People often say that true stories often become legends.. Then that most legends soon turn to myth as the eye witnesses perish from the earth. When time has gone on long enough those myths perish from people’s lips. They turn into bed time stories or even nightmare tales to put bad children to bed.. Yet there are some truths and myths that become rumors.. The rumors were used to make light of serious situations; yet did anyone ever take them into account? The main answer would be no. Kuma on the other hand was a curious soul who sought out all adventure in rumors. She made her living in the real world a soldier of fortune and a ever curious being. If there was any trouble to be found, Kuma found it with gusto and a smile unlike her companion’s. This was now one of her little goose chases to find out the truth! Having sent out a party invite the woman moved on ahead to the Valley of the Fallen. It was almost sobering to walk among various tombstones and unmarked graves. She had been here before a few times to help set up markers for the dead. That was not an experience she wished to relive any time soon. Opening her map the destination was just ahead for her, and yet she felt as if it had already begun. “Oh my… I hear you couldn’t rest in peace.. I hear you were the first player on Broken War.. Somehow I am convinced that you might be, then again you might not be..” Kuma wasn’t speaking to anyone in particular, she just spoke out to try and call the Revenants attention. An she hoped for two things at this point. The first was for an ally to answer her call and the second was for the creature to respond. She wanted to get this done quickly.. There must be peace restored to the Fallen. |
