Walking the fields that stretched far and wide, on the back of his tusked beast, adorned with spikes all over and a mask as menacing as heck, the brawler would yawn as he swayed lightly side to side.
He got a notification of a new bounty being made and felt like he could get a piece of that action while it was up. But... he had no idea where it could be. Sure, this valley was mostly flat and it should be easy to spot, but also this thing is about the size of any normal player, he had no idea where it could be hiding.
He would only find it when the sudden sound of a bloodcurdling shriek reverberated through the valley.
"There it is."
He'd say partially to himself but loud enough for the mount to hear.
Opening his friends list, the brawler would quickly scroll down to invite June, his friend as well as guild mate to help him out with this bounty. He could do it alone, but he felt like she needed a little time in the sun.
Sending the invite with the message, "Weird bounty, come fight." attached to it, the brawler would keep an eye out for the enemy before him, making sure to stay out of its aggro range before backup arrived.Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

WORDS 256 NOTES 1/8 | June was puzzled when she received a message from Draum. Weird bounty? All the bounties in the game were weird. Hell, she still couldn't get over the fact that Ragnarok the Unbreakable had jewels between his legs. If the other bounties weren't weird that one sure was. With a slight shrug June would descend from the upper floor of the inn she was staying in and out the door. The moment she was out the door June's hearing was flooded with the sounds of people from the nearby market. NPCs yelling over and over about their products and at players that tried to make off with their goods without paying.
Pushing past the crowd of people June made her way to a small clearing in the village. Once there she materialized her pterodactyl with the click of a button got on for a ride. The flight over was long and boring. By the time the support was at the edge of the valley she could hear faint screeches. Flying towards the sound instead of Draum June would descend to get a closer look at the pale bounty when it came into view. That was June's first mistake. As soon as they got into range the revenant's hand shot out and grabbed hold of the flying mount. One moment the support had been flying through the air and the next moment she was being yanked down towards the ground in the blink of an eye. "Jesus fucking Christ!"
Spiraling towards the ground June braced for impact.

Waiting patiently for the gemini to arrive, Draum would equip his gauntlets and start to pet his mount all over. Humming as he scratched the spikes all over Lil' Nubbins' body, he would smile. At least this would keep him busy until the other player decided to show her face.
He'd start to scratch Lil' Nubbins' belly to the beat of his own humming, it getting more and more lively as he continued, but he'd be cut off when he heard the sound of something other than the screams of the damned. Something like a loud thunk to the ground.
Pushing the mount over onto it's legs, the Brawler would hop onto its back, patting it to run forward, into the view of the boss. That was when he saw it, his friend, smacked down to the ground, caught up with her weird bird thing.
Staring for a bit in horror, he'd rush forward, bashing the head of his mount into the bounty, it being the size of a player, easy to knock away as he hopped off and ran to Junes aid.
Looking all heroic he would rush to stand over her, flinging the hood off as he pulled his hair back. Standing over her he would start to lean down, only to burst out laughing.
"YOU DUMBASS, HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET YOUR ASS KNOCKED OUT OF THE SKY!"
Busting a gut he'd stand upright, tilting his head back as he continued to laugh, gasping for air in the process. Tears would start to form in his eyes as the laughing started to fade.Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

WORDS 311 NOTES 2/8 | Everything rushed by in a blur, June's body twirling and jerking as she fell off the mount and through the air. Breathing was an impossibility as the wind hit her. When the utility player opened her mouth it felt as if she was suffocating. The worst part of it all was that it felt as if time had slowed down. Her suffering felt like an eternity. Closing her eyes June waited for the inevitable.
A plume of dust and pixels were sent skyward as the gemini's body hit the ground. Pain seared throughout the entirety of her body. As Draum stood over her June couldn't make out a single word he said, the ringing in her ears far louder than any volume he could muster. Chunks of pixels were missing all throughout her body, a display of the 13% health she had remaining. Lips moved as June would attempt to give a snarky remark about the situation but no words came out. Instead all that came out was a scratching sound. Her face grimaced.
With the last finger she had on her left hand that wasn't missing or broken June traced the astrological sign for gemini in the dirt. The index finger trembled as moved across the ground. Once complete her hand would fall limp on the symbol, the cast animation for Doppelganger completed. Beside the utility player pixels would build up the clone from the ground up. With a stomp and a screech towards the bounty it would cast a chain heal onto its caster and take on the form of an angel. Charging towards the pale beast now the doppelganger tossed up dirt with each stomp it took.
As her health would bump up by a measly 5% June found her voice returning. "Some turbulence happened, what do you think?" The words came out slowly, piece by piece.

His laughter starting to lighten more and more as the situation got less funny, he would wipe a tear from his eye, flicking it away as it pixelized into the air. Putting a hand on his hip as he let out a deep sigh, he would open his inventory taking out a potion, kneeling down to pour it on her face, her health starting to trickle up slowly.
Rubbing her head as if she was an injured animal he would coo to her, “Don't worry little fella, me and your clone’ll take care of this, hold your strength.”
Coming to a stand he would roll his shoulders a bit, recalling the mount, then equipping a new pair of chain Gauntlets. After that was all done he would go about activating his usual old skills, Raging Aura, Fury’s Incarnation, then top that off with a couple new skills, Rising Rage and Fury’s Requiem, his four arms becoming encased in the same chainmail as his gauntlets.
With him being all set for battle, he would activate Close the Gap, rushing in before the clone and delivering a right hook with both of his right arm, grabbing the bounty with his left arms and holding them out for the clone to beat into. He felt bad for essentially laughing at a corpse, so he might as well have shared a little of the killing with the Gemini, even if it was more of an assist. .Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

WORDS 195 NOTES 2/8 | "We're like, the same height" the gemini grumbled as she was treated like a child. As Draum would wander off to fight the bounty June would lay still in the soil broken from her impact. Off in the distance she could hear the sounds of the battle as it began. It was nothing close to quiet. Both the doppelganger and the bounty's voices range clear across the valley as they would shout back and forth between each other. As the revenant's body was held out as a punching bag the doppelganger treated it as such. Delivering blow after blow on the bounty it would become wilder and wilder before freezing in place as it was stunned. Smashing its fists against the revenant's head the doppelganger brought it smashing down onto its knee just as the stun would wear off.
Enraged a hand white as snow would go flying through the air, blood gushing from the open wound. Flying at the attacker at an angle from the right it would attempt to clasp onto his neck and bring him down. The revenant wasn't going to let him get away with giving it a smack down.

Keeping a grip in the bounty with one pair of arms, Draum would have to use the strength of his other pair, to keep the bounty's boss from flailing back at him.
He hadn't expected the power from the clone to come so suddenly and wildly as it did. It was a pleasant surprise.
As the revenant was dropped to a knee, Draum would drop his grip, his support to keep it up not being needed anymore. He'd start to go in for an attack but be pushed into guarding, his forearms blocking the attack. But the bounty wasn't done there, with it's attack being blocked it would resort to grabbing him, smashing him around a bit before it flung him away.
Landing on his back into the dirt that wasn't so far off, the brawler would let out a huff. Once again, he underestimated the strength of another, leading him to getting pushed around.
Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

WORDS 221 NOTES 4/8 | Slowly June's health bar began to rise, slowly yet surely. Casting constellation on herself the healing spell bounced to the brawler as he took damage from the bounty. The feeling in her legs began to return and the pain slightly subside. Entire body trembling June slowly rose onto her two feet before she would ball back on her ass. Next time the gemini was going to take United for her flight. That way she'd at least go through a fraction of the pain she was feeling now if she got beat up and thrown out the plane.
Sitting on the ground all June could do now was sit and watch for the most part. Enough health back to cast abilities she would cast airflow on Draum, gusts of air flying off his body at the bounty as it would run at him. Jumping at the fallen attacker the revenant would attempt to pin him to the ground and beat the life out of him. June's doppelganger did nearly the same. It'd been running after the bounty and as it jumped it did as well, creating a dogpile on Draum if he wasn't fast enough to move out of the way. All June did was laugh at the scene in front of her, which immediately sent a pain running through her body.

Watching as June got to her feet, shaky legs and all, he would smile, she was okay even with her condition being the way it was. He shouldn't be surprised though, she was pretty tough after all.
But, with his attention being off the battle, he'd let the bounty get an upper hand on him, it hopping on him the clone following behind. Letting out a pained cough he'd look up at the dog pile, only to be greeted by the revenant's face, screaming into his own. Sucking his teeth as he put a hand over the creatures mouth, he'd put his over three arms under them, tossing them off with little strain.
Sighing as he came to a stand, rolling his arms, he'd lock his eyes on the target, rushing towards the revenant as it started to regain its bearings from the toss. After delivering a single punch to the jaw of the bounty he would continue to deliver jab after jab, not letting it regain itself any more than it could, letting his partner ready herself so she could get more action than her clone.Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

WORDS 277 NOTES 5/8 | As the revenant would try to break free it would only be met with punch after punch, and eventually the entire body of the doppelganger on top of it. Hand on the bounty's throat the doppelganger would join in on the beatings Draum was giving out. Dealt directly to the head it would only cause the revenant to grow wilder and wilder. Each thrashing of its body in an attempt to break free was stronger than the last. The same went for the doppelganger's attacks. Each attack was seemingly full of rage, a face contorted from rage only supporting the idea.
Up and up the doppelganger's health bar went from its life steal. Each basic attack restored a fraction of health and every third triggering a stun. A brief pause in the revenant's struggles. Pixels fell away like a wave off the doppelganger as it would lose its angelic form. At this moment the bounty struck. The white hand flew in front of the doppelganger's face as the pixels fell away, using it as an opportunity to go unnoticed. Extending two fingers the hand would surge forward, stabbing the utility's clone right in the eyes. Body flying back the doppelganger cried out in pain, hands clawing at the revenant's fingers kept on digging into the its eyes.
Casting a chain heal it the gemini's clone tried to negate both the pain and the damage it was taking. It had little affect on itself, but restored enough health to its caster to get her up and running. "Fuck you" June shouted as she would kick the revenant in the side of the head like a soccer ball.

He'd stop his attacks as the bounty went into the offensive, attacking the not so angelic clone as an opportunity appeared before it. Drum would cringe a bit as the slender white fingers of the revenant stabbed into the eyes of the clone, but he couldn't turn away. It was disgustingly interesting to watch.
His attention would only shift as June finally came into battle, a smirk appearing on his face.
"About time you got your lazy ass up, I was thinking that I'd actually have to beat this thing with your support clone and not the support personally."
As his skills started to fade off he'd side eye the bounty then look back to June.
"I'll let you lead. You've probably got a grudge against him and I know how it feels to not get that out."
The smirk would turn more and more into a smile as he spoke, awaiting her actions after he finished.Get out of the way or go down like the rest.

I'm sore all over." Taking on her angelic form the gemini's hands would surge forward, plucking the revenant's dismembered body part from her doppelganger. Her arm wheels backwards before surging forward as she would toss the hand far away. It wouldn't be troubling the party for a while. Casting airflow a thin layer surrounded June's body, gusts of air erupted from it to pelt the revenant with minor damage.
Flames fell away from the utility player's gauntlets as the weapon's form shifty, changing from an intricate design depicting an angel to that of a demon. Cracking her knuckles June looked over the bounty for a moment, her foot digging into its face all the while. Bringing her armored fist crashing down into the bounty's June could feel teeth fall away from the blow. As her fist would slide into the bounty's mouth however it would latch down to the best of its abilities. "This fuckers trying to munch on my god damn hand, you believe this shit?"Stabbing the revenant in the eyes with her other hand June waited out the attack. One party had to give and it wasn't going to be her.

He’d speak out as she went into the fight, feeling as if his words would encourage her somehow. He would continue to stay behind as all his skills went into cooldown, a normal look about himself with just the gauntlets equipped, the brunette would cross his arms as he watched her fight.
With her switching the look of her gauntlets mid battle, the brawler could help but find it… hot. And hot it was with those new gauntlets of hers making flames and all. He’d watch her with a small smile forming on his face as she stuffed her fist into the bounty’s mouth. She looked like she was having fun.
“Oh, speaking of munch, after this let's go get a bite to eat. I’m paying, just to, yanno, make up for laughing at your corpse and all that.” He still felt pretty bad about doing that earlier, and food is the way to anyone's heart, he knew that surely.

WORDS 179 NOTES 7/8 | The doppelganger sat and watched as its caster fought with the bounty. Slowly the revenant's health bar descended and so did the gemini's, neither party gave into the pain they had to endure. Pixels began to fall away from both sides, a small pixel here and there for June while her opponent's head slowly deteriorated. Till finally its health bar reached zero they fought, pixels erupting as a sign of victory. Breathing heavily June sat still, the shape of the revenant's body ingrained in the dirt beneath her.
"Not gonna lie I'm leaning towards just heading home and sleeping." June rose to her feet, casting a healing spell as she did so. Off to the side her doppelganger began to fall away into pixels as June turned off both the active for it and her angelic form. Swept away by the wind the pixels would go on and become a part of ecosystem. They became part of a growing blade of grass, a sprouting sapling. "What type of place you got in mind though? Might tag along."

Watching intently at the display of power between each side in the one on one fight, the winner of it already obvious based on the sheer amount of pixels flying around, Draum would fidget a bit. He couldn't help feeling like he was missing out on the action; he was ready to rush in and punch just as June had been, but would hold himself back, out of common courtesy for his friend. As she finished the bounty off with a few more knocks to its head, he’d give a nod of approval.
“Oh, I was thinking an Inn or something like that. You can get something to eat then sleep right after. I said I’ll pay for it all, don't worry about anything.”
With a slight smile on his face, he’d gesture forward, awaiting for her to take the lead. “C’mon, it’ll be fine, plus I wanna get to know you better than just that chick that punches good and tags along with Aleister and I when we do stuff.” Waiting for her answer, he’d stand by idly, the invitation figuratively lingering in the air.
