Before he could even send his friend request, he got one from Papilion. That was fast. He hesitated for a moment only from surprise, eyes flicking over the information on the screen before accepting it even as he knew what was there. For another utility, he'd be willing to send her another invite sometime. It was good to have someone who used their head at least once in a while.

Everything went even more smoothly than he would have hoped, right up until she proposed celebrating. In and of itself, it was fine; except that he avoided food. It wasn't that he hated eating outright, so much that at this point it seemed useless as far as he could tell. A waste of money that didn't even meet any need aside from flavor cravings. He understood that people might prefer it to keep some sense of normalcy, but he hadn't felt any different.

"I already ate," the small lie left his lips before he'd even thought about it, "But celebrating for once sounds good. Hell, I'll treat you." It seemed a good enough compromise. He did frown, glancing back over his shoulder. "Do you know of anywhere nearby that'd be good, or were you hoping to head somewhere else?" After all, if she had a decent enough mount, travel time would hardly matter. He didn't know what she was feeling like, after all.
