[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Holding the staff in both hands, letting it hit his legs as he walked forward, the Chloromancer would look to the ground with a pitiful look of anguish on his face.
He had wanted to do a quick quest, not only to level up but also to get some quick cash, but what he didn't want was to deal with other people that had decided to queue with him for the quest.
Its not like he didn't want people to help him out or anything, but having to deal with people and work together with them would prove difficult for this awkward young man.
Aw well, it's not like he can change the outcome anymore, he might as well have just sucked it up and let it happen. Besides, this whole thing will get over quicker with two more pairs of hands helping him out.
So, gaining a slightly brighter expression, the man would conjure a small grass golem to accompany him as he took a seat on a fence on the farm, waiting for the other person while the small golem walked around, making noises by blowing into its hand

The idea of working on a farm sounded absolutely boring to Ophiuchus. He was a man of action, and adventure. Of living every day like it was his last. But, one has to admit that there is a time and a place for doing things the easy way every so often. Working on a farm would be boring, but it put bread on the table, metaphorically speaking.
Upon approaching the quest location, the Ouroboros caught sight of another man and a small grass creature waiting around the quest area. At least that meant he wasn't going to have to stand around wasting more time waiting for someone else to show up to do the quest with him. And the other man's disposition seemed bright. The absolute worst case scenario would be to get stuck on the stupid quest with someone that had a stick up their ass.
"Yo," he grinned, holding a hand up in greeting, "You here to farm the fuck outta some berries, too?"

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Sitting quietly as he swing his legs back on forth on the fence, he would watch as the golem pranced about, blowing into his leafy hands. He’d chuckle quietly to himself as he watched.
As the other player stepped forward and asked his question, the unnecessary use of profanity ringing in his ears, the Chloromancer would come to a stand waving the golem over.
“U-um, what? Right, yea, I’m ready to pick some berries.” He’d laugh awkwardly and turn on his heel, looking over his shoulder every so often, wary of the man as he would be of anyone really.
Stepping onto the farm, he would briefly explain to the man, running it back to him, while avoiding eye contact, “So, we’re supposed to help tend the crop for now, but the quest says that there might be some unwanted guest so.” He’d pause, “You look kinda brutish, do you want to take care of keeping watch while I tend to the crops?”
Pausing the man would gain a flustered look about him as he stammered, “I-I didn’t mean you look like an unfriendly guy or anything, I just mean that you don't look like you want to be farming or anything.”

Yikes. As soon as the other man started talking, Ophiuchus wasn't feeling as confident about having him as a partner. Sure, he wasn't a hard ass, but that was only because it seemed like he lacked confidence to the point where it wasn't clear if he knew what the word even meant. [break][break] The Ouroboros resisted the urge to sigh as he followed Garrand onto the farm. The lack of eye contact as he spoke feeling like a challenge for Ophiuchus to try and keep eye contact as much as he could manage. Was it mean to try and make the other player uncomfortable? Maybe, but he shouldn't make it so easy. [break][break] "I'd prefer unfriendly over lazy any day," Ophiuchus sneered, not particularly offended by the wording, but not caring enough to convey this fact to Garrand, "Yeah, I'll keep watch," he shrugged, glancing the other man over as he did so, "I'm not entirely convinced you'd be able to do it without peeing your pants as soon as a monster showed up."

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] The Chloromancer’s eyes would. gleamed as the rather rude man mentioned something about him peeing his pants. He’d turn with a determined look about him as he asked “What was that? Because I swear I heard you call me wimpy.” He’d pause as he approached the man calmly, the golem onlooking as the Chloromancer moved further away from it.
Looking up at the man, his height being shorter than average, he would grow to eye level by quickly growing a thick root under him. “Now listen here, I may be a lot of things, but cowardly isn’t one of them. I suggest you bite your tongue before making conclusions, friend.” Rerooting the root he would shrink and hold out a hand, “Now, since we’re going to be working together we shouldn't be fighting, let's start over. My name is Garrad as you can see for yourself in my profile, as well as my class which is Chloromancer, and since nature is my class and with my green thumb, I wanted to take this role.”
Whether he chose to shake his hand or not, he would continue with his explanation. “Your class is a defender one, so I assumed you would want to, you know, defend. But if you’re going to be like that about it, how about I just do both while you sit around?” Turning his back to the Ouroboros, he would hold out a hand to the grass golem, using Life to grow it to greater power. As the process was completed the grass golem would form into more of an earthy one as dirt, rocks, and tree branches packed into its humanoid body. The rocks and tree branches formed armor as well as fist.
Looking back at his comrade he would begin to speak, “I wanted to do this alone from the start anyways.” | [attr="class","fish"] [attr="class","gold"]words: 309
