the futurist emits a powerful stream of energy from their gauntlets, which encompasses their ally from a distance providing them with a weak shield. the shield itself does mitigate a small amount of damage, and if the enemy does not break the shield, the energy within will slowly heal the ally that it encompasses over time.

(an ally would only be the target of this ability if the futurist is trying to save their life, enemy must be cc-compatible)
