[attr="class","TheHandmaiden05"] [attr="class","TheHandmaiden"] I t had been a long while since Scholar had actually done something in this world, most of her time had been spent inside towns just trying to live her life like she wasn't stuck in some damned game. In all honesty she was terrified to her very core about the idea of dying in a place like this, it wasn't what she or anyone else here signed up for at all. The young woman just wanted to have some fun in a game and to get a break from her studies. And a game that had a class that shared the same idea of her actual field of study seemed to interesting to pass up. Boy did she wish that she passed it up. But now here the black haired girl was, sitting on the steps to a building in Izanami, having recently accepted a quest from someone in the town to help them protest. Peaceful protests were fine and dandy with her but now that she was supposed to help them dump tea in a pond in the middle of the night she was having some second thoughts. Sure it was destruction of someone's property and probably definitely illegal in the real world, but this was just a game the laws didn't really matter here. Sucking up whatever morals she held about just wasting someones beverages Scholar would let out a small sigh as she navigated her way through her menu. Eventually making her way to the looking for groups tool and posting up a request for some people to help her out with this quest. After all she was a utility class and one that didn't really get the hang of fighting here yet, so if things turned sour during the quest she would definitely need some help. Once the request for some help was sent out Scholar would put her hands underneath her chin, her elbows resting atop her knees as she awaited some back up. At first, Faust had nearly dismissed the quest, because a tea party sounded like the worst type of party, as in, the parties she'd actually climbed down trees to get away from growing up. Thankfully, she'd read it closely anyway, and brightened almost immediately when the fine line said something about getting to toss that tea in the fucking water after some boring stuff about workers rights or some other political shit. That had been that, and she'd been on her way. [break][break]
It was no fun getting into trouble all on her lonesome, though, so she'd checked the group search tool and was even lucky enough to find someone else had been interested in that kind of thing! Maybe this wasn't going to be such a boring night, after all.[break][break]
The Asmodeus hadn't taken much longer after accepting to show up, just in time to see a pink haired girl cover her mouth with her hands after saying something to the other young woman. "Are you two here for the quest?" She asked as she floated closer, a wicked grin on her face. She was pretty sure the name matched up to the girl who was sitting. Hopefully, they were just as ready to party as she was.

Sure she was a pretty cheerful person but she couldn't help but be a tad bit shy when it came to dealing with new people. And at the moment this seemingly hyperactive pink haired girl was making her feel a bit more reserved now then she was before. While Emily could definitely see the two of them getting along she was just kind of caught off guard with someone being that cheery given the situation that they were in. With a simple nod of her has as the pink haired girl asked if she was here for the little peaceful protest too, standing up to greet her properly. "Y-yeah I'm here for the quest too, probably shouldn't talk about it out loud though in case whoever we're stealing the tea from overhears us." Once that was muttered out Scholar would reach a hand up to play with a piece of her own hair, just trying to distract herself a bit. Turning to the white haired woman Scholar nodded her head for a second time, "Yeah we are.." Opening up her menu briefly the dark haired girl would shoot off a party invite to the two of them before looking around the area for a moment. Despite being a bit embraced about this fact she had to share it just so they knew ahead of time. "Hey uhh..this is the first quest I've done here, I'm not really sure what to do." When Scholar pointed out that they should maybe be quiet, Faust covered her mouth with both hands and wide eyes. Oooh, that'd never occurred to her. Yeah, sometimes the NPCs didn't seem to understand where she was coming from, but they did seem weirdly smart a lot of the time. They would probably catch on to their presence and try to stop them if any were around in the building they were stealing from ...[break][break]

When Aster greeted her, Faust was finally close enough to recognize and she beamed, eyes lit with joy while she waved. This was going to be fun, she'd already decided it. Accepting the party invite from Scholar, black "wings" materialized behind her back. If Aster also accepted, her fingers would lengthen into claws, and she would flex them, admiring the change. Glancing up, she smiled at Scholar. "Don't worry! I've only ever done, like, one quest before." She chimed, oblivious to how that might not actually be comforting. "As long as the tea gets into the water, we win."[break][break]
Following Aster's gaze, Faust broke out into a fittingly devilish grin. "Too wild? What do you mean? Isn't that the whole reason we're here?" She asked, not waiting for a response as she floated up to the window that Aster was trying to look through, squinting. No, she couldn't see it either. It must have been covered. Reaching down, she tried to open the window, but no luck. She tapped a finger to her lips, "I could see if they left a higher window unlocked and try to let you guys in through the door or somewhere else. Or, we could just break in." Blue eyes shone as she glanced over her shoulder at the two of them. "Either sounds exciting to me."

Taking in the sight of Faust's wings for a few moments before blurting out a nice and simple "Thats kind of cool, what'd you do to get those? I can grow red ones but I have to uhh hit a couple of things first.." Despite the pauses in between her words and the random uhhs Scholar was actually kind of excited to talk about class stuff, after all her class was based on her real life area of study. So naturally she was interested in the video game adaption of it as well. However the dark haired girl wouldn't crowd her or push too hard to learn about the other woman's class, instead backing up a bit once she started to fly up into the air. Glancing back over at the pink haired girl Scholar would shoot her a quick grin, slowly but surely wiggling her way out of her shell already. "It's nice to meet you too!" Faust laughed, running some fingers through her hair before flipping it over her shoulder, letting the attention from the both of them soak in for just a moment. After all, it wasn't like they were in the heat of battle or anything; a little vanity couldn't hurt anyone here. The attention to her class felt nice, leaving her all warm and fuzzy inside for a few seconds. "I'm an Asmodeus. I grow stronger when I'm in a party with others. One of you is a utility, so I get wings." She beamed, proud of her class choice.[break][break]
To be honest, she hadn't been in a fight with Aster yet, so she had yet to learn exactly how her skills worked.[break][break]
She nodded when Scholar gave her orders. "Yeah, that sounds smart," Faust admitted, and when Aster told her to go higher she started to comply. As she had said, it seemed like the 'wise' course of action, or whatever, so she was happy to follow through right up until Aster said to pick her up. There was being smart, sure, but that sounded fun! The Asmodeus zoomed right back down with a grin. "If you really want to!" She had never tried to pick up more than one person before, and two seemed like it might be pushing it, but she also almost never had a utility in her party so it was worth a try. [break][break]

She was caught off guard by Asterisk's suggestion to go along with Faust to search for one of the higher up windows. While she wasn't sure how good of an idea taking two people into the building through a window was or how safe the idea of having Faust carry someone was she honestly couldn't think of any valid reason to suggest they shouldn't try it.
