A yawn escaped Rache's lips as she stood on a small pathway in the forest. Sure, she didn't seem to get tired anymore in this weird world, but things could still be boring enough to draw out a yawn, right? Walking through the forest certainly wasn't as stimulating as it had been the first day. At first she had tried to search every nook and cranny, but now, the girl was just content to see how far she could get.
Rache turned to glance over her shoulder when she heard rustling in the distance. As she got closer to the sound, the rustling turned into the sound of a skirmish. Screams could be heard drifting from the distance. Gulping, Rache drew her bow and moved to hop in the bushes on the side of the small pathway. The forest was thick in this part of it... What could be being attacked?
As she got closer, Rache took notice of the adorable small village. She also took note of goblins attacking it. Gulping, Rache considered turning around. However, then a quest notification popped up in front of her. Well... It was a quest... With a deep breath, she accepted the quest and slowly rose to aim her bow at a nearby goblin. As Rache drew back the string, a sickly purple ooze appeared in a pixaled glow as she activated her toggle ability.
The arrow would wiz out into the air as Rache shot it. A goblin would let out a screech as the arrow rammed into it's back. At first, the damage didnt seem to be much, but as Rache ducked back down into the bushes, more and more pixels could be seen drifting up from the goblin. A multitude of voices were chattering at a distance, in a language the martial artist couldn't interpret but was able to recognize from its guttural notes.[break][break] Topaz put two and two together: a goblin siege was taking place.[break][break] Right on cue, her own visual interface lit up with the telltale presence of a quest window, detailing that a nearby settlement was being pillaged by the hordes and required assistance from outsiders to fend the menace off.[break][break] Having desperately craved some kind of physical action all morning, the Bullet Fighter took off into a hurried sprint while she pulled her arms back into right angles, priming her signature bullet gloves for the carnage that was about to unfold.[break][break] To help her reach the scene of the fight even faster, Topaz pushed her hands toward the ground in order to unleash a blast of kinetic force from both her gauntlets, sending her careening forward through the air while she primed for another discharge, performing the same maneuver to achieve the same results.[break][break] Hopefully, she would arrive before all the good enemies were picked off. Well, that and the fact that they had weapons, so it's not like they would be killing unarmed goblins.
Lilith currently found herself on her way to the location enclosed in the quest description. She expected for the goblins to be idle, then at least a stealth attack would be an option. What she got was what seemed to be a kid already initiating the fight. Not only that, but they missed. Actually, as she got closer she could see the little guy's health slowly wash away as the arrow would be sticking out of it's back.
Lilith decided to walk up next to the kid and greet herself. "Damn, nice shot kid. Though if it was me, I would've aimed for the head instead because...." She gestured to the now alerted horde of goblins, all of them looking in their direction. "You've awoken the beast. The tiny, green, adorable beast." She let out a sigh as she unsheathed her katana.
Time to get to work. |

Rache shot off another arrow as a blond dynamite raced into the scene of the combat. The girl was clearly much more punchy oriented than Rache was herself. She held back, watching with wide eyes as the girl unleashed her carnage into the fight. The girl grinned before raising her bow to shoot off another arrow. Once more, when the arrow struck the goblin, pixelated damage would float up into the sky as more of it's health dropped after the initial hit.
Then, she heard a voice behind her head. Rache turned with wide eyes to see the red haired woman... well red with blond highlights. Why did everyone have such cooler hair than her? First the awesome lion mane of blond hair and now the duel colored fiery hair behind her.
Rache smiled softly before nodding. ”Yep! But that's why I'm going to be running away while I switch poisons!” she hummed before turning to begin scurrying up the tree next to her as the goblins began to surround it. As she hid up in the tree, the girl seemed to be fiddling with a menu while avoiding the rocks being thrown at her. The faster imps were slowly beginning to climb the tree.

| [attr="class","cdwrap2"] [attr="class","cdpost"] As one of the more emaciated-looking goblins approached the edge of the quest zone, so too did Topaz, who came quite literally barreling through the forest at unprecedented velocity and, as if having planned to take this approach from an earlier point in time, used the poor creature as a footstool to launch herself high into the air.[break][break] "Cool! I made it just in time!" Topaz shouted, full of delight as she tucked into herself into a forward roll while she fell back to earth, simply to land into a crouched posture, poised and ready to strike.[break][break] Amethyst eyes quickly traced two other players present on the scene; an apple-haired archer, and a lady samurai whose hair also looked like an apple, only more colorful and slightly tastier.[break][break] "Any of you guys like jokes?" the Bullet Fighter asked with an impish grin, cocking her arms into right angles as the upper slides of her bullet gloves loaded an extra couple of shells, ejecting the spent casings to the ground. "'Cause I'm probably gonna make a lot of 'em." Topaz figured it was best to give them some warning beforehand; apparently, not everyone liked to have fun in the middle of a fight.[break][break] Or, was it a taunt to the goblins? The world will never know, for she will take this secret to her final grave if she must![break][break] As three knife-swinging goblins rushed to greet the blonde fighter, Topaz swooped to the left with circular footwork and unleashed a series of swift, crushing punches that rang out like gunfire, sending two of the creeps tumbling backwards and one of them high into the air, which the Bullet Fighter took the liberty of performing a graceful backflip kick against once it had dropped back down a suitable distance.[break][break] "By the way, you guys have really cute outfits! Juuust sayin'~" Topaz called out in the middle of performing a double palm thrust, blasting several more goblins away without missing a beat. [break][break] rache , @lilith |

Lilith stood there and watched as she ran away. She must be a utility then, which was good. They had 2 out of 3 in the holy trinity of rpgs. Now if only an attacker would fall out of the sky, it would make the quest go by a whole lot faster.
And like that, an attacker fell out of the sky. Literally, she came through the tress and tumbled into view. That was... one way to make an entrance. Funny thing was, this person didn't even skip a beat, jumping up and immediately started fighting. She also said something else, though the only word Lilith got from it was "jokes" and whenever someone brings that up it's never good.
She sighed before charging in behind her new punch-happy blonde friend. Most of the goblins seemed to be paying attention to the new girl, so Lilith ran into a group of about 10 goblins before activating Massacre, so all of them would change their focus to her instead of blondie by taking all of the aggro.
She took a step back and braced herself for combat. "Hey, before we continue, you two got names?"
