akeno Grinning broadly Jorumun laughed at the woman as she gazed through the menu with widened eyes. Perhaps he should have explained the list to her further? Perhaps he should have just gone hunting with the lass instead? Yet here they were taking her first steps at the ordering service. A chuckle rolled across his chest as both hands were placed behind his head. “Sunset Rum! Yum!!” His eyes turned from crimson to complete heart eyes. Tonight would be a night of stumbling and drunken rambling no doubt! Neither of them had to drive therefore there was only one commitment! Drinking!
As her words turned towards her adventures, Jorumun could not help but listen to her as she spoke about a Dragon once flying over these parts. He scratched his chin in hopes of remembering this story, but again he could not remember hearing about it if at all ever? Perhaps it was a close call on a quest he might soon discover..? Rubbing his chin once more the lad sat up in his chair. “I am glad for you as well.. There is nothing more painful than losing a friend and ally.. It is rare to find them and rarer still to keep them kindling and warm..” Frowning once again Jorumun turned his attention to his food. Slowly taking up his knife and fork he cut into his steak and began to eat like a beast. Several large platters of food were placed on the table as Jorumun began taking from each.
Pushing some well cooked Turkey and a steak onto her plate he gestured for her to try it with her curry. “Food is healing to the soul remember.. In your case I think remember that will help more than anything else..” Looking down lightly he continued to eat but his mind was on the upcoming floors ahead. Would he be strong enough to face them all head on..?

The Cannibal ate savagely. Having her meaty soup arrive in front of her, Akeno was soon stuffing her maw with pieces of this and that from her bowl, ripping through things with her razor edged teeth. Damn... She was actually surprised the food was so good. Perhaps she should go out to get food at these places more often. Or maybe she had just ordered the best thing on the menu.
"Eh, well, didn't really know any of the ones who died." She shrugged her shoulders, and as they fell back down, felt a little less heavy on the whole subject. "All my friends made it. Just sad to see people go, you know?" She reached for a jar of some spices, pouring it into her bowl, before she continued devouring it all by hand. Utensils were for wimps. "Other people's friends were lost. That's sad to me." She grumbled.
"OH BLAH!" It was really her first introduction to alcohol, in such a potent amount as well. Taking a sip from her mug, her face twisted up for a moment, before she coughed to the side. "That is... Blurg..." She grit her teeth growling at the mug, convincing herself not to be defeated by the beverage, and taking another swig. What could go wrong?

A large smile crossed the lad’s lips as he chuckled at her reactions. The light weight would soon learn the joys of drunken stupor! The night was still young and still people were setting up for the fireworks that night. Finishing up majority of the meal Mars took a large swig out of his mug. The liquid flowed down his throat like sweet honey from the hive. “Well that is true; when people die it is very depressing for the most part.” The thought was a bit sobering as he twirled the steak knife in his hand with practiced ease. The blade glinted in the fire light as his gaze locked onto Akeno watching her drink down more of the alcoholic beverage. “You should probably take it slow with the drink yeah?” Raising a brow Mars downed the remainder of his drink before grinning lightly. Would she be ready for the events of tonight? “I can only remember one situation where I witnessed someone perish. It was during a walk around the city.. I had bumped into this group of kids.. About seven to twelve years old.. An just like that.. Pixels and gawking expressions.. It was almost like a horror film..” Stabbing the knife into the table, Mars rose up off of his chair slowly. Looking towards the fire a slight chuckle crossed his lips. “Perhaps.. Maybe the GM was merciful enough to spare the kids..” Raising a brow as if it were possible, the reality of the fact was that it wasn’t true. “Shall we begin our adventures when you finish your drink?” made by wizz

Within The Cannibal, a certain sadness would dwell. A glum, lost feeling, that only truly came out on the subject of death. If she could change the world in any way, perhaps worldwide immortality would be her wish. Although that might bring consequences, Akeno thought little of those anyways.
"Mhm." As the subject shifted away from death, Akeno gave an affirmative nod to the younger looking character. "Once I defeat this... Thing..." She grit her teeth, growling at the glass. It seemed, every time she took a sip from it, it bit at her. She wondered to herself, what kind of people drink this stuff for fun?
There was still much of it left at the bottom of her mug after she'd finished her meal, and before anyone was going to stop her, she took the mug on full force. With her usual combat strategy of 'run in, kill stuff', she did just that, tossing the bottom of the drink up and gulping it down in record time.
As she let the bottom of the cup slam back down against the table, rolling onto it's side as she dropped the handle, she gave a triumphant, soft burp. She'd soon be feeling the affects of the drink, but at the moment, it had yet to disjoint her reasoning. With a hard knock against her chest, she nodded.
"Off we go!"

It was almost comical watching Akeno push to finish her food and beverage. Yet the lass did not fail to surprise nor accomplish her task of finishing the very potent drink. A large smile laced over his lips as he paid the tab for them both before taking Akeno by the hand. Taking her outside of the building he wanted to be sure she made it out with him before he let her go walk on her own. “Woo! Now that’s what I am talking about! You were a total badass back there!!” The rather stunned audience watched them leave. A few players gawked in awe at her prowess to finish the drink while others scowled at the noise. None the less their fun was just beginning and that was all that mattered! “Come come!! We have to go see the market stalls! They sell a lot of cool accessories!” Bouncing up and down he grinned deeply. The drink didn’t do anything but give the players like himself a taste of home. Alcohol came with the task of war and that just helped keep the mind on the target. “We can buy masks and even a better knife to clean your teeth with who knows!” Once the door closed behind them safely, the lad gently released Akeno’s hand. Soft.. Her hands despite being a killer like himself were soft to the touch. Awkward thing to take note of Mars, keep that shit to yourself. Turning his back to Akeno he beckoned for her to follow before leading the way towards the market stalls. Already kids were running around with sparklers and hand carved masks. That noise would soon fill the town when the festival was in full bloom. made by wizz

Akeno payed little mind to being tugged around by the boy, as he held her hand. She cared little, or at least thought little, of what others might judge her. Those sort of ideas weren't ones that came quick to the... Colorful, jumbled world she lived in.
"Whoa!" The Cannibal glanced around in awe, looking around that the festivities. Akeno loved these sorts of festivals regardless of what they were for. "Hah!" Chuckling to herself, she cackled at some unheard joke told by one of her four limbs. It seemed her mental friends within her own mind were more active under the effects of alcohol. Reaching thoughtlessly towards a mask of some kind, she pulled it over her head.
Suddenly, it was as though she had gone deaf and blind. The mask, covering her ears and eyes, seemingly made her senses go dim. Akeno spun in circles, her long hair only escaping through the back of the contraption on her face, swinging and swirling around her. Unpredictable, and less than bright, some passers by accidentally brushed into the spinning girl, others shuffling a distance away in order to avoid her.

The events that took place would almost seem like a blur for the most part. Grabbing a mask for himself, Jorumun grinned behind it as it latched on to his face. The world seemed narrower as the narrowed slit for eyes peered at Akeno with ease. Was she actually dancing? The music had not yet begun even as people bumped into them both. Others migrated around the other side as he approached her he ducked one of her limbs. Grabbing her hands on the next spin around he took a firm hold of her wrists in the process. Leaning his weight back he spun faster than she was going. Pushing her feet back with his own, he began to spin her around with her feet off of the ground. Drunken stupidity was something to be cherished by most. Others were unable to appreciate it at all, thus the groups of people took a wider arch around the spinning pair. “Wooo!!! Let’s go faster!!” His voice bellowed behind the mouthless mask. The more they spun the further away from the market stall he went in order to keep it standing. Soon however Jorumun’s grip somewhat loosened as he slowed down to let Akeno get her footing. He slowed them down to a halt before letting go. The world itself almost seemed to pitch and turn as the alcohol kicked in rather hard. “Let’s find something more!!” He said stumbling past her as one hand pulled her along again. made by wizz

Mainly disoriented, Akeno understood little of what was going on in the outside world around her, having her senses greatly muffled by the mask she wore. Perhaps she had put it on backwards, or rather this contraption was meant to mute, deafen, and blind the user. All she could make out was that someone, probably her companion, was spinning around with her.
Then, being pulled along, she gave a mental note affirming that this was her shorter friend, having been pulled around like this by him previously. Careful as to not lose her guide, her hand clung to his, in order not to die, lost and isolated within the festivities. Her other hand carefully fished around for an escape from the contraption.
Not yet finding it, she followed along, stumbling blindly after the younger looking boy, unaware of where they were going, what they were doing, or what in the world was going on around them.

akeno Jorumun stumbled every now and then as his senses returned to normal. He was headed for the fireworks display on the bridge that crossed to the other side of the town. This town event was something different according to the booklet left by those on the up and up. Slowing his pace he turned to watch Akeno fumble with her mask. Slipping his own off he pulled her down to her knees. Slipping behind her he undid her mask before setting it off to the side. “The heck.. You picked an awkward muffler mask you know that right?” Blinking he started to laugh before pointing at the firework stand. “They will light them off from here!! Do you wanna go out on a boat into the pond ahead to watch?” Looking down at her he stood at his full height before waiting for her to rise. She seemed to be very red in the face. If she was with him in real life he had no doubt she’d be fire hot from the alcohol within her blood stream. Chuckling slowly he wheeled around quickly pointing at lots of stall games for them to enjoy as well when the fireworks kicked off. The options were plentiful all Akeno had to do was make a choice! made by wizz

After being pulled down onto her knees, Akeno was finally free of her restraint! Her face was red from the alcohol and from the pressure that the mask had put onto her cheeks. "Thanks for freeing me from that thingy! I thought I was dead for a few moments there!" Ironically enough, she wasn't kidding, chucking and petting the back of her head as she exclaimed to her young looking friend.
"Oooo, boats." She clapped her hands together, as he described the idea. "Yea, yea, bo- oh- oh- ohhh, GAMES?!" Stall games, ranging from the ones that made you throw things like basketballs, to little trying to flick quarters into oddly shaped cups. Dashing over to one of them, she pulled the smaller one along with her. An archery game, a sign held up the rules. "WE GO BOAT AFTER GAME!"
One was to pick up a little replica bow and try to shoot a tiny arrow into a target across the stall. This game was meant to be difficult due to the size of the bow and target. Just before Akeno leaped up and took her first try, part of her stepped back, realizing she at least appeared to be the older figure in this transaction.
"You go first!" She took a step back, patting Jorumun on the back and pushing him closer to the counter. As a notification for the cost of the game came up on her screen, she thoughtlessly accepted, paying for the two of them to play.

akeno Chuckling lightly the lad stood straight up crossing his arms over his chest lightly. “No problem my red faced friend.. “ A large smile crossed his features as he watched her reactions to the two options available to them both. At first it was going to be the boats as a solid choice, yet when the games were brought up she was all for the games. As expected of such a young soul. Being dragged along the lad removed his mask to the side of his skull and laughed lightly. “Aye for sure!!” He spouted as they approached the archery stand swiftly. At first Akeno was going to go first which Jorumun was happy to oblige. Yet she suddenly changed her mind allowing him to go first before she herself went. How selfless? Raising a brow he was a bit confused on why she did such a thing, was she not younger tha--- Right.. Looking himself up and down a slight frown crossed his lips before turning into a smile. “Listen Akeno.. Don’t be embarrassed to lose against this old man.” He chuckled loudly before taking the bow in hand. With bravado he took up one of the arrows. Not even using the bow he threw the arrow perfectly through the holes with ease. The sticky end struck home with ease. Moving over to the next slot he did the same thing scoring a bullseye each time. Rolling both shoulders back he chuckled before placing the bow in her hands. “Good luck youngin~ Don’t let the game fool you.. I didn’t pick this body..” Grinning largely he stepped off to the side of the woman lightly. “Good luck!!” made by wizz

Akeno observed his strategy of throwing the arrow, carefully examining the idea of this game. She was not the most accurate, often getting some sort of divine intervention fortune whenever she decided to strike with her slingshot. Basically where she lacked in raw skill, it seemed she regained a little prowess in dumb luck.
"Okay, okay, I get it." She nodded, walking up to take the place where he was standing, staring emotionless at the target. "Explain to me the rules again?" Akeno asked, flicking her glance very briefly towards one of the npc workers.
"Well, you've just gotta strike the target. Can't step any further than the counter in front of you there." He pointed towards the counter. Akeno nodded, listening to the rules of the game. Reaching back, it appeared she was raising a hand do scratch her own back. Though, much to the worker's disarray, when her hand came flinging back down, a her knife was flung from her palm.
"Hah!" Striking the target in the center, the blade plummeted into the target. It wouldn't have been a surprise if the large, barbaric weapon had broken the small stand, created to absorb the brunt of strikes from smaller, lighter projectiles.
The npc who had been telling her the rules, nearly severed into a second piece by the flung knife, fearfully stumbled back. Once he regained himself, he moved to pull out the blade and return it to The Cannibal, who harshly ripped it from his grasp.
"NOW, TO THE BOATS!" Akeno raised a finger to the sky, in a heroic pose.

akeno A large smile crossed the young lads face at Akeno took her place at the line. Asking for instructions once more, Mars masked his smile behind his mask. There were two possible options that could unfold before the NPC and the War Machine. Either the woman would fail with the bow or… TADA!! His second assumption was correct! The knife left her hand with tragic accuracy, it was so beautiful too. The smile grew ghastly as his tummy was tickled pink by the NPC’s terrified expression. “What a woman!” Jorumun exclaimed before watching Akeno point their next heading. Giving a mocking salute he stood at a soldiers attention. “Aye! Ma’am!” Reaching out the lad took both of the prizes from the stall owner. Taking her by the hand he led her to the boats in a rather calm fashion. Despite the drunken impairment he was in a calm state of mind. Something that alcohol had done for him in the real world. “You were so cool back there!! Did you see his face! He nearly peed his pants!!” Handing her a giant stuffed panda h kept the koala for himself. Placing it upon his back he stepped up to the docks with joy. Boating had to be his favorite activity especially swimming. Moving up to a rather large boat he accepted the payment charge to ride the boat for two. Stepping down into its core the male turned to Akeno and helped her inside. Taking up the lone oar he began to steer and push them out to the lakes center. They were not alone of course as they glided across the cool surface. There were many others coupled up as dates and some in giant party boats. Drinks were being served all around on the party boats. Luckily the game allowed swimming as well-meaning players could dive into the water and enjoy the fireworks to come. “Let’s prep for some fireworks yea?!” Giving her a thumbs up the lad kicked back placing the oar on the interior of the boat. Looking up at the sky he chuckled, curiosity came over him and it made him wonder. “So.. I am curious.. Who were you in the past life..?” made by wizz

"Ehehehe..." Akeno chuckled nervously as she was praised for her rule breaking, insane antics. Usually, the response she got from that sort of thing was the opposite. Her guild mates or adventuring pals commonly scolded her for those kinds of activities. "Thanks, I suppose." She laughed, a joke from her left palm causing her to laugh, before a snide comment from the limb struck her the wrong way, causing her to hit the back of the crude humored hand with her right.
"Boat, boat, boat." She chanted, as the pair made their way onto one of the buoyant vessels. Letting the stuffed panda rest upon her shoulders, with a leg on either side, she promptly piggybacked the plush. Sitting back, she let the smaller, younger looking one do the work with the oar, paddling them along.
"Past life?" Akeno pondered the though. The she assumed he meant her life before the game. Though... That was something she had little memories of. "Erm..." The Cannibal though hard, only getting her usual flashback images. One of a city, one of a younger girl, one of a family. Was that her with the family? No? She wondered what she looked like outside of the game.
"Oh, heh!" She waved a hand in the air, "I zoned for a sec, sorry!" How to respond, she wondered. Shaking her head, she decided immediately. She'd lie. "I was a champion boxer! Pow pow, I took guys out left and right. My one-two punch, oh, hit 'em so hard their relatives feel it, yano!" She hoped to at least inspire the visibly youthful boy. Akeno put on a visual show as well, shadow boxing a bit.
