WORDS TAGS NOTES LYRICS W/E ❀ | There were many things in this world that the man didn't quite understand. He didn't understand how they got there; He didn't understand why they were there. The thought of it was above his pay grade and while there were many players that wanted to known these things. To be honest - for once in his life - He didn't much care. His interest was piqued, but even more so than that he loved the idea of this world. It was intoxicating to think that the troubles of the world before were gone and all they needed to do was play.
Even still, there wasn't going to be any playing even he didn't find a way to level and find the gear to survive. He still understood the severity of the situation that they were all in. He was just willing to ignore it because, have you seen this world?
Taking a moment to compose himself, he started wandering around the town noticing the differences between NPC and Players. This was the first time he had really noticed, but there were so many people here. Could it have really been this packed from the start? If he hadn't been as out-going as he had been from the real world, this may have actually been overwhelming for the young adult.
It hadn't been long after he started his trek through the starting town that he found his way into the town square. Players scurrying around, confused and terrified. Some were calmer than that, but there were so many that couldn't seem to wrap their head around what this meant for their life. perhaps it was shock. He stopped, sitting on a bench nearby scanning the area. He wasn't nervous, but he wasn't going to just talk to anybody...there was certainly a 'type'. He didn't mind the long game, if it meant gaining a real advantage.
Then again, finding a beauty wouldn't be so bad either. He snickered to himself leaning forward, placing one hand under his chin simply watching.

▲ Was today the day that his life fell apart to the hand of an uncertain fate? Perhaps it was now that Dem-o-Nix was ready to fall to his knees and give up hope. It really wasn't that kind of day. Standing there in his starter gear, the defender watched as people showed every sort of sign indicating their fears. The fear of death or the anxiety of being stranded. To Dem-o-Nix it wasn't going to get to him. The man was built strong and sturdy - mentally and physically. Being a full-grown adult rather than a weak-willed teenager or young adult like most of the player-base gave him that advantage. Never will anyone catch Dem-o-Nix acting cowardly or afraid. Of course there was worry however. It was not ideal to have your psyche permanently fixed to a computer server. Crying and running around like a chicken with their head cut-off won't help the situation though. Scouting the players and NPC's, Dem-o-Nix found a single figure sitting down on. The man seemed mostly unfazed by the recent events. From the older man's point of view, it was if they were not interested. Maybe even bored. "Ain't this a tough spot?" Dem-o-Nix said calmly while approaching the other player. He stood there in generic beginner garb with a weak-looking greatsword strapped to his back. "Can't say that I ain't worried a little. But the more I watch em' the more I want to shake my head in disappointment. You look like your holding up alright though."MADE BY VEL OF GS

| It hadn't been very long, probably twenty or thirty minutes since he had found a a nice spot in the center of the tower. Despite the relatively short time it had felt like hours passing by. Tossing and turning on the inside, he could almost feel his skin crawling with anticipation. And yet, he stayed vigilant. It was only a matter of time someone of interest wandered their way over toward Artemis.
Then, as if his prayers had been answered from the digital gods above Artemis turned toward the sound. He was a large man, older too. Artemis wasn't a short man, standing just over six foot five inches, but this man was...built. Of course that didn't so much matter in this world, but if this man wanted too, he could probably scare some of the younger players into doing what he wanted simply because of that. Even still, Artemis wasn't one too take things at face value.
"Yeah, some of the players here seem almost...apathetic." He started, standing and offering a hand to the other man. "Artemis. Pleasure." His eyes met the other mans for a moment longer before shrugging and pointing to the other players with his free hand. "To them, they're trapped away from their families and they don't know if they'll ever see them again." He then pointed to himself with his thumb with the same hand. "As for me...this is just another challenge to be met."
"I don't scare easy, and this is a game meant to be played." His eyes returned to the elder man. "What about you? Worried at all?"

▲ The kid was younger than Dem-o-Nix, the man could tell just by the face and style he carried himself in. At that point Dem could tell this stranger was a good deal taller than most other players in this world. However their forms offered a unique balance. One was tall and young, the other built but older. Not total opposites; but just far enough away to make it noticeable. For a moment Dem-o-Nix kept his hands crossed while the two started their conversation. Dem would look over to the players. Artemis called them apathetic. But honestly they seemed just regular old pathetic. So much so that Dem-o-Nix took in a deep breath and sighed before glancing back to the kid. "Greek-muse got to you huh?" A quick chuckle rolled up his throat as their hands clasped. "Dem o' Nix. Like wise." Interlocking eyes and hands, Dem-o-Nix could tell that there was an energy around Artemis that was unlike the others. A cool aura that represented his collectives. Was it his normal demeanor, or was he just standing out from the crowd? Taking his hand back, Dem crossed them against his chest once more. He stood there beside Artemis with a glare in his red eyes aimed towards the crowd. For a moment the man stood there in silence as he thought about Artemis' words. Thinking they were pathetic was one thing but Dem understood why these people felt that way. Mentally they were weak. There lives most likely didn't train them for this moment, this odd and bizarre situation. "I can understand them." Dem-o-Nix replied finally to Artemis' question. "To me this whole situation is nothing more than a job I gotta finish. In a way a quest; survive. You know how at the end of a military shooter, they might have a hoard mode just before the end of the campaign? It is something similar to that. We just gotta survive everything that is going to come our way.""I won't stand here and tell you some bullshit backstory. I ain't some world-class gamer, developer, or whatever. I ain't all that amazing. I have been casual since my teen years." An exaggerated sigh would escape into the digital air before Dem-o-Nix rolled his eyes upward. "Though I am going to miss my cig's. Am I worried? Hell yeah. Am I going to cry about it and go through some character arc to overcome it? Hell no. I'm going to get my job done, make some loot, and try to make my stay as productive and lucrative as possible. You know what I mean Artemis?"

[nospaces] [attr="class","biggieno"] [attr="class","textieno"] Town of BeginningsThe Town of Origins. The literal starting point of BWO. It felt like it had been a while since Usagi had stepped back into this place, and yet at the same time, it didn't. Perhaps that was his sense of time feeling off since the players had become trapped within this world? Or maybe his memory was starting to prove to not be as good as it used to be? Either way, it was ultimately irrelevant. Right now, he needed some time in a more "normal" setting. Ever since his awakening in the Sacred Grove, and having that strange run-in with the dumb animal girl and the bluebell-haired guy, he'd felt a little more on-edge than he'd care to admit. So his solution? Go rooftop jumping in the Town of Origins. With the White Rabbit's high stats in speed, it expanded his overall agility greatly, so he could actually do things as such with relative ease.[break][break] From rooftop to rooftop, it felt as though he were gliding through the air with how nimble and light his body was, the wind blowing against his face and hair rendering him unable to give a care in the world. He felt at peace. Comfortable. Free. However, his daydreaming while roof hopping landed him in a rather awkward situation. He felt his foot land on something, but it wasn't quite as solid as the concrete roofs he'd been hopping upon. The thing beneath his foot... felt an awful lot like someone's head. As a matter of fact, upon looking down beneath him, he'd find that he had indeed, landed upon someone's head - grey-ish white hair being what met his electric blue eyes. A couple blinks of the eye before he hopped down from the unintended perch down to the ground. Looking up, this guy was just a touch taller than himself. However, a blonde guy nearby proved to be much taller than most people Usagi had ever seen in-game. It was actually somewhat astonishing. However, before he got lost in the giant of a blonde guy, he turned to the white-haired man and gave the slightest bow of his head. [break][break] "Sorry about that..." In his head, he had spoken in his native tongue of Japanese. However, with the game's built-in language filter feature, language barriers were universally made out to whatever it was your native tongue was, so it was basically like having subtitles or automatic dubbing. With his stoic expression, it made it a little hard to tell whether or not he was being genuine with his apology, but that didn't really matter. With his apology given - accepted or no, he turned his gaze up at the blonde man, pointing at him as he made his inquiry.[break][break] "So... do my eyes deceive... or are you just freaking huge...?"[attr="class","iconieno"] [newclass=.biggieno]margin-left:-300px;[/newclass] [newclass=.textieno]margin-top:-425px;margin-bottom:150px;width:300px;height:400px;padding:10px;background-color:#fff;border:solid 1px #b7b7b7;color:#939393;text-align:justify;overflow:auto;margin-left:610px;font:11px calibri;[/newclass] [newclass=.textieno::-webkit-scrollbar]width:10px;background:#fff;[/newclass] [newclass=.textieno::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:#b7b7b7;border:2px solid #fff;[/newclass] [newclass=.iconieno]margin-top:-240px;margin-left:-220px;margin-bottom:50px;[/newclass] [newclass=.tagsieno]font:11px calibri;color:#b7b7b7;margin-top:-75px;margin-left:-75px;margin-bottom:40px;[/newclass]
