Traveling wasn't always a chore, but it was in Dione. Merciless weather had turn this place into a location of nightmares, but not like the kind you would find in Underworld. No, this was far worse. Increase cooldowns and stronger enemies made this a very special hell. With no mount, the blood-benders steps took him to a nearby settlement. His aim was straightforward and to the point, just like the norm. He planned to find a merchant of some kind, buy some typical items and beverage for the walk back. Little did he know that half the colony was in ruins.
“Whatever.” Carnage released from his lips.
The citizens were in turmoil. Few struggled to snag their belongings while others raced to get as far away as possible. Something about a powerful undead mummy. Something about it's ancient dark magic. Something about it coming here right now. Seriously, whatever. But a certain merchant refused service in until he would agree. “Fine.” Another slip from the tongue, but his hands didn't budge from his pockets. He turned towards the opening of the tent and exited.

Lithe hated the sand, it's coarse, it's rough and it gets everywhere. If he could he would stay as far away from the sand as he could, but, as the story usually goes, he somehow made it into this hellhole called dione. Aw well, might as well make the best of it.
Walking about a town that he had wandered into, he would spot someone that looked more like a regular person than an npc. With a smirk on his face he would rush to them.
"Excusez Moi! Do you know the nearest way out of this place, I seem to have taken a wrong turn and would like the quickest route out of here, if you would be so kind to help that is."
With a soft smile he would look over the man for a bit before his face sort of twisted into uncertainty. This character looked a bit sketchy and considering that this is a new place and he knows absolutely no one, it's likely that he could be jumped at any moment. He didn't want to be rude and just tell him 'nevermind' either, because then that'd give him the opportunity to take him from behind. No, he had to just tough this one out, for the better or worse.

“Are you serious?” The hemomancer started. They had just completed the bounty before. Going unrecognized was acceptable, but adding more to his list wasn't. “I'm not a map, so go find one.” Shots fired. Patience was gone like the rest of the colony. He walked past the warrior without even the simplest of glances. Hands in pockets, just like always. “These NPCs are in danger and refuse to sell anything until they're helped.” His mouth parted with the information while aimed at the man behind him.
Ahead the defender laid the roots of another sandstorm. This one was different from normal. It sparked with blue hues as bolts of electricity danced across its exterior. It must have been the mummy. Another easy smash and grab, just as the one before. If the piercer chose to follow, that was his choice. Either way, carnage continued his push forward. To any observer, the giant gale of sand appeared to swallow him whole as he forwarded his steps.

'are you serious?' he said? Had he met this man before? He couldn't recall, considering he's seen tons of faces and they all start to blur together at some point or another, considering that none of them were as important as his own, or a beautiful he would add as he thought to himself. Either way, this one didn't really seem in the mood to be bothered, but neither was he. he wanted out of this litterbox as soon as possible, the debuffs were terrible and the sand kept getting stuck in his hair. it might come out just as easily but he'll be damned if he liked it being there.
Ignoring anything else the man had to say, he would suck his teeth as he followed him, planning to give him a piece of his mind. but h he would be cut short and caught off guard as a sandstorm raged, with more than just sand within it. With his eyes wide he would go to tap the defenders shoulder with a finger, careful not to get his video game germs on his precious hands as he did.
"What is that? Why does it look like that?"
Lithe was terrified as well as confused at the sigh before him.

The gigantic undead beast had spawned, or at least shown himself to both the peircer and the hemomancer. With bandages covering his skin, the creature took started at the two with the raising of his right hand. There was no time to humor the attacker, or to answer his questions. Now it was a question of life and death, but Carnage would go unscathed by the risk. His mind only wandered on the concepts of reaching this point of existence in the first place. How could he back in a place like this, with a guy like this against a monster like this one?
Carnage's legs refused to move while his knees began to carry the brute of the weight. His hands, covered in his beginner bracers, revealed themselves to the dust of the sandstorm. They opened wide with palms facing the front of his target. The mummy's attack came crashing in one fail swoop. His elbow bent while his torn shoulder carried the force of his claw down on the attacker and defender. Carnage didn't move any further. He was ready to take the blow but also carried no protection for his ally.

And there it was, a creature wrapped in bandages and resembled a cadaver appeared from the sandstorm, hunched over as it looked to the two. Lithe would blink a bit, unsure what to do as the hand of this mummy, once man, came at them. In the heat of the moment, his body would take over for his mind as he quickly unsheathed his sword, delivering a few quick slices to the palm before backing up quickly, letting the defender get crushed as he made his own way out.
With the cut not really being needed, Lithe would just barely dodge the hand crashing down onto the two as he stood, looking at it sitting in the sand. Looking around the impact zone would would try to spot the defender in the sand that had clouded around it. Maybe, by some odd luck, he had gotten out of the way. Didn't matter to him whether or not he did though, he was alive.

Once the dust settled, if that was even possible in a sandstorm, the player remained in the same stance as before. The mummy's hands left red markers on the body, an extension to the damage dealt against his lifebar. While the defender's healthbar dropped dramatically from the blow, a red-colored substance began to decorate the air around him. It floated against the wind and sand, rotating around Carnage in a circular motion. Now that he was hit, he could finally attack.
By bending his knees and spreading out his body, the defender shifted into an attack state. With his fingers in the shapes of claws, the hemomancer struck at the air with his own hands as the blood around him reacted to the order. Two spheres of the vile fluid ripped from the center piece and acted as bullets to Carnage's movement and command. They took turns attacking the mummy, once at the torso and another an uppercut at the chin. Normal basic attacks, but with increased damage due to the lack of health.

Staring down at the defender as the cloud of sand started to dissipate, the white haired man would look down at the man with a satisfied grin. It wasn't so much the fact that he was alive that he was grinning, no, it was more the fact that he was in pain. It brought him joy to see the misery of others. He'd giggle under his breath as he on looked the defender, the smile quickly fading as he shot into the air. Aw well, he'd revel in the thought later, for now, he needed to be closer to the action, to fight as well as watch the defender get shit on more.
Slashing at the mummy's heels, he'd start to whittle it's legs down, attempting to topple the giant, maybe onto the defender, maybe elsewhere, only gravity will tell. With a final hit, it would start to fall forward, loosing it's balance, toppling forward, better watch out carnage.

Carnage hardly paid any note or mention to the attacker beside him. Little effort, little regard. He continued to lay blows into the towering zombie with every piece of his own blood. His eyes only caught a short glimpse of the hero working from the backside. With a sudden blade in a hand, the warrior cut clean through the mummy's heels. The strike sent the mummy falling forward in one single pull of gravity. Fortunately, the defender acted quickly to his own expectations. A strike of blood pressed against the creature's jaw, releasing an extra blow but also pushing him away from the Hemomancer's location altogether.
“Idiot.” He wish he could of spoken louder against the sandstorms winds.
The putrid zombie release a shriek upon impact. His heels split and peeled apart with the fall, separating the rest of his body from his feet. But the mummy wasn't one to give in. Pressing his fingers against the dunes, the mummy slid across the ground with rapid speed. He was a crawler now, and his aggro was shifted from defender to attacker. The fool brought it upon himself by striking the perfect weak spot. Carnage would wait to see how the other play would react before doing anything more.

Awaiting to see the one who had so rudely dragged him into a situation he wanted nothing to do with, get smashed by the giant, he'd sigh as his crops bared no fruit. And to make matters even more bothersome, the aggro switched from the defender to himself. Holding the rapier in front of his face as he stared down the zombie, crawling towards him, he would remain calm, his stance with both feet firmly planted into the sand. Timing it just right, the piercer would deliver a flurry of slashes to the mummy, "Non Non Non," escaping his throat as he sliced the creatures face and eyes, effectively blinding it while getting off a few basic hits.
After finishing the flurry, Lithe would bound off the zombies face, hopping onto his head as he continued to run the thin sword down the length of the mummy's back, hopping off to the side once he reached its hips. Sheathing his sword with a flamboyant flare, he would look to the defender as the mummy screamed in anguish in the background, a light smile appearing on his face.

Carnage found reassurance in the form of Lithe finishing the fight, but the game was rigged since he showed in the first place. One way, the piercer would be ripped apart. The other had him slaying the target just as he did now. Both were wins and accomplishments, and to prove his satisfaction the white-haired defender turned his back on his comrade. He sought to close the distance between him and what was left of the nearby settlement. This was all one big obstacle, and Lithe remedied it all. Too bad it would go without thanks.
Once he cleared a moment's pass, he arrived on what was left of the settlement which was now half sandy tomb. His hands had returned to their comfortable positions in his pockets, while his eyes probed the area for any survivors. There was no intention of heroics behind his crimson-colored hues. He only wanted to purchase his goods and continue his way back to the Town of Origins. With no concrete confirmation, the player let out a huge sigh before continuing past it all. He made no work towards finding those who may of made it.

his smirk would fade as the back of his partner was turn to him. I mean, he just took down this huge thing as easily as that and the only thing that the defender would do in response is walk away, not a clap, not a cheer, he wouldn't even pay him any more mind than that. It irked him.
sucking his teeth he'd follow after him, nagging behind as his eyes every so often shifted to the sandy homes. "hey, asshole, I just took down this thing while you got a free carry. the least you could do is kiss my boot and give me thanks." snapping his fingers at him as he spoke he'd raise his pitch. "Hey, can you hear me dumbass? I just killed that thing while you hung out in the back. Show a little respect."
He wasn't going to back down until he got the respek on his name he deserved. carnage

He wasn't worth the situation, the time or the cause. With his hands back to his pockets, the hemomancer kept a good distance between his back and the player behind him. His blood spun around his orbit to some sort of beat, but all be design. Drop by drop, the pieces returned to his skin as his health began to fill at the state of being out of combat. It was clean-cut, but so was the defender's cold shoulder to his comrade. Lithe didn't do anything more than he was forced to, a cause constructed by Carnage himself. If he was to take credit, it would only pay continued respect to the blood-bender.
Ignoring the attacker was somewhat of a chore, to say the least. However, it wasn't anything particularly different from the norm he committed to. His feet kept a stable pace in the destroyed village, keeping an eye out from the merchant from before. He wouldn't stop unless he found him, and if he didn't, his journey would strike forward until he met the Town of Origins. There was no way the piercer would follow him all the way there.

At this point he was steaming, not only was he being tuned out, but also ignored as if he wasn't there. This piece of work really started to get on his nerves, really, if he could have died back there it would have made this situation all the better, he wouldn't have to worry for thanks from the corpse and he’d be down by one less person he had despised.
Looking at the man once more, he’d let out a sigh, “Never have I met a ruder person in my life. If t your upbringing that has made you this way? Or maybe the groups you hung around? I wish your parents would have taught you better.”
Walking not so far behind him, he’d continue to follow, the least he could get out of him would be a way out of this desert. carnage
