[attr="class","bw-r-img"] [attr="class","bw-r-name"]UPDATE ONE - ABADDON'S ANTHEM [attr="class","bw-r-fade"] [attr="class","bw-r-border"] [attr="class","bw-r-bg"] [attr="class","bw-desc"] introduction So we've heard your feedback and we're ready to deliver on a lot of the things you've asked for. We appreciate you guys sticking us around and telling us what you're looking for. It made things really easy on us. So this big content update is focused on massive overhauls to current systems to bring them up to par (and y'know, nerf scar).
raids First off, let's look at raids. These bad boys were meant to be a major team effort where everyone in hard mode could contribute in taking down the boss and surviving to earn mad loot. What ended up happening was a lot of them were either useless or walking blenders that most people didn't care for unless they wanted to kill off a character. So we've added health bars to all raid bosses and all previous hard mode game-types. Not only will you be striving to survive every raid, you'll be working together to take down the boss to snag that extra gear for doing so.
dungeons Next are the changes to dungeons. We felt that most of the dungeons were too long for little reward, so we wanted to fix that. Instead of the base ten required posts, you'll only need to make eight. But there's more. All bosses have been modified and streamlined to follow the easy-to-understand defense game-mode. We kept the boss individually by changing the chances of death. Floor difficulty is determined by the amount of posts required after the boss is spawned. These fixes will hopefully make dungeons easier, faster and more rewarding in the long run.
hard mode Beyond that, we tweaked all of the previous hard modes to support the change. Now you'll roll and contribute in all required posts in raids and dungeons. The old destroy and defense game-types were removed as their mechanics were added to different functions on the site. Remember, we're not removing options from you, we're just putting them in different places in an attempt to make it all easier and more fun.
quests Another big overhaul is the quests. A lot of them are retiring, but the ones remaining are receiving tweaks to required posts to spit rewards at you faster. Quests should feel more rewarding than what they are, especially if you can only do them once. On top of that, we're throwing tons of new quests at you. So buckle up, players.
inventories & items Inventories and items are getting minor changes in this update as well. We're removing the option to clean your inventory. I know this a big change you guys will be sad to let go, but it's good on us to keep track of your transactions so no one's cheating to get ahead of you. We recommend finding new ways to keep track of your items. A big change to inventories is that instant labeled items in the store are going to become tickets. This means they'll go into your inventory so we all can keep track of things.
We're also getting a new ticket item; the additional weapon slot.
miscellaneous And finally, there's a few other little things we're dropping on you. We're changing up the who's who, so it's easier to navigate and add your characters. Titans and the lore that surround them are coming very very soon, like super soon, so prepare for that. Your characters will have all sorts of questions and you'll have a place to get them answered. Oh yeah, and we're dropping a new raid on you guys: Abaddon, Harbinger of Death.
