Still, it wasn't easy fighting against the gargoyle's attempt to take to the skies. The talons that gripped tightly around her wrists were digging in the longer she struggled. At least, this bought her teammates some openings to work off of and that was enough to justify her suffering. If only it's fucking wings would break off already!
Anya could feel herself losing ground in her fight now as the creature's desperation grew. She was being dragged back again! Even with all her strength relocated to her legs, it didn't stop it from accelerating now. Fucking hell. She was beginning to lose touch with the ground, her feet just leaving it. God, not even her big ego-inflated head could anchor it.

Sure it was doing damage but it wasn't doing enough damage to actually break the damned things wing. With a little smirk though Queen would finally notice what kind of weapon skadi was fighting with, not that there was anything wrong with it of course. She just practiced fencing back in the real world, her class even had the option to start with a rapier of her own.
However as the Gargoyle tried its best to start flying up again with Anya, Queen would snap out of her little moment of happy i miss the real world thoughts and charge back in at the Gargoyle. The blue haired girl wasn't exactly the tallest person in the world, around five feet and another five inches tall. So she couldn't just let it get up before she could hit it. Focusing on the left wing some more Queen would start to swing upwards at the Gargoyle's wing with both of her blades still glowing blue, doing her best to try to shatter the wing.

Unfortunately, that was not something the Vanadis class came equipped to use. In most cases, she preferred it that way; guns made short work of otherwise challenging enemies, but at this point the gargoyle was more tedious than challenging. When Queen jumped up to join in on the uncoordinated attack, Skadi let out a hiss. Still, the additional force to the wing seemed to work, and she could see the stone around the wing start to crack like ice. "Get ready!" She shouted, primarily for Seneca's sake so that she wouldn't get crushed in the fall that was coming. Driving her rapier home into a crackle, she grinned as she felt the thing start to break apart under the applied pressure added to Queen's hard work. Finally, they were going to have this bastard where they wanted him. That was, on the ground. "Now!" She ordered as the wing began to fall, pushing her weight suddenly towards the remaining one that flapped wildly, shifting the weight suddenly that way as opposed towards either Queen or Seneca as the gargoyle began to drop like the rock that it was. She wasn't worried, even for a second, for either the fall damage or the creature's weight. She was going to be fine, because the creature was within her realm of control now. She was getting whisked away by a piece of flying stone and all her teammates had to do was break it. She honestly couldn't understand what was taking them so long. Just how durable could stone possibly be?
The captive Slayer looked at both women with displeasure as she waited patiently. Queen had taken the lead, giving her best attempt at smashing up a wing with both her blades. Anya couldn't exactly see her teammates from where she was held, but the sounds were enough to assure her that they were trying. Skadi didn't disappoint when she had successfully taken out a wing shortly after Queen's attempt, throwing the gargoyle off balance. With one wing left there was no way for it to keep steady with the sudden addition of Skadi's weight.
A crash was the last thing she had heard when she came down with it. She couldn't tell if it was luck or within Skadi's calculations that had saved her from being crushed under it. The Slayer groaned, pushing herself up to inspect the scrapes on her right arm before glancing at the fallen gargoyle. It laid there pitifully on it's side having taken the fall on it's last wing. Said wing was nothing but rubble now.
It looked vulnerable like a bird with clipped wings. Anya approached it with the intention to destroy it, but as she got closer it moved away from her. Unable to fly, Fornar resorted to crawling away towards the manor at impressive speeds. It honestly left her dumbfounded. She was pretty damn happy that the thing couldn't fly anymore at all. Plus on top of the wing being gone it just got the hell beaten out of it in the process of getting its wing destroyed, she honestly didn't think the thing could last any longer.
Once the other blue haired woman in their group yelled out something about now Queen would once again just react on instinct. Noticing that she was shifting her weight to move the gargoyle away from the rest of them as it fell. Reaching a hand out she'd just give the Gargoyle a little push in the direction Skadi was trying to take it, before doing her best to get out of the way.
Covering up her face with one arm as the Gargoyle crashed down into the ground Queen had prepared herself for a bunch of dust to kick up or debris to come flying her way. But it just simply never did. Lowering her arm back down to her side the woman was greeted with the site of the Gargoyle actually trying to crawl away from the person it tried to drag off into the sky oh so many times. Though even if the gargoyle crawled away at an impressive speed, speed was one of the things that Queen's class focused on.
Starting to run over to the Gargoyle Queen was quickly right behind it, running as quickly as she could to get around in front of the gargoyle. She was honestly so bothered with running that she didn't bother to notice where Skadi had went off to after the impact, for all she knew the defender could of still been on top of the crawling gargoyle. Coming to a stop in front of the gargoyle with her back towards the crawling beast she'd simply stand there to try to stop the things attempt to get away. She felt like someone else deserved to get the final hit on the damned thing.

It took long enough for her to recover for the creature to come away, leaving a wing behind in her hands and underneath her to scatter into a mass of pixels. She wondered, briefly, if that would be what it looked like if she died here. Just as soon as she saw Queen racing after the crawling monster, however, Skadi rolled over onto her feet. There was no time to hesitate, and she broke out into her frost stride to race after the monster. Even though Queen had cut the beast off somehow, Skadi drove the point home by crashing into it, icicles spearing up through the monster at the point of contact. Fornar's health fell drastically low and Skadi took a step back, glancing sharply towards the woman left behind. "Now is the time to strike!"Of course, her weapon in hand, she would finish it if the other two did not. She lunged, striking the monster in front of her as she moved around to also place herself between the gargoyle and his escape. The damn thing was cornered by both players leaving the final attack to her. "Oh, you're all so kind," Anya cackled taking her sweet time to stroll over to the gargoyle. Instead of finishing it quickly, she decided to have a little fun with it. "Where do you think you're going, punk?" she asked, putting on her best impression of a mafioso. To add onto the intimidation factor, Anya stomped her foot down right next to it's giant stone head, threatening to smash it.
The gargoyle yelped as it shrank back, choosing to be destroyed by Skadi instead, clawing at the ground before her. Anya cut off the creature with the swing of her sword, flashing a toothy grin. To anyone familiar with swords it was probably a bad idea to use one as a bat. To Anya, however, it felt fitting to swing the weapon as a club. Bringing her arm back, Anya positioned herself right next to Fornar's head.
"Hey, batter, batter, batter up! Annnnnddddddd SWING!"
The head of Fornar broke off cleanly from the immense blow that Anya dealt. Rather than disappearing into the distance, the creature's head flew through the manor's window completely smashing it. Anya winced briefly then shrugged. "Well, shit. I was trying to hit a homerun there," she said with a snort. Yeah, she couldn't aim for shit. Turning around just in time to see the ice from Skadi's attack erupt up at the gargoyle. The sudden sight of the ice attack made her jump a bit in surprise, catching her off guard. Well it looked like she wasn't the only one who could catch up to the Gargoyle after all.
However as she stood there and waited for Skadi to deliver the final hit, it just simply never came. Figuring that they were just saving the gargoyle for Anya to finish off the stone creature. Once she got there and winded up to send the gargoyle's head flying Queen would go to say something for a moment. Probably something about how thats probably not how a sword should be used, though she was caught off as the Gargoyle's head was smashed into pieces.
As a little notification popped up on her hud about the bounty being complete and the rewards going to her inventory Queen just shrugged her shoulders a little bit. Un-equipping her weapons she stood there for a moment before simply blurting out "That was kinda fun, we should do that again sometime."

Still, even if it resulted in vandalism, it did get the job done. Skadi got the alert that the bounty had been completed moments after the gargoyle burst into pixels, and she sheathed her weapon without much thought before staring flatly at the two other women. Queen said something about it being fun, and while she wasn't certain she returned the sentiment, it had been a challenge. If the woman really wanted to try this again, then - Skadi considered it for a moment with a long look at Seneca, before deciding that the worst that would happen would be a "no." "I've been considering founding a guild, to build a community strong enough to protect each other and get out of here. Would either of you be interested?" She asked, after glancing at the spot where the gargoyle had been. The bounty itself had been a hot mess, but then it hadn't gone quite as badly as she'd half expected it to. She had to start somewhere after all. And get a bow. That went on the checklist, too.
