Wist hadn't managed to get far into the ruins before something interesting did seem to happen. While he had managed to knock of a few monsters and add some to his collection, it seemed that no one really had appeared out here. The white haired attacker wondered if he was the only one that would come this far out in a death game - but that couldn't be right. There had to be some people that were willing to take risks and get stronger for the sake of being able to face tomorrow and to actually have a chance to get back home.

So why exactly hadn't he seen anyone? Maybe he had just come at a bad time, at least that was what he thought until a patch of shade seemed to hit him from the sun above. That was a bit strange, a random cloud? But when he looked up it wasn't a cloud at all. Moving a hand to cover his eyes he tried to see what it was. But it seemed what it was wanted to land close to him.

Out of habit Wisteria gripped his blade's hilt tighter to make sure that it wasn't a monster or something he couldn't handle. For a moment the man squinted but as it got closer there was no denying that green cursor that came with it. A player? That was the first time he had ever heard of a player actually... flying. Oh how cool that was!

Wist couldn't help as he quickly moved to where he saw her land, and she too seemed to notice him and wave her hand in greeting. Wisteria quickly closed in the rest of the way before waving his own hand. "Holy crap,
you can fly? That's so neat, is it a game thing? Or a special skill of yours?" he asked quickly before realizing how rude it must have been, and he quickly coughed into his hand to calm himself.

"Ah sorry." he said before offering a gloved hand for the other to shake. "My name is Wisteria, nice to make your acquaintance "

Thankfully despite of how much of a fool he had made himself the other player didn't seem to mind much. Maybe it was normal for people to gush over abilities such as flight - but to be fair it was a really really cool ability. The white haired attacker smiled and shook her hand when she took it glad she wasn't thinking that he was a crazy person.

"Papilion, I'll have to memorize that." he said giving a soft smile. It wouldn't take too long he hoped considering how original the name was, he would just have to say it over and over before he got it finally. When she started showing off her wings however the white haired male was instantly involved. He did his best not to reach out his hand to touch the shimmering wings as she turned to show them to him.

"They look wonderful." he said before blinking as she leaned in closer to whisper something that made his eyes widen even more. "That is so cool! I hope that one day we will be able to meet up again so that I can see what it's like then." he said that smile back on his face once more as he hoped that maybe she would think about teaming up with him once again.

Brought back to the actual subject of the ruins Wist glanced around letting his yellow orbs scan the area once again. "Sadly nothing yet, but it would be fun to have someone to travel with if you wouldn't mind me as a partner. I'm a front lines kinda guy so support would be lovely." he said giving another one of those charming smiles he was good at. After all, the man was very good at making friends with others even if he wasn't always the most trustworthy person.

"Do you need help leveling up by the way? I don't mind helping out if you want, I'm really just here to look for new monsters to tame. I'm a beast tamer so when I destroy monsters I add them to my summoning collection. So after I do that I don't mind taking them down most of their health and letting you have the final kill." he said with a smile. After all he was already level two and a support would have a harder time leveling up than someone like him.

Wist couldn't help but smile when she said that he would be the first to know. Even if she didn't mean it or forgot about him later it was still nice to hear. Wist had never really considered himself as someone that would be on the first of anyone's list. It made him happy even if it didn't happen in the end, so for now he would pretend that she meant it.

What surprised him however was her suddenly talking about friend requesting him and his eyes widened ever so slightly. It was embarrassing but she was actually the first that he would actually friend via the system, everyone else simply had his contact from memorizing player names. So when the notification came he hesitated for a moment before clicking the okay button. "You're actually the first player I've friended so it's a little new to me." he admitted rubbing the back of his head.

It was nice that he wasn't the only one that liked working in groups and hearing her say she did too made him smile ever so slightly. "It makes it better when you can work together. It's also safer in a game like this.. where any moment could be your last." he hadn't really meant to go dark but hey these things tended to happen in a death game. One could never truly let go of the reality of what would happen if your lifebar hit zero.

Wist couldn't help but feel happy around her and it was easy to give smiles. "Yeah, don't worry about it. I just want to gather some monsters so once I tame all the ones around here I don't mind switching out with you. It's better to work together anyway. Don't worry, I'll bail you out if anything bad happens, I may not look it but I'm pretty strong myself." he said giving another award winning smile. Still he knew it could be stressful to be on the front lines so she could step back whenever she wanted.

With that he pulled up his own window and sent an invitation for her to party with him. It was easier to keep track of health bars that way after all. "Only three sadly - I have a goblin, a bat and a wolf." he said grinning some. "I'm hoping to catch some desert dwelling monsters out here." he said nodding a bit as yellow orbs glanced around the ruins. "Guess we will find out right?" he said wit ha small laugh before rubbing his head again.

"I appreciate that, so you ready to head inside?"

Wist was thankful once again to her understanding nature that he wasn't one that normally friended a lot and it was strange to him. "Yeah, I'm pretty appreciative that it's you as well." he said with a small smile to show he really was grateful to the other even if they hadn't really known each other all that long yet. Wist was glad to actually have someone on his friend list for once because then he wouldn't have to memorize her contact info, even if he probably would anyway.

"Hmm?" the white haired attacker was broken out of his trance by the words that came from her after a moment about not letting him down. He quickly shook his head and gave a soft smile. "You won't let me down, I'm sure of it. You'll be a good partner to have, the way we already get along is enough to tell me that." he said hoping to encourage her to think better of herself. Wist didn't like the idea of someone so nice and so willing to befriend him thinking poorly of herself after all.

Wist couldn't help it though and as she asked about it he suddenly started to laugh, even grabbing his stomach to hold back some of the laughter that came before finally calming down and wiping any tears that had come to his eyes. " No- No Nothing like that They just come when I summmon them, no feeding or anything like that involved." he said a bright smile on his face now for more than one reason. Wist couldn't remember the last time he had laughed so hard and so openly after all.

"I think so too, I'd like to gain as many as I can so that I can be useful to those I work with. I really don't want to be a disappointment to others after all." he said this time it was almost a sad and weary smile that was on his face before he shook his head to quickly throw it off. "Yeah, Adventure sounds nice" he said before heading inside the ruins and down a long passage.

As they moved inside the room a wider more open area appeared and a couple different doors seemed to surround them. "Well this is fun, which one you want?" he asked. There was one forward, to the right and to the left.

Wist could only agree that they would have a good time together, because it was easy to get along with the other player - death game or no. It was nice to have someone that would laugh with you and smile and not treat this game like it was the end of their lives. There was always a chance to live on and that was exactly what Wisteria was going to do. A day in here wasn't lost, no Wisteria had come to enjoy and love Broken War, even if it was a place that had become an oppression for almost everyone else.

Once inside the ruins however, it seemed like things weren't going to be as easy as one would think, and after entering the large run down room it looked like three different doors awaited them. Wist was always one to ask what someone else thought and take both opinions. So he patiently waited for her to choose which door she would most likely want to go through. It didn't take long however for her to say that she would prefer the straight path.

"Sounds good to me." he said walking forward and applying his strength to the door to open it. A small grunt came as he managed to open it completely and enter the dusty room. What awaited them however was a group of skorpion like monsters that had seemed to notice them upon opening the door. "Welp, that's a new monster alright." Wist commented drawing his blade. He didn't necessarily need the attack boost, but one particular monster would be useful.

"Call of Summoning." he said as glyphs appeared around his hands and feet as a bat he had mentioned earlier appeared. It was bigger than normal bats and was probably about the size as a normal human head as it started flapping around the area. There was always one move he could use if the going got tough. "You okay to fight these guys with me? It looks like five of them, shouldn't be a huge deal, just watch out for the stingers." he said

Wist was a really relaxed kinda guy, and really whatever she wanted to do he would be okay with. So when the door opened to reveal skorpions he was completely ready to take the suckers down as they didn't look that strong. It really made him happy that she was so willing to fight at his side, but his yellow orbs blinked slowly as it seemed that she had something else up her sleeve. With no hesitation the attacker moved to the side waving his free hand as if he was ushering her to do what she wanted first.

Wisteria watched in awe as her bright wings spread out and scales started flying towards the skorpions. Wist peeked around the other, careful of the scales, to watch as the skorpions flat out fell asleep that quickly. Oh now that was fun, even his bat seemed to flap its wings as if it was showing off that it had some too. "That's pretty bad ass." he said as she gave him the victory sign.

"That sounds like a good plan to me, If you want I can kill one real quick and contract it then I can do heavy damage to the others so you can finish them off." he said with a smile. With that said Wist moved right into a more battle ready stance and moved to the closest one as his bat swooped in right after Wist landed a deep blow into the back of the creature the bat did some damage as well and with the quick strikes the creatures health bar crept right into zero as Wist waited no time.

Glyphs formed his hands and feet and where the monster was forming a contract with the creature before it faded away and another monster was added to his collection. "Awesome, it will be interesting to see what it can do later." he said nodding some before looking back at Pap now. "If you're ready to do final attacks I'll do deep hits now, and you can go right behind me and finish them off. " he said waiting till she gave the word she was ready.

Only then did he ready himself before rushing forward at a much quicker speed, at his top speed he looked more like a flash of light rather than an actual normal rushing player. He had spent a lot of time raising his speed parameter so that he could move faster than most of the things he faced to do multiple attacks before they could strike once. Much like he said, he went first take the other four down to an inch or two of health before moving to the next all but expecting her to be right on his tail to finish them off.
