W O L F can you hear the wind? let us feast on the enemy TAG @------ WORDS 451 NOTES 1/9 Snake snake!! | This fated time started off with a ‘playful’ game of tag! Yeah that’s right it was a playful game of tag in which Kuma took a liking to the badger animal. The beast had been kind enough to keep her company along her travels outside the Town of Origins. Whether she was on a quest or just spending time outside, the badger was around to spend time with her. Although she had her guild there were few she hung out with at this time. She was still pretty new to the guild work and all.
Thus when the badger chose to leave without a hug goodbye, Kuma was somewhat furious! Her pursuit of the creature took her far away from the normal trails. Her efforts took her over and under logs and dark brush sections. It even out ran her across a grassy field till it hit the shadows the forest. “Get back here dammit! Love me!” She shouted at the creature before it ducked into the thicket of trees. As Kuma approached there was a somewhat eerie sensation coming from this place.
The grounds seemed somewhat sickly.. Even though she was no specialist in forest work, it didn’t take an expert to tell the difference. Compared to its neighboring trees this section was very withered. “What the..” The words stopped short upon her approach, the Badger returned with haste. It’s eyes were wide with fear as it zipped between her legs and clung to her shin. From behind it came a rather ugly mushroom. It’s mouth raged open as its eyes glowed yellow with ill intention. From its pores came an infectious gas which caused the trees to visibly shrive before her eyes.
This sonouvabitch was trying to kill off the forest?! Oh hell no! Not in her house! No no no! With haste she quickly equipped her claws and went to work shredding the mushroom to ribbons. A grin of triumph crossed her face before the badger tugged her leg. Following it through the withering trees Kuma could not believe her eyes. There were mushrooms everywhere gnawing on the living trees and roots. Their infection spores made the air hard to inhale. This had to stop and even if she were to try and do it alone she might still need help.
Quickly opening up her menu, Kuma sent out a Ping for help to guild mates and all seeking aid in the taking out of mushrooms. Once the ping was sent, Kuma scooped the Badger up into her coat and went to work. Her claws whipped through the air as her buff kicked into place. “There ain’t no rest for the wicked.. The price of freedom is steep!”

Today wouldn't have only one wolf within, oh no. For another beast lurked within the forests today. Strangely wolf-like...but something was different, scales coated its being like a rash, mingling with the almost sickly fur. However, despite its appearance, this creature was not here to kill the forest. It was here to kill the murderers of said forest, and was doing so with frightening abandon .
It pounced out of nowhere, revealing itself in one terrifying second before a mushroom quite literally fell to pieces under its claws, another crunching under the weight of its jaws moments before it spat out a chunk with a disgusted groan. The voice was feminine, emphasized by her next words when she spotted the other Wolf across the battlefield, "Huh? Who the hell are you!?" A gout of poison cut her off and she puffed out a gasping breath before falling on it with a whirlwind of slashes...and she was growing as the action went on. She backed up slightly and tossed her monstrous head to the side, "Didn't know there was another fucking mutt with me! I'm stronger, get behind me and you won't die!"

W O L F can you hear the wind? let us feast on the enemy WORDS 334 NOTES 2/9 | Her body moved without delay, cutting and cleaving these mushrooms to bits. All the while her mind pinged her about the presence of another. While at first the other was no visible she knew she was not alone. Wheeling around Kuma pierced another mushroom before she heard the other approach. It was stealth like but still audible to her senses. At first there was a large air of caution as Kuma kept a distance between herself and the other.
There was unfamiliarity in their existence that separated them so. While the other tore away into her foe, Kuma hastily set the badger down from within her coat. As she did so a mushroom approach to which she swiftly bent back and cut it clean into ribbons once more. Her speed buff maxed out at the fifth marker making her body tremble with after images. ‘Did she just call me a mutt..?’ There was a familiar taste of disgust followed by an impassive expression.
Kuma bayed no order of the other female as she skated past her within the blink of an eye. The air smelled of decay and rotting fungus as Kuma and Drakka went about their garden clean up. Moving off into the thicket of the trees, Kuma used the darkness as an advantage to snare and shred enemies within the darkness. Her lone eye picked out her foes one by one. It did not bother her how strong the other was, nor was she afraid of death. There was nothing more annoying to the Wolf than another telling her what to do on a whim. Why should she have listened to the other, strength was not a factor at this point. Maybe the other could kill them faster than Kuma that did not make her desire to stay in her shadow any more.
Her lone eye observed Drakka in sheer silence and unknown emotion, she was unsure if she should be angry or just keep doing what she did best.. Kill things..

Of course, this little Wolf was too prideful to hide behind her. If it wasn't so fucking annoying, Drakka might have started to appreciate that sort of bravery. Instead, she let out a very vocal growl and smashed another mushroom completely flat. Another spray of pixels flooded the air as she swung her tail, tossing another batch of mushrooms through the air. She had to admit that the Wolf was doing rather well, her own eye rolling to catch sight of the person as she darted in and out of the darkness.
With a sly grin, Drakka herself vanished and swirled around in the shadows before attempting to spawn next to the Wolf, "Nice, very nice, but don't be a damn idiot, alright!?" She snarled, whirling around with a mighty roar just to claw another mushroom. "Fight with my pack, they'll help you fight, their badasses like that." She couldn't help but brag slightly as a Shadow Wolf spawned and chopped on the monsters, fighting like a mad creature. Drakka gave a terrible, sharp-toothed grin before leaping into the fray.

W O L F can you hear the wind? let us feast on the enemy WORDS --- NOTES 3/9 | Her body zig zagged as after images blitzed this way and that due to her speed buff. Stepping forward she spiraled away from Drakka. Taking a few paces in advance she accepted a smack in the leg before her claw shredded the mushroom to pieces. A purple hue focused around her body as she stepped in close to another mushroom. Avoiding the brunt of the punch she was grazed which pushed her buff up further.
Forward she rushed kicks and claws going everywhere while keeping slightly closer to Drakka. Perhaps the idea of having numbers wasn’t bad, but Kuma was still not convinced. Even as the woman and her pack jumped into a fray Kuma veered off to the side to take on her own cluster. Diving through them her claws streaked her targets purple. Their bodies rending apart by the sheer force and speed at which she moved.
“If your pack keeps up by all means.. Stick together..” Rushing up another tree Kuma travelled along the branches before dropping down behind a small group in front of Drakka. Clawing across the chest she cut two while another claw cleaved a mushroom in half. “These small fry are starting to dwindle.. Where’s the next wave..” Her question was soon answered as a lone tree covered in mushrooms came to life. The mushrooms upon its surface had brought this being to life by sheer number.
“Guess this is the next part perhaps?” Raising a brow her body darted off to the left side. With her right claw down towards the floor she continued to claw up enemies on the inside of her strike. The left hand remained low but close to her side. There were no words needing to be spoken as both buffs on Kuma maxed out. She was nothing but a purple blur that moved across through shadows and grass. A large bark hand smashed the ground where she once stood as it sought to catch her somehow.

Drakka launched into series of rude sounding grumbling as the Wolf, once again she might add, ignored the rather protective front of the newly forming Shadow Pack and rushed off on her own like some sort of idiot. Drakka's own buff had highly increased her size as the battle went on, with predictable effects n her attack and defense meaning she more or lessignored al attacks on her frame before she grew tired of it and shook them off for amazing damage. Naturally, this winning streak wasn't allowed to go on for any longer. Of course a fucking tree had to coming to life!
Drakka roared as it emerged, sounding irreversibly angry as it swatted one of her Shadow Pack into nothingness, reaching for another seconds before she collided with its arm and started tearing at it. Unlike the Wolf, the Lobisomem was in its face and slow, throwing everything away for a chance to destroy this monster.

W O L F can you hear the wind? let us feast on the enemy WORDS --- NOTES 4/9 | While Kuma had danced in and around the living tree, Drakka had taken it on full force. With a wicked grin the girl scampered up the back of the tree and went to work. Tearing into its back roughly her claws picked up speed. The level up in her buff had worked wonders when chipping the enemy down to nothing.
Spinning across the tree’s back she went for the arms. Going left first her clawed hands tore away at the core of the bark. Punching and rending the bark and core bits away. The tree’s swinging limb slowed in its assault to smash the shadow pack. “Watch yourself bark brain! Don’t smash on the pack!” She howled out grabbing a firm hold on the trees forehead she kicked the knotted core of the wood loose. Sending it out into the ground below the knot rolled over some mushrooms smashing them into the ground.
The giant limb crashed to the earth as the tree roared out. It attempted to pull Drakka out of its chest while trying to take an assault upon its back. It’s limbs wavered as Kuma and Drakka tore away at its body. On all sides trees were starting to rumble to life, yet Kuma was not worried about it.

Drakka yelped as a tree limb suddenly scored a blow across her back, drawing herself back momentarily before launching forward and digging her claws deep and tearing out a huge chunk out of the tree's substantial but dropping HP. One Shadow Wolf finally vanished as it took too many scratching blows, but was nearly immediately replaced by a healthy counterpart.
In desperation, the tree attempted to lift Drakka off of itself...and for a little bit, succeeded! Then her Scaled-Up took effect. A crack rang out, and she plummeted further down. Drakka swivelled her head and noted that the tree's were moving and tossed her monstrous head to the side. Her Pack responded instantly and ran to them, swirling around them and nipping already as Drakka pounded on the tree's last few HP.

W O L F can you hear the wind? let us feast on the enemy WORDS --- NOTES 5/9 | A crude smile crossed her lips as Kuma watched Drakka’s work. Admiration was perhaps the proper word to describe her joy in seeing the others work. Admittedly she was not as strong as the other but she would not be out done. Spiraling down the tree’s back she allowed Drakka to take the kill. Moving onward to the left she started from the bottom. Taking on one leg she worked to break it apart. Instead of going for the whole HP bar she went for the smaller limbs to contribute in the long run.
Her claws worked while her body zig zagged in between roots and bark knots. As she clambered her way up one leg a root quickly stroke her across the side. Nearly breaking her grip on its leg, Kuma pushed herself to continue as her damage counters increased. Skipping up ahead she jumped into the core of the tree. At first the root went to whip her again yet she pulled herself up in time for the tree to self-inflict damage.
Sticking her tongue out Kuma drove her heels home into the base kicking out a chunk of core before setting her body into a hard spin. With her claws and arms wide out she shredded bark and tender wood flesh sending a crimson aura about her body.

Drakka did fancy herself a great Hunter and fighter, but even she could barely even see the damned Wolf bounce around like a little monster, much less try to track her. She couldn't have asked for somebody better to help her (except for Rex, but that was an always thing) but it was really irritating to see in action...she had to step up her game now and show that she was the one helping, not the other way around!
Now with a purpose, she pointingly drove her back legs deep into the tree's trunk and felt a substantial ripping as she literally tore through its defenses. Sounds behind her pointed out the presence of more tree's coming to life, but they weren't nearby and with a single roar, her Shadow Pack set upon them. The ground shook with the simple slamming with the trees, but Drakka heard the hopeful sounds of ripping as one Shadow Wolf sacrificed itself to tear apart anther tree, or some swarmed a tree and refused to let up.
Instinctively, Drakka knew she had to help, and plunged her mouth down. The tree scrambled at her hide a split second before she tore away, shouting over her shoulder, "Its dead! Take it out."
