...And a wild ride she got. A pained gurgle bubbled up from the lizard's mouth a split second before a harsh rasping that seemed to be screaming or at least some kind of vocalization exploded from the creature's mouth. The cave shook violently as it slammed into the walls and bucked in a desperate need to get the strange girl off its back and to free it's throat from the strange wrapping she had put upon it. Drakka, meanwhile, sniffed as her HP skyrocketed back up. Of course this girl would heal her in the weirdest ways, she just looked like that type of person, of course she'd do that. A shadow by her side emerged and shook itself in preparation for battle, not wasting any time and nipping at the lizard's legs, adding to the already astounding rate of damage being done to the beast. Drakka wasn't far behind, the moment she felt her HP was back into the safe zone, she rushed forward in another reckless charge. Somehow, the lizard contained enough reason to at least try and raise its front claws, clearly understanding what Drakka intended to do to it...not that it did anything. Drakka crunched it's front claw, and the beast whipped it's body back mightily, no doubt sending Dollie all over the place yet driving the string deeper into its throat. The Shadow Packmate pulled one of its back legs backward, and the lizard started to topple. Hastily, Drakka snapped at its head and started to pull...and it was over, torn apart by the two girl's combined might. Drakka stumbled away, puffing for breath, " G-good one...we got to get out of here...before another spawns.DOLLIE

Soon, death dealt it's hand. The creature she had leaped on was struggling. Buckling wildly, the girl called upon her limited mechanical bull in the bar riding experience into play. Holding on for dear life, she grit her teeth in determination. Fire was in her veins, and the green haired woman felt a low spark in her stomach. She had missed doing something like this. It might seem risky and dangerous, but she had been someone that loved a hint of danger in her own way. Maybe it reminded her of friends in her past life, or perhaps it was just something that was warming her heart. Whatever it was, this was turning out to be fun regardless of the situation. And then she had to let go. A sound like something sliding, and then the pressure that she held in between her hands was gone. Her body slid off the creature, even as it had a final full body seizure. The utility panted herself, her arms shaking a bit at the force she had exerted. Her amber eyes were bright, even as she tilted her head up at the wolf's words. ''Yeah, you're right.'' she said, pushing away the antagonism that had nestled in her mood due to this person. She was able to be reasonable you know, even if most people didn't think so. Slipping her basic weapon away, shaking her hands from the sore feeling, she stepped towards the wolf. She didn't say anything, but a soft hand ran through the other's fur, as if apologizing in her own manner. The green haired woman touched the walls, as fighting the creature took them helter skelter here and there. The dim glow of the fungi helped orient her, and Dollie began to make her way down the tunnel, hoping that Drakka wasn't too far behind. They'd be out soon, she'd like to think. But who knows whom made that trap and what else was down here. For now, she'd just keep her senses sharp, and the speech minimal, because she really didn't have much to say that was well, acceptable really. For now, she'd let the silence between them well up, giving them both a small rest. Her gut feeling was that this was far from over, even if she just wanted to be at the surface already.. Drakka stared into the empty space where her enemy had last been, clearly never believing that something couldn't just revive out of the shadows once she was done tearing it apart. Except for bumping back down into her smaller size nothing happened, and she puffed out a long breath as her fur slid back into its smallest incarnation. Then Dollie touched her. She jerked her head down and nearly bumped Dollie's hand away, scarlet eyes swimming expressionlessly and very much terrifying in the sheer darkness of the the cave. She held her tongue and breath, eyes flicking down to the hand in her fur before leaning slightly away and padded away, head bowed and ears straight up. She looked occasionally at the site of the touch, but generally just kept walking, eager to get out of the cave before something else decided to come out of the walls or something. The silence was a little too much, but rather welcome. Almost nothing seemed to be here, and she was simply left in awkwardness. DOLLIE

drakkalet me know whenever you wanna finish the thread btw The other didn't speak much. That was fine. Dollie herself was thinking. Perhaps she could find some respect to this woman - but that was debatable. Or perhaps it wasn't. It was just her vain nature that this wolf had insulted that had a hard time assimilating the thought of 'respect' or 'companionship'. But the woman was more mature then that, and she took a breath. ''You remind me of one of my sisters.'' she suddenly breaks the silence. Her stride doesn't pause, even as she's walking nearly - when the tunnel allows it - side by side with the other. ''She loves animals, particularly wolves. She's rather fierce, like you.'' she continues. Silence is a bane, and thus Dollie seeks to break it's grip. Even if she's talking about herself to do it. ''It's kind of nice. Seeing you makes me confident that she'll survive in this world.'' she added. There was no way Dollie would apologize for any harsh words she spoke earlier, because she was not that kind of person. She would not admit she was wrong. And so, it is with that pride that she allows silence to resume, at least on her part. Maybe her small gambit would help, let the other open up to her so that the utility could see how this person ticked. It was somewhat a hobby of hers, and her family, to say the least. But she did not let herself sink fully into such things. After all, there was still danger in this tunnel probably. Lucky for her, her instincts screamed a warning, and her reflexes allowed her to suddenly duck, as something sliced through the air with a hissing sound. Trap or monster? MADE BY ★MEULK

Drakka let a smirk twitch on her face at Dollie, " She must be a terror then." She complimented, raising her head in a sort of proud way before, amazingly, continuing, " I have lots of sisters, brothers too, they're...they're terrible." She bared her teeth in a tooth smile, fondness dancing in her eyes as she remembered everything but the simple fact that they had entered this world with her, it seemed she wasn't ready for that. As the click for the trap rang out, Drakka didn't hear it. Instead, she heard that Dollie's sister was apparently in this game. In this game! And she wasn't with her!? She jerked to the side, " What do you mean, she's in this ga-gah!"...Let it never be said that Drakka was good at traps. The effect was comparable to a net, wrapping around her in binding coils as a stuttered curse escaped her mouth. Her HP was dropping. " Shit shit shit! Get me out! I can't get out!" Indeed she couldnt, the spiky bindings held fast, and she struggled like the animal she resembled. DOLLIE

Definitely a trap. The conversation with the wolf girl - she was pretty sure it was a girl at this point - was rather fun. Light hearted, and a little more then just a passive antagonism. She even giggled at the comment that one of her siblings was a terror. Of course they were, it was the nature of siblings - and even Drakka seemed to agree with that. It was nice, to be able to just be, and not have her normal armours wrapped around her like a cloak. She had thought she wouldn't be able to do it until she was dead, but here she was proven wrong. But she knew she couldn't stay soft forever - it just wasn't in her nature. But the trap was taking her focus now. ''Stop squirming!'' she snapped. The more the wolf resisted, the harder it would be. She knew these kinds of traps, having seen a couple in her short time in this game. Rapidly, she ran her fingers over the whole thing, looking for that one little spot. After all, traps had a method of being taken down easy by their creators - it was an overall feature of most traps. Not so much for deadly ones, but still, this was not one of those. It would hurt - she could see the other's hp go down - but it wouldn't kill. ''Come on, come on, it's around here I swear...'' she muttered, keeping the panic out of her voice. And then finally, she pressed on something, and the wolf spilled out of the trap. With two thumps, the bindings had fallen on the ground, even as Dollie bodily pulled the wolf away. With a soft touch, her hands glowed, slowly healing the creature. Not many would notice, but there was worry in her amber eyes, even as she made sure there was no damage on her current partner left. Perhaps it was thinking of her siblings, trapped and them all separated, that made her soft and vulnerable right now. Whatever it was, it needed to stop. Not as much as them leaving this damn tunnel already. MADE BY ★MEULK

Drakka barely heard the actuallyrather useful advice, eyes swimming wildly as her breath swirled around in her chest. It felthonestly horrible and it was taking all her willpower to not scream right now, and it hurt, dammit , the trap hurt! A warbling whimper hissed through the air as Dollie searched the trap, she had to get out of here, fight it! Do something about this hellish thing! Quite suddenly, she didn't need to fight anymore. The impact was sudden, the healing even more so. Drakka jerked up almost immediately and started walking in circles momentarily, twitching at the pain left under her skin. Goddammit, fuck that hurt. She almost didn't seem to remember Dollie right there before her eyes flashed toward her and a strained, " Thanks." Leaked out from her clenched jaws. She started to walk again, stomping as if there was something on her feet and lowering her head to hide the adult panic plain on her face, " S-stay...ah-hmm...stay behind me...if...if something jumps out I probably won't die." The wolf seemed out of it. Perhaps she held a fear of being confined? That would make sense, even to her mind. But the green haired woman just let out a soft sigh, because it seemed like the other was well, not necessarily untrusting, but clearly affected and unwilling to touch it. ''Relax, we don't have to move just yet.'' she said softly, wanting to touch the wolf before her, but holding herself back. Her voice was gentle, and she took in a deep breath. ''I would surely appreciate a minute or two of rest.'' she added. It wouldn't do if the other saw her actions as that of pity. No, Dollie didn't pity this wolf, but rather she was worried, as any big sister aught to be. After all, she had said that the wolf reminded her of a sibling. She didn't necessarily mention that she was a younger sibling to her memory. Taking a moment regardless to catch her breath, the green haired woman evaluated her thoughts. They were running along blind in a tunnel that held traps and monsters. If they kept going like this, they would exhaust themselves, and that was a bad idea. Biting down on her lip, she was letting her mind run through plans. Because despite how the wolf's company might feel nice - a balm on her soul, unable to find her siblings in this world - she couldn't remain here long. She had hard that a raid was to start soon, and wanted to head to it. So, she took a moment, and thought of plans in which to continue, forcibly taking the time to rest. If the other didn't, well, they'd find themselves in bigger trouble when the pair was separated, more then likely. MADE BY ★MEULK
