Aster's expression was blank the moment she heard the clang of shovels. She rubbed the back of her neck, looking up at Faust then back at the physical labor awaiting them. Before she could ask Faust on what to do, the woman had already given her firm answer. This lit up Aster's rebellious soul and got her pumped up to do something much more exciting. "I really do," Faust echoed. Unfortunately, she had yet to meet anyone willing to make her one goat, let alone as many different kinds as she wanted. She supposed, idly, she could always go back to that farm. Perhaps the NPC would be reasonable about letting her purchase one, even. If not, well, she'd just have to take matters into her own hands. [break][break]
When Aster was there to support her decision in not committing to physical labor, she broke out into a grin and took off as soon as she did. The sand goat did its best to follow their race away from work, hopping through the beach sand after them. Faust twirled as she floated through the air lazily, laughing softly as the pirate called something after them. She wasn't listening; nothing he said would convince her to dig through the sand for him. Wasn't there supposed to be adventure found in treasure hunting? [break][break]
She didn't really pay attention to where they went, or how far through the island they had gone, but Faust gasped when she finally saw something other than beach sand. Drifting closer, she drew near to the buried plank, tapping it with her finger as she called out. "Aster! Aster, do you see this?" It looked like some kind of old wood, just recently uncovered. Then again, it could just wind up being a plank. The Asmodeus smoothed away the sand to get a better look at it.[break][break]
When the top of the trunk popped open, she drifted back through the air with a squeak.

Aster didn't stop, not until she was bent over her knees, breathing heavily from the spontaneous cardio session. Geez, she needed to exercise more. Flipping her hair back, the rockstar dropped herself down into the sand to rest. Taking her shirt between two fingers, she began to tug at it repeatedly in an attempt to cool herself down. " Aaaaahhhh... Faust, I'm gonna bite the dust. It's so hot," Aster whined, bringing her legs in, the soles of her shoes touching as her body hunched over. In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best idea to ditch their ride home. [break][break] " Huh, whatcha got there?" Aster crawled over as soon as Faust had called out for her. Faust clapped her hands over her cheeks, eyes shining as she looked at all that money. It wasn't a lot, but even splitting it down the middle it would be so nice to have. Splitting it down three ... Faust considered, for a brief moment, that it was technically the wrong thing to do to just take the money and leave without the washed up pirate who nobody had believed about the treasure, but, well ... Finders keepers. Thinking about all that she could do with the money, she didn't feel the least bit bad about what she was about to do.[break][break]
Aster's comment, however, made her falter, her hands dropping, one touching her chest. "Y-yeah!" She started, touched by how selfless her new friend seemed to be. It was confirmed: she had to protect her and keep her safe. "I don't know any pet makers yet, or whatever they're called, but my half will be a good start!" She beamed.[break][break]
Aster had offered, but Faust honestly wanted to share the loot. Blinking and looking around, she frowned and leaned down to drag her fingers over the coins held within. "Here, let's split it." As soon as she picked it up, it was distributed evenly, and she broke into a grin. "And run to the shore, before he can catch up to us!" She laughed gleefully, zooming off in what seemed to be an appropriate direction. As soon as they reached water, she'd summon her water dragon mount and they'd be set to sail away with their find![break][break]
