Another screech, another stop. This was becoming more of a habit everyday as the speedster found himself stopping more than usual. Maybe it was the change of scenery, a change of pace from keeping safe in the sidelines. Maybe it was the way he carried himself now, the determination or confidence that landed him in some strange corner far on the outskirts of the city. Greatness was thrusted upon heroes, but what about those who sought glory all on their own and beyond their own pride. Redline's heels spawned a burn mark that pressed against the brick road he paused on. His pause was only feet away from the notorious bridge of the city, or the 'troll bridge' he often heard it as. It was renown for the same piece in its name, the troll that resided underneath. The attacker's fingers tingled at his own imagination of the green-colored beast. Until his other party member arrived, the speedster would keep his thirty foot distance from the bridge. There wasn't anyone around to judge him otherwise.

as soon as the invitation arrived, the defender was off. he had to be anywhere the call of evil gathered, as quickly as he could. Arriving not so long after the one, the only, super sonic speedster, who had sent the quest invitation, Virtue would salute him.
"Comrade! Let us unite our powers to defeat the evil that lies in wait beneath the bridge, which is only," pausing to check his mini-map for a brief second, he would continue, the previous tone he had booming as he did, "30 feet away from our current location. Time is of the essence and for each moment we stay here and babble along, the more time that creature has to cause chaos!"
After he spoke, he would start to run forward, a tome in one hand as his feet kicked up rubble that led down the path to the bridge over yonder. The defender was ready to do his job, hoping the attacker was in tow.

Stopped in his own tracks, Redline's mind could only wander at the babble that spouted from his own teammate's throat. Was this guy serious? Did he really believe in all this fantasy bullshit? Maybe it was the route to go. Blend into the world before it took you under. Get busy living or get busy dying. Spiky red-colored hair bobbled along with the Heavenly's call to battle, not even speaking a single word in response. Fortunately for the both of them, Redline would play hero against the villain that was the defender's blindness. “Wait a second!” He spun his feet against the brick and shot forward like a bullet. With his heels crashing against the blow, the player would use his accelerate skill to catch up to the front of the other party member. Placing his palms forward to block his new friend, the attacker would try to enforce some needed advice. “Maybe you should sit in the back.” He spoke softly, but quickly. Using his knees to turn back around, the speedster kicked off with whatever remaining speed he had left towards the front of the bridge.

As he was stopped in his tracks, Allyn would look forward at the man. taking note of the flamboyance of his hair, he’d look him eye to eye, a sort of confused expression on his face as the speedster said he should take the lead. It was kind of a shock to him, considering usually people want the defender to go in first rather than the attacker to do so. But, as the red head took off, he’d realize that maybe it was a better idea to let him for first, he was pretty fast after all.
He’d start to walk forward, taking his time to get to the bridge, until he realized how unheroic it was to walk towards danger. So he’d kick it up to 3rd gear and run forward as fast as he could, he’s got to keep up with even the fastest if he was going to be the hero he strived to be.
