the world begins again This whole scene was straight out of a horror movie. Or an apocalypse-themed one. Naomi stood by the door of Bloodborne Manor, having accepted a quest that required her to kill as many zombies as she could. Her nose wrinkled at the thought of all those smelly, icky undead with their dismembered limbs and rotting bodies. Oh how she wished she could soon get an ability to kill something from afar. As it was, her best bet was to put as many of them to sleep as she could, and stab them in the heart with her dagger. But that meant getting close to them, and risk being grabbed by other zombies. She shivered at the thought of those disgusting hands all over her. No, she would like to do this quest with someone else. Preferably someone strong who could do all the fighting and the dirty work while she hung back and cheered them on. So there she waited, hoping someone reliable would appear to help her out. @anyone Zombie Outbreak

Bugs wasn't a big fan of zombies - they were so overused it was boring. Putting them in a haunted manor just made it worse. As grand and colourful as Gargantua was, the game designers apparently weren't creative enough to think of better quests.[break][break]
The air felt colder the closer she got to Bloodborne Manor and Bugs would swear that the sunlight got dimmer, shrouding the manor in that spooky dark atmosphere that is so typical for these kind of things. Fortunately it was still decently bright out, and as she arrived at the entrance gate she immediately spotted the mop of pink hair at the door of the manor. It looked like she wasn't the only one here for some zombie killing.[break][break]
She walked briskly towards the other player, raising a hand in silent greeting. When she arrived in front of Papilion, she offered a smile and cocked her head back towards the gate. "You waiting on someone?"

the world begins again When Naomi spotted a new player approaching, her eyes lit up with hope. If the blond haired woman was coming here, it meant she was doing the same quest as her right? Unless she had agreed to meet up with other players, there was a big chance that she would be amenable to partying with her. The closer she got, the easier it was to see her name. She saw Bugs wave a hand to her, and she smiled brightly as she returned it. This was good. It meant she had bigger chances of joining with her. So at her question, Naomi shook her head. "I'm not waiting for anyone in particular. I was hoping to partner up with someone for the zombie quest." Twisting her body from side to side, she continued smiling hopefully at her. "Would you like to team up? Or if you already have a party coming, can I join? I promise I won't get in your way."bugs Zombie Outbreak

"Nah," Bugs said. "I'm on my own, too. We can team up." She was honestly glad to have someone to do this quest with - Bugs' DPS wasn't amazing, as a super-tanky class, so the added damage from another player would make the quest go by much faster. Plus, from the short conversation they'd had so far, she seemed nice enough, and company would help take her mind off the fact that this quest was... pretty dumb. And also, something important: she was cute.[break][break]
She hoisted her shield off her back and then unsheathed the sword at her side with her other hand. "I'm a defender, so I can lead the way. Let me get their attention and then you can do... whatever you do." As long as Papilion could do damage, Bugs didn't much care how. If she was a purely-healer class - well. Bugs just really hoped she wasn't.[break][break]
It took a moment of fumbling to get open the door to the manor with her hands full, but she was glad to have prepared herself when a zombie immediately lunged towards her. It hit her quickly-raised shield with a heavy noise and Bugs used it to shove the zombie back, sending it sprawling. It wasn't the only one there, though - the zombies must've heard the two talking outside and been drawn to the noise. Bugs pushed further into the entrance hall, slashing at zombies that got too close, giving Papilion enough room to come in behind her. Time to kick ass and take names. Did zombies even have names?

the world begins again Yes! Not only was Bugs not partying up with anyone, but she was willing to do it with her. Naomi let out a sigh of relief then grinned as the blond haired woman showed off her weapons. With her abilities, defender-type players are always a good match. While they can't kill monsters instantly, they have better chances of surviving long enough to eventually wipe them out. It was just a matter of pacing. She was about to explain what she could do - and suggest that she step in and work her magic first - but Bugs was off and opening the front doors as soon as she was done talking. The sudden attack from a zombie made her jump and yelp in surprise. Fortunately, Bugs was on it and sent it flying back inside with a flick of her shield. "Hold on Bugs..." Too late, the other stepped inside, and Naomi had no choice but to go after her. Inside she shivered at the sight of zombies all around. Bugs was swinging her blade at the already, moving further into the room. She hurried after, taking out her dagger and crying out as one came at her from the side. After stabbing then shoving it back, she ran right up to Bugs and placed her hands on the other's shoulder, giving her a buff from Golden Touch. Then she spun around so that her back was against Bugs and spread her wings out to either side. "Hold your breath for a bit!"Butterfly scales scattered forward as she beat her wings. They floated towards the zombies that were approaching the two from behind, causing all to drop to the ground unconscious. "There! That'll ease the pressure off of us for a bit." She glanced at Bugs with a pout. "You shouldn't just charge in without thinking, that's dangerous and stupid!"bugs Zombie Outbreak
