the world begins again Naomi's eyebrows went up as Blank spoke to the NPCs. He was really getting into his role, wasn't he? She didn't know how well he did in battle, so she couldn't tell if he was being arrogant or factual. Whatever the answer to that was, it would be entertaining to watch this play out. So it was quite the letdown when nearly all the NPCs shrank back from Blank, and the only one who managed to hold his ground and tried to attack was beaten in an instant. When the white haired player turned to look at her, she giggled and lifted a thumbs up. While there wasn't much to see in that fight, she did sense that the speed of that battle was enough to prove Blank's skills. She glanced back at the NPCs, most of whom looked ready to give up. "I'm still waiting for my knight in shining armor to save me," she called out to them. "I wasn't lying when I said I would give a kiss to the first one to get to me." A sly smile and a wink followed after that. blank

"Maybe if you all try attacking me at once, it'll be more of a challenge."Blank wasn't bored. Not by a long shot but he did actually want this to be a challenge. At his suggestion, the rest of the trainees seemed to mull it over and whisper among themselves. The one that he knocked down was at the core of the group and glared at Blank every time their eyes met. While they talked among themselves, he was growing antsy and approached with a little hum. He didn't want to boast his strength. He didn't want to hurt their pride but he did want to do something else that would make him out to be the real villain in their eyes. Once they seemed to approve their plan, they all rushed him and Blank let out a whistle. It came in onslaughts. When he parried one of them, he had to strike at the next. Ducking and dodging blows but being hit a few times was growing increasingly annoying. It was only when one of the trainees nearly punched him in the face that it grew to be enough. Blank raised his knee and hit one of them in the lower back, using his sword to knock another on the head. Once they fell, he turned his attention to the other three and continued hitting and dodging. HIs breath was growing labored. They were actually pretty good but as he knocked two of the other trainees out with the hilt of his sword, he figured they weren't good enough. The last standing was the one that'd given him so much trouble and while he was distracted, the guy made his way to the end of the maze. Using your teammates as a way to make your escape.He wasn't sure whether to be proud or annoyed. Nonetheless, he chased after him and when he was close enough, kicked him in the back. He fell to the groudn with a thud and groaned only to whine and wiggle as Blank tapped his sore lower back with the hilt of his sword. "That was dirty and underhanded," he said. "Good in a real fight but not in the long run."WIth that being said, he stepped out of the maze and sheathed his sword. "By the way," he said to Papilion. "You said whoever makes it out of the maze would receive a kiss, well. I walked into the maze and I came out of it."He gave her a little smile, tilting his head. "So I should be the one to get a kiss, right?"A collective gasp and a few groans of dismay came from the trainees but all was fair in love and war. papilion

the world begins again Oh dear, Naomi wasn't sure if goading the men to attack all at once was such a bright idea. He was just one man, and there were several of them. From her viewpoint, it was completely one-sided. Still, she did think about how dull the fights had been so far. This will certainly make it interesting. The NPCs seemed to finally come to an agreement as they came at Blank all at the same time. Naomi was at the edge of her figurative seat, holding her breath as she watch the white haired player take them down one by one. It was a sight to behold, especially since she hadn't been so confident of his success. Now she was cheering the underdog on, wincing when someone almost landed a hit on him. That wasn't enough to take Blank down though, and he dealt with the offender and went on with business as usual. Since she was standing outside the fight and could see everything, she noticed how that specific NPC who stood out from the beginning began sneaking past the chaos, towards the end of the maze. She tilted her head and hummed in approval. That is, until Blank took notice and dealt with him as well. Too bad. She clapped as Blank began walking towards her, then raised an eyebrow when he asked for a kiss. Shaking her head, she put her hands on her hips as she smirked at him. "I don't think the villain should get a kiss for beating down heroes." Still, she began walking towards him, chuckling as she placed both hands on his shoulder. "But I suppose you did impress me with your combat skills." She gave an exaggerated sigh, then leaned closer and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. When she pulled back, it was with an impish grin on her face. "I never said where I was going to kiss did I?"blank

He couldn't say that it didn't feel good to beat someone else up. In truth, he probably should've felt bad about it. But there was no shame in getting a kiss from a pretty girl. Even if it was on the cheek to which most of the cadets groaned as they must've expected something more. He chuckled and shook his head before a menu opened up nearest to them. He raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, that was simple."CONGRATULATIONS!You have completed the quest [ MILITARY TRAINING]! REWARDS- Soldier's shoulderguard ( armor crafting material )
"We were supposed to be teaching them how to fight, but I guess we taught them the most important lesson of all."Blank leaned closer to press a kiss to her cheek. It was short and sweet but there. "Never underestimate a pretty face."He closed the window and stretched. It'd been a long day and they set up all of this equipment. "Do you want to keep going or should we let them rest?"papilion

the world begins again Naomi chuckled along with Blank, grinning cheekily at the NPCs who looked sorely disappointed by the quick show of her reward. Perverts. She was never going to do that in public, so they would have to find their kinks elsewhere. Then the menu appeared to notify them of the quest completion. Naomi blinked in surprise. They barely taught the townsfolk anything, and even gave them a lot of bruises to groan over for the next few days. While she wasn't going to complain or reject the rewards, how exactly did they get the goal? Blank seemed to have an idea as he spoke about being able to teach NPCs 'the most important lesson of all'. Naomi glanced at him and tilted her head to the side. "And that is?"His answer came in the form of a kiss to her cheek, quick and unexpected. A hand went up to touch the spot where he'd attacked, as she stared at him in stunned silence. She wasn't used to men making such bold moves on her, and felt the heat rise to her cheeks at the unfamiliarity of it all. When he spoke again, asking her if she wanted to continue, she didn't respond immediately as she calmed her flustered self down first. It wasn't until the flush on her cheeks faded that she felt herself back to normal. "Um...yeah, I don't mind if we keep going. It's up to you." Okay so she still wasn't completely recovered from his surprise attack. But she would like to hang out with the other player a bit more. Kiss aside, he was a reliable person, with the skills to back it up. blank
