USED ITEMS: demonite plate ITEM NAME: Lilith's Embrace ITEM TYPE: armor RARITY: epic OBTAINED FROM: CRAFTING 06/14 DESCRIPTION: a dress crafted from the finest materials found in the underworld, including a rare dark metal excavated from the tomb of the late queen. when equipped, half the player's hair is styled back into a braided half-bun with the rest of their hair flowing down to give a more elegant appearance. in addition to that, the armor comes with two accessories made from the excess scraps of ingot: a masquerade mask that covers the right side of the face and a choker fashioned with the late queen's prized jewel. as for the dress itself, it is decorated in sculpted flowers made out of the demonite material, wrapping around the main body and once around both sleeves. the look is finished with an impractical pair of stylish open-toed heels with the straps wrapped around the ankles for a more secure fit. whether in or out of combat, if the player is on the move, their steps have an added aesthetic effect, leaving a trail of black wisps in their wake for a split second.
Despite it's appearance, the dress does serve as effective armor for the player, providing them with extra defensive benefits in exchange for their mobility. They gain resistances against bleeding, life steal, and poisons while also boasting higher defensive stats around crowds of monsters. They are immune to attacks that will knock them down, but not back. If attacked, the damage will be reflected back to the one who had launched the attack, setting their enemies up in flames for a second to indicate the damage dealt. The higher the damage, the more intense the flames appear. There is no burn status associated with this as it is merely a visual for the effect.
