Alright! Let's take this show on the road. Ater was a little disappointed that he didn't hear about this sooner. What made it worse was that someone already got one of the loots. Hell, if he'd gotten here sooner, he was sure he could have gotten one already and be out of this place in no time. He wasn't afraid of ghosts or curses, but in a game, those were bound to appear. And just like any other game, he went 'screw it' and went in charging through the first parts of the ruins, convinced that all those people who got here before him already opened up whatever they could find.
No, he had to get deeper into the ruins to increase his chances. As much as he would have loved to tangle with the local mobs, there was no need for it. Let the others take them out for him. Already he could see a lot of players ahead looking for the treasure chests. A little further forward then, where the number of people were fewer, meaning there won't be a lot of them to fight over the loot.
He remembered something about finding treasure buried under rubble from the NPCs, so that was his best bet. Finding a relatively uncrowded area in the ruins, he immediately went scanning for places where a hidden treasure chest might fit under. Or behind...
Ater circled around the ruined pillars, looking under small niches made by crumbled architecture, and moving every piece of scenery he could out of the way. Then BINGO! He found what looked to be a rusted chest. Looking around to make sure no one could snatch this from him, he kicked the chest to make sure it wasn't a mimic. Getting no reaction, he opened it with his fingers crossed.
