[attr="class","bw-border"] [attr="class","bw-bg"] [attr="class","bw-title"]death [attr="class","bw-desc"]death is, unfortunately, commonplace on broken war online™. in character terms this means your character dies. there is no respawn, there is no jolt back into the real world, there is no continuation. a player whose character dies also dies in the 'real world'. for you, as a roleplayer, death is a key plot device we hope you'll employ to keep the story from growing stale or predictable. we encourage you to look at everything, including your characters, through the cross-hairs and treat nothing about them as though it's sacred or protected. to that intention we have included challenges and incentives regarding character death that will hopefully improve your roleplaying experience.
to encourage roleplayers to treat the threat of being mortal in a video game with some realism we are offering to carry over a dying character's coin to a newly created character that hasn't yet posted. normally death equals the eradication of not only a character but all of their items and in-game money as well. we are offering that in-game money to your new character should you die by hard mode. if you wish to finish off any previous threads your now-deceased character is still in, you're free to do so, but you may only claim the coin inheritance once.
death received from death-enabled pvp works a little differently with inheritance for your next new character. essentially, the coin carried over is cut in half for losers of pvp. this gives you incentive to win.
