raids and bounties. raids and bounties. hex had been keeping herself busy as hour after hour ticked away in this miserable game she was now forced to call home. sleep was no longer a necessity, but the woman had found herself lounging around, sometimes long enough to trick herself into thinking that maybe she had fallen asleep. then, whether it be a notification, a message, or just a random sound from the scenery of where she was resting, something always roused her and made her realize that she was still here.
as big as this game was, with as many tasks as there were to do, hex found herself repeating the same steps over and over again. little was known about how to get out of this game, but it was said that dungeons could have something to do with it. the caster wasn't sure herself, but it couldn't hurt to try something new out.
she'd messaged her guild to see if anyone wanted to join her on her little excursion from the typical, but sadly she'd been met with only three replies. the woman sat outside the door of the dungeon while she waited for the coven members to arrive, back against the wall, foot tapping impatiently.

After a long hard day of doing nothing but walking about the market district, looking for something to maybe buy and looking to see the habits of NPCs, she'd be caught off guard, startled, as she checked the time and realized that she had none left. She thought she had enough time to maybe look around at the markets and buy some new items or something but she had misjudged how much she had left.
She needed to get to her guild mate but also didn't want to not buy anything.
She would quickly start her journey by spending money here and there, not paying attention to what she brought or where she had brought it from, just kind of rushing in any vendor, shop, trader, whatever she could go into, and buy what she thought looked the nicest. After all of that she'd take her new items and stuff them into her inventory, quickly start making her way to her guild mates waiting for her at the dungeon, hoping that the rest of them had gotten there before her.

shizuka had been quiet since the last raid and not for any reason in particular. her days have simply felt much slower since then with nothing to do in her spare time. the problem was the spare time itself; there was too much of it. the woman had been restless and at the same time, felt lazy in all honesty. there was no motivation for her to exert effort for items nor for the sake of completing quests and the likes. she needed a push, a reason to do something more with her days and that opportunity had presented itself today in the form of a message from her guild leader. an excursion to the dungeon? why, of course she would love to.
the woman smiled to herself, shuffling through the snow with her weapon in hand to make her way over to the meeting place. she hummed a soft tune, taking her time to familiarize with the temperature. this would be her second time here and hopefully, not her last. "oh my, so it seems i'm the first to arrive?" shizuka greeted her guild leader with a bow, noticing the girl's impatience. "let's hope the rest arrive in a timely manner, hm?" shizuka's gaze fell on a familiar thin figure approaching from a distance. "ara, ara, another?"

Equipment? Check.
Patience? Check.
Party invite? Ready to be accepted when it popped up.
With a final breath, Magicman found he couldn't push it away any longer. As much as he could endure his guildmates - he does care about them but sometimes, sometimes they make him want to bash his head against the wall because he feels old - he was quite wound up lately. The raids and the bounties that he had been doing have been exhausting in their own ways. Mainly because he had to deal with people other then said guildmates and that was always a tax on his limited reserves of social interactivity. And honestly, he still felt frustrated with a few things - mainly because frustrated seemed to be a state of life for him at this point.
But the message had gone out for help, and he replied that he would without a second thought. After all, his guildies asked for help, and he would provide it. It was his duty, his desire, and he would not shirk it for anything else. With everything set up, the male twirled, his cape billowing just the way he likes it. It was exactly how he pictured capes should move when someone was on a mission, with a bit of Professor Snape's flair into it. But if anyone would call him on it, well he'd deny it because there was no way he was a Harry Potter nerd. He'd rather die then admit such a thing.
And it was with this gait that he arrived at the scene. Two figures were already there - the guild leader and well... her. They were only missing one, but even as he strode to the group, said missing member would be arriving as well. Almost as if he planned it - which he did not but he would take the credit anyways - the male had arrived at the exact time he was needed, not a moment earlier and not a moment later. After all, mages - even though it's supposed to be wizards, but ab libbing is important to keep things relevant - were never late, only arriving when they precisely meant to. Or something like that, should be the quote. Yet that mattered not, because his eyes took in his guild mates as he stood there, waiting.
He wouldn't speak just yet, because he had no need to.
