[attr="class","sp1-container"] [attr="class","sp1-header"] [attr="class","sp1-p"]If you'd told her back then that you've been on the infamous island, she'd have dismissed your little traveler's tale. It always sounded like a made up place to momentarily change the tracks of the cowering and distressed—a treasure hunt for the curious adventurers. Many have said it was a spawn point for a high leveled beast that had multiple types of attacks and spells to have no effect on its life bar. It was a dreadful island you can't escape until after the long hours of hiding from death. As hardcore as it sounded, that wasn't the case. Actually, the rumors were far from the truth, very, very far.[break][break] This wasn't the first time Keira's been on the island. It happened a month ago, when she fell off her boat ride thanks to a water serpent that kept bulldozing the ferry. She remembers having swallowed liters of sea water because of the strong currents made by the monster. She swam for how long after that? Not too sure. Still, she arrived on the island, roamed for a while, then left as soon as she saw a ship pass by. The island's gift—a memory wipe.[break][break] This time around, she rented a small boat for her own travel, and was en route to a mission on a small yet cozy island by the name of Aloha Leis. It looked as much of a Hawaiian getaway as it sounded. From afar, the trees and the overall life of the island was visible. When she docked her vessel, anchoring it down, Keira motioned for the map to open. Strangely, this island was not marked Aloha Leis; actually, it wasn't on the map at all. Wondering if it was a glitch of sorts, she trekked the tropical land. For an hour, she wandered until she saw a small pool of what looks to be freshwater. It looked familiar, as if she'd been exactly here once. "[attr="class","sp1-str"]Ah, that's right," she pauses, memories flooding back, "[attr="class","sp1-str"]this was that island." That moment when one hasn't the slightest clue as to how they got there and they ended up in a stupidly dazed wander... That was something Kohryu was certainly not doing nor had she received such a wonderful gift of amnesia. Oh no, the woman knew exactly why she was there, or rather; knew how it had ended up this way and it was even more certainly not one of her more pleasant days. This is what she got for trying to befriend roguish characters...
The horned woman had been running up and down the beaches of this godforsaken little island like a madman, hair still wet from her earlier 'experience' of cat-and-mouse with a water monster (she'd never been so glad to have a tail in dragon form before). Thankfully her health had already regenerated within that brief moment from the earlier attempt, and miserable fail; of a pickpocket from one of the earlier said rogues. Thieves. This is why she hated them! Now she just hated them with a passion..! Now if only hatred could magically call for a boat or airship or... something. Anything. That would have been great. But no, of course not; ever since Kohryu had found and gotten her heavy ass stuck on that awkward rock- she'd been stuck. Indefinitely.
Hunger nipped at her belly, still a strange feeling despite being inside a game; and the woman wasn't sure if that was the salt from the sea that made her mouth feel dry or if it was fire burning in her belly that made air taste like gas. Either way, she was not happy. Not one bit. That feeling had continued long into the moments it took her to think of cutting across the island to the other side, rampaging through flora like it was made of paper mache. Run, run, run- oh there's a person there!
Wait, what?
Crap. An attempt to slow her bull's charge proved fatal for her footing, Kohryu finding herself now ski-butt-sliding right toward a figure she could recognize as human with a downward slope that really should not have caused this kind of slip. Perhaps it was the momentum. Either way, no matter how she clawed at the ground or sought to roll into a stop; it seemed that the nature of the island was just not going to have it. "Look out! Outa the way!" This wasn't going to end well, not by a long shot. A ridiculous thought didn't exactly sound right nor did it feel like it was going to help but the woman still activated one of her skills, well; her only skill she could activate in that form. The momentum made her look more like a wispy fireball than a human being, what was once a girl grew into a winged, tailed beast of scale and claw. Really now, what had she been thinking?
Her new claws managed to slow her, wings batted at the air in a horrible decision; sending the were-dragon straight up, like a jump; only to land rather magnificently right in that crystal pool. The splash radius must have been terrible, not that she would take notice. Head first into that left her in a normal position of 'breath first, ask later'- more like the dragon raised her head with a deep gasp, sending more waves about with the extra mass of her butt. A few hacking coughs and there was an incredulous look on her face, er- maw. As expressive as a lizard's features could get that was. "Hah!" A series of coughs, "That was one of my less graceful saves." An armored arm moved to wipe the water at her face, "Good thing nothing hurts." She'd already forgotten the other person thanks to that pounding steamhammer in her chest. Whoops. @redherring

[attr="class","sp1-container"] [attr="class","sp1-header"] [attr="class","sp1-p"]There was bustling from afar. It was faint either because of the distance or the size, but there sounds of green life being disturbed. Still, you can never be too cocky in a world that's out to kill you. Keira pulls out a small cube, no bigger than 3 inches in area. She drops it onto the ground with very little force. As soon as it made contact with the sand, the cube began to whir and buzz, magic and electricity flowing through its pieces. "[attr="class","sp1-str"]Get ready, Colin." Her voice was stern and cut sharp as she commanded her little Rubik cube of a robot to assemble itself. The engineer's Colossal Colin skill has been activated. Hopefully, the uninvited guest would take long enough for Colin to transform into its 8-foot-of-a-beast self.[break][break]It's been 5 minutes now, that's only half Colin's preparation time. The sound had quickly become louder. It was coming closer and it sounded of medium build. Keira fixes her stance, ready to pack some punches into whatever was approaching. She only needed a few minutes left until Colin was awake and ready to attack or defend, but it looked like that wasn't going to happen. A humanoid figure came sliding down as if the sand were greased in oil. How could they have slipped so terribly? It didn't matter; Kiera would hurt the incoming person if it meant reflecting the damage and returning it with double the power thanks to the opposing forces. "Look out! Outta the way," was the shouting that came from the girl. Keira was about to side-step when the girl-turned-dragon-thing did the evading for her.[break][break]The creature flew upwards and somehow managed to land into the freshwater. The impact was strong, and the waves that drenched her from head-to-toe was proof of that. Good thing it wasn't sea water or else Keira would've gotten a tad pissed. "[attr="class","sp1-str"]There wasn't a hint of gracefulness in that landing." She took off her hat and began to squeeze out the water, and the next to go was her red jacket. The whole thing ended up better than expected. Keira wasn't hurt—which was the more important outcome—and the other player was fine too. The engineer just wasn't in the mood for both of that.[break][break]When she was nearly finished drying out her clothes, a low yet loud sound burst in the air. She made her way towards the giant machine and placed a hand on its leg. "[attr="class","sp1-str"]You're a little late, Colin." Varying tones of beeps came from the machine; it sounded saddened by the comment. It was a good thing there was no such thing as 'social suicide' on a near deserted island, at least so long as Kohryu didn't deem the current company something to worry about. Well, whenever it was the Wyrmlord decided she actually wanted to re-notice the other figure. Didn't take long for that to happen with the words reinforcing her 'glorious entrance'. Ever so casually, the were-dragon got to her feet-talons; making sure to have a nonchalant pose all the while. One clawed hand held poised above an eye, shading one side of her face against nearly nothing it felt like. The other hand went to perch on the armor at her hips, even the tip of her tail raised into a semi-curl. Dainty, right? She could only hope so.
Completely ignoring the water adding a few extra pounds, and pooling uncomfortably in places it shouldn't have; the woman made sure to keep one red eye on the other. Slit pupil dilating against the sight to behold. Now wasn't that a pretty sight... she had to thank the slightly less filled pool of water later with this little dessert- was that a robot?! The heavy clunk of something unique caught the were-dragon's attention near immediately, fin ears flapping as Kohryu found herself jaws agape and eyes sparkling. "Holy crap its a transformer..!" There was a series of disturbing giggles combined with an over-eager 'climb' toward the duo. Once again, the girl was briefly forgotten. Along with dispelling the transformation.
The near-six foot dragon practically bounced her way through the water, tail flailing against the water to keep her balance until she stood at the 'beach' of said puddle. A talon jabbed its way toward the machine a safe ways away, Kohryu finally remembering the lass enough to pointedly look at her. Predatory eyes shining with all the excitement a nerd could muster, "Is that a pet? A mount? Transformer?! Dude there's a transformer here-" She cut herself off with a sudden gasp, "Or is a mini macross mech?! Oh that would be so cool! How'd you get one?! Oh I knew I should've been a mount maker..!" Not once did the lizard's legs stop prodding at the ground, an excited little dance not helping the splashing behind her in any way. Good thing water didn't kill... yet. Hopefully not ever since that would be dumb but it was more of a curiosity to know if she was going to rust first before catching cold. If they had such things within the system.
Oh who cared! There was a mech in front of her face! An intelligent sounding one going by how it reacted to the girl's words. How about that, one of the game's much more fascinating features by far. @redherring

[attr="class","sp1-container"] [attr="class","sp1-header"] [attr="class","sp1-p"]"[attr="class","sp1-str"]He's more of a summon." No one's ever asked about her robots so Keira doesn't know what to say that would be exact to define Colin. In gaming terms, he was a summon but he was somewhat sentient. It felt wrong to sort of belittle his existence. "[attr="class","sp1-str"]He's a friend," she corrects. Colin wasn't a mechanical suit that needed a pilot. He's very similar to the Transformers from the films centuries back. Those were classics really. A mount? Keira could have Colin carry her on his shoulder or something but he didn't function like a mount. The simplest way she could describe Colin would be a could-be-mount-Transformer-bot. Getting back to her companion, the engineer was glad that she was so interested and even enthusiastic about Colin. Well, the girl wasn't bad herself. Transforming into a dragon must be bad-ass during a battle. She couldn't say that though, didn't know how to blurt that out all of a sudden.[break][break]"[attr="class","sp1-str"]If I may," she begins, trying to steer the awkwardness into a conversation of sorts, "[attr="class","sp1-str"]what are you doing here?" This place wasn't a tourist spot that you could go to whenever you wanted to after all. There was also the issue of why the dragon-girl appeared in the way that she did. Lots of questions could be asked but the most important one was forgotten for the time being—who was she?
