One of her favorite places had to be the town of origins, it buzzed with people and excitement, regardless of their predicament it allowed her to forget if only momentarily, that they couldn't log out of the game. Though she didn't have the money to buy all the cute things on display, window shopping never got old and she enjoyed doing it every time they wandered back into the town.
Of course she always made sure to chat up her favorite NPCs who, thoroughly made always remembered her. It was easy to allow yourself to forget that none of this was real and that you were trapped here. NPCs and people blended together so seamlessly you could mistake the real world for having been nothing but a dream, instead.
She could feel the wind through her hair, the smells of fresh baked goods at the stands that they passed and whenever she indulged herself and bought one the taste was there. Everything was there, the sensations were all lifelike, if anything she could say they were amplified compared to the real world. "Quin!" She called, turning to wave toward her companion when a pop up notification stopped her. A quest displaying just as several people took off nearby, clambering up stalls and jumping onto the roofs of buildings with cheerful shouts. A smile already making its way onto Adrian's face as she watched them go. A glance at the quest that had popped up heralded them as the targets catch and return stolen goods. Something she could do!
Without thinking twice she immediately hit the accept button for both herself and her companion before she clambered up the nearest cart and hopped onto the roof, turning on her heel to wave to Quin. "C'mon! It'll be fun!"

[attr="class","talkcolor"]It has taken him while adjust to the idea of this game. Rather, the idea of being unable to leave, log out being impossible. It's taken him a minute to calm his initial stress over the scene of being told their only way of leaving the game was to beat it. Since then, life had been high strung in the game for him and just masking it before finally accepting the situation. There wasn't much he could do on his own for the situation nor with the help of his companion other than one thing. That was to entertain the game dev's twisted idea and beat the game.
The noise and population of the Town of Origin never did what it was hoped to do, to make people feel like the illusions of the game were real. The game did try to attack at every sense and possible need the real people in the game would have, yet it wasn't enough for him to not remember it was some forced projection in his and others minds. It almost made him wonder if they were hoping to make the place so real that people didn't care about returning. He was sure there were people out there that have lead a life like him, dark and heavy, and this world entrapment was perfect to not return to what ever shit life they were dealt. He wouldn't blame people for wanting to fall to the immersion, but he didn't want that for himself. A few years ago, maybe. Now? Not so much. He had his own reasons for wanting to be out again, in real life.
At first, he never paid the NCPs he passed mind that tried to talk to him, but now he nodded to them as a response instead. Even from being programming they had more an effort to talk to him than people in real life, who would stay clear of him on rumors alone. Then again, they were just that. Programming. They didn't have the will to rumor about him, not that he had done something in this world yet to be as notorious as he was in life.
His attention snapped away from the attention of details when he heard the pink haired compatriot call for him. “What, Adr-” he went to walk towards her but stopped when he saw the notification in his face and the noise in the area shift from it's usual calm delight to a playful, but intense beat. The quest was accepted before he could have a say and he just press accept blindly as he moved to catch up. Jumping and pulling himself up a few crates of a stall till there was was climbable lattice to a roof.
“Yeah, yeah. I hear you, kid.” He said looking to map indicators of the general directions their targets moved. “Let's get them before they get far.” He said back with a tone already carrying fight-ready grit, turning towards one of the indicators and ready to bound after whether she choose to split up the work between them or stay together to take down each one, one by one. We all want it again We’re all just born to descend We... got no love for the end [attr="class","barimgmove"] [attr="class","imagehold"] [googlefont=Fira Mono][googlefont=Didact Gothic][googlefont=Amatic SC][newclass=.barimgmove]position:relative;top:-124px;[/newclass][newclass=.imagehold]position:relative;top:48px;left:310px;[/newclass][newclass=.talkcolor b]color:#8fffff;[/newclass]
