keeping the miners safe! We don't have to kill them, I think killing them is a trap. It brings more monsters and more waves, let's just hold this guy for a while and see if any waves come." he said.
It was risky, if more waves came it would be more for them to take out - but if he was right all they had to do was dance around with this guy until the timer ran out. "You okay with trying out my plan? It could mean that we have more monsters to deal with later - but if I'm right we could be walking right into a trap that not only makes us fail, but that we could end up losing our lives over." he said looking back to the other after he had pushed the goblin back off of him again.
He wanted to make sure the other agreed before going with such a risky plan.
