We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. hat the hell was this nonsense? First thing Sigund remembered was being trapped in the city square during some really pointless news. Before that he had just about earned himself a new material for making some better armor for his brutish habits. Now he was back at the beginning with nothing to show for the days previous efforts. With a gentle roll of his shoulders the male narrowed his crimson gaze upon the world. "Tedious I tell yah.. The Game Master has made my restart to progress a tedious one." Mumbling to himself lightly he took a breath of air to clear his thoughts. First things first Mar's needed something to do in order to renew and rejuvenate his dried up well of desire. His optics scanned left and right as the different buildings held different meanings and options. There were of course quests to gather materials or even help out around the shop. No.. These tasks did not offer him the thrill he sought.. He needed something with zest, something that fit his style of work. Combat! Mars slowly stroked his chin as he sauntered forward through the Town of Origins. Every now and then someone would reach out and pat his head as if he were a child. An to the naked eye he indeed looked like a child, having the look and build of a freshman high school student Mars was helpless to fend off the social thought. Not that it mattered anyways, he could not change his height nor youthful appearance, what he could do was throttle those little asshats. This way they understood just how dangerous and thirsty he was for any small reason to cause mayhem. Thus was his nature and calling within the games parameters, when the system had done its job of scanning him in the system automatically updated him with a class and path. 'War Machine.. Sounds about right..' The thought pleased him and made him smile like a dumb founded idiot as he strolled through the crowded streets. After several minutes of travel the lad stopped before the barracks in the city, there seemed to be a bit of a problem. Just what he was looking for! Honest work made for a man like himself! With a grunt and bellow of his voice, he caused the crowd of NPC's to part and allow him to see the flyer. 'Help Wanted, the Town of Origins is in need of Teachers in order to raise up its own city guard. Please if you have any skill and knowledge about combat and are willing to teach and share please step into the Barracks. Speak with Captain Kuback, you will be rewarded for your work! Thank You.' The note itself seemed pretty simple and straight forward, teach some lacky punks to defend themselves and what they loved. How noble and disgusting the thought sat like mud in his mouth. Turning to the side to spit he grinned once more. Regardless of how he felt about the situation, this meant he could easily go about causing some level of destruction and discomfort to those who didn't follow instruction. Nodding his head at the thought Mars hastily bustled into the barracks, throwing the door open roughly it slammed against the wall. "Kuback! I am here to take you up on your quest offer!!" Sauntering forward the man placed his hands on the Captain's desk and waited for a response. There was no doubt he could handle this task alone! The question was would the NPC allow him such an honor?

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Amidst the bustling streets of the town square resided the oh-so-hopeless romantic. Blood painted the edges of his clothing yet none would speak of it. In a game such as this, combating monsters, fiends, and even people were simply part of the job. Whom he decided to kill, when, and where could all be masked by one simple word . . "Quest".
It was the perfect alibi, a game like this! He could show as many ladies as much love as he desired and nobody would punish him for it! Unlike the real world with consequences far beyond his knowledge. Of course, you can't have consequences if you don't get caught. He giggled, chuckled, smirked, and snickered through a sea of individuals who would be none-the-wiser; a secret pleasure to indulge in from time to time for the one formally dubbed "Nightmare".
As much as he enjoyed strolling however, he'd grown worried for the mental state of his blade. As of late it hadn't had any action, a reason to slide itself against the soft skin of an unsuspecting individual. He nearly cried for his blade, unsure of if it would get the chance until he found himself in another ques--
"Wait a minute, my love. I think we may have something."
The sounds of swords clashing could be heard in the distance. Quickly rushing to identify the source, he soon found himself before the barracks; a letter then being presented to the ripper as he approached. "In need of aid? Training the local militia?" He crumbled the piece of paper within his hand, a smirk stalking cheek to cheek as he nigh-skipped his way inside.
"Kuback! I am here to take you up on your quest offer!"
What's this? It seemed another had been just as interested in "teaching" the local citizens a thing or two. Making no attempt to hide himself, he appeared by the player's side with wide eyes and a bright smile. "Kuback! I would also like to take you up on your quest offer!" While he may have giggled on the outside, there was no denying that the interior thought differently.
"This player next to me seems to look the part, I wonder if this dog has any bite to his bark?" As he awaited both the player and the NPC's response, he continued to analyze them both for future intentions.

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. uback looked up from his paper work as Mar's approached with a heat of passion. This had to be the first fiery response he had gotten all day for his request. Narrowing his gaze his first impression of Mar's was of that of a man viewing a child. Youthful ignorance seemed to guide this boy to Kuback's desk, but that was not the lest of it. Not one boy but two boys had now come up to him seeking to train with the Militia and help them with their ranks. The mans brows furrowed as he regarded them both with question and concern. "Welcome to the Barracks children.. We graciously accept your help, but first I must ask. Are you both truly old enough to wield a weapon properly? We can if needs be get you suited up to sit and wait for real adventurers to come and help out with this task. We aren't in the business of harming children." The man gave a somewhat twisted smirk as he disregarded their intent and instead made fun of their small stature. Off to the side a few NPC guards gave a short chuckle to share in their Captain's amusement. At first Mar's ignored Jack's approach, but when the other males presence settled in Mar's couldn't help but take note. The scent of blood old and new greeted his pixel nose as the Battle Innate passive kicked on in his bones. A sort of adrenaline high simply from smelling blood, this brought him to question the other mans intentions. But before he could do so, Kuback had spoken words that were a sin in the book of man's interaction with another. Observing Jack slowly he did take note that they both shared the misfortune of looking like children while being way older than their appearance. Crimson hues with a quirked brow blazed with aggression and passion before Kubacks desk. "Hey you snot faced fuck! Listen here!" Mar's was ruthless as he reached out and yanked Kuback forward to look him dead in the eyes. The soldier was more than taken aback by the simple strength factor Mar's had. "Don't you ever disrespect us ever fucking again! Remember you asked for this help and we offered! I'd gladly side with those you fight just for the thrill of killing your spineless ass.. Then again! You don't look like you offer much of a fight!" Upon his last word, Mar's shoved the man back hard into his wooden chair. The object tilted back before slamming forward nearly ejecting Kuback from his spot. Taking a step to the side, Mar's gave Jack the space he needed in order to speak his mind to Kuback before they were to start this assignment.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] Class acts, the lot of them. Upon entering this "oh-so-elegant" establishment and introducing himself, he was immediately underestimated and undermined by the head of the town's militia. He'd wondered if these two possessed the strength to achieve even the simplest of goals. He'd made the mistake of assuming his age, something many unfortunate souls found themselves doing outside of this world. The other player - now formally dubbed "Hot-head", reached over and gripped Kuback by the collar; spouting of a bunch of nonsense pertaining to the lad not underestimating them due to their appearance. After letting him go, he stepped back and looked towards him as if he'd been giving him the floor. Feeling as if he was nigh-obligated to step up to the task, he gave a light sigh. "Alright then, I will indulge your theatrics for now"
A fellow militia man entered the room, anger exuding from his being as he glared down Hothead. "Perfect!" Jack clapped his hands together, the NPCs' attention focused upon him as he spoke. "Mr. Kuback, you are most certainly right about one thing. I've certainly a youthful appearance, however that isn't all there is to know!" He began to wag his finger in a tsk tsk motion "No no no, that simply isn't true. As a man of love such as myself, I can use this body to sneak into local schools undetected." He withdrew the knife from his pocket "And do you know what I do in these schools, Mr. Kuback?" He looked toward the soldier, a wicked smile plastering his visage as Jack held a severed finger in his hand; said soldier realizing he'd been cut mere moments after.
"I make love..." It began with one chuckle, then two then three "Despite their lack of tolerance to such, I make such beautiful love with every innocent girl I can find. Sometimes it isn't just innocent girls though, I'm fairly open to trying new things, you know? I like to think that makes me some kind of extrovert or something." The soldier, screaming in pain, attempts to draw his fast back to strike the lad. "Oh?.." Suddenly, the soldier's entire being halted, bestilled by the genuine fear he felt gazing into Jack's eyes. "You're still here? That's great then; though you aren't a woman so I'm afraid that flattery will get you nowhere." As Jack's smile widened brightly, he looked towards Kuback and spoke clearly.
"Now, if you don't want that sweet girl you've got framed on your desk to suffer a worse fate? I suggest you take us to the training grounds, okay?!" He giggled lightly "I would greatly appreciate it!"

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. rough smile crossed Mar’s face as his blood boiled a bit higher. This man Jack was somewhat of a freak and creep, but he liked those kinds of people. Those who sought to make peoples skin crawl, now those were people he could get behind. In the real world he was just a child soldier so acts of violence were all he knew. A dark shadow fell across Kuback’s face as he raised his hand to stop the both of them. A fear indicator stuck next to his health bar as he wobbled to his feet, the Captain gestured for the guards to part. They did so with caution in the air and a desire to live, with a curt nod and gesture Mar’s allowed Kuback to lead them to the court yard for the fight at hand. Stepping up behind the man Mar’s followed him closely; he remained quiet and made no move to further humiliate the man. Jack’s fear skill was something not to be trifled with; a tick marker for Mar’s to beware of. After a swift left and right they descended down some steps into a large open courtyard. There troops were lined up shoulder to shoulder doing their best to look intimidating. Mar had to give Kuback a little credit; if he were an untrained fighter himself these men might have scared him by face alone. Yet monsters were not born of expressions they were born of actions and facts placed into a person’s head. Kuback slowly stepped aside to let Mars and Jack through before shouting out orders. “Alright you lot! These two gentlemen have gladly offered to train with you in order to improve your talents. Step up and show them what you are made of!” Kuback’s voice held a note of power and anger. The air about the men shifted as their leader’s words of inspiration called them to Rally. ‘That’s a pretty neat skill to have.. .’ Mar’s thought to himself lightly turning to look over at Jack he wondered what was going through the lad’s head at this point. Placing both hands behind his back, Mar’s equipped his shield on the right arm and his spear in the left hand. It was a bit strange no doubt to see a left handed spearman, but at the same time there were not many left handed soldiers. Those who fancied the Phalanx made sure all men were right handed with weaponry. His favorite nation from historical times was Sparta. Their savage and yet elite fighting force gave him the inspiration he needed most days to fight. Adjusting his shield gently the man stepped forward and raised his shield before placing the spear point over the top. Mar’s was more than ready as the men split up into formations and slowly readied themselves. They waited for their Captain’s orders to begin.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] As expected, Kuback immediately reconsidered his actions and ordered all of his incoming men to stand down. The fear that exuded from his being was delightful, to consume it would beckon only the sweetest of flavors. Following this, he'd led Jack and the other to the training grounds. Whilst in the process of this, Jack took it upon himself to learn the other player's name; hovering his finger over their being as it appeared out of thin air.
"Jorumun.." he thought to himself "A name befitting The War Machine."
They'd finally arrived, a fair amount of soldiers standing before the chief. As he introduced them, the dagger now held behind Jack's back began to turn a deep dark black. Not a second after his introduction, Jack moved incredibly fast (or at least in the mind of NPCs); his blade crashing into the arm of a nearby soldier.
"Clara..is that you?" The soldiers immediately identified the name as the man's daughter. "Oh Clara, you've come back to me." The remaining militia stared in horror as the soldier desperately clung to Jack's frame. It was at this moment that Jack began to speak.
"Daddy..." his expression dropped "You're pathetic." Horror struck the soldier as he entered a panicked frenzy "N-No, Clara! Your dad did everything he could to protect you! Even until your last breath he was still looking!" Jack adopted a sinister grin "Then why am I dead?" Dread washed over these soldiers, unable to move, unable to speak; simply watching as Jack displayed his strength.
"I died because you weren't strong enough to protect me. That's why mommy left you isn't it? She blames you for my death! How can a soldier who fights to protect this town not even protect his own daughter?! Talk about weak!" Crying hysterically, the soldier's arms began to unravel as Jack held a dagger to his own throat. "I will show you the pain that I endured while you were too weak to do anything to stop it! Watch, Daddy, watch and feel the pain that no amount of prayer can take away!"
As Jack pretended to stab himself, the blade just nearly reaching his neck each time, the soldier's eyes widened as his body completely froze; falling over into a slumped position that shook feverishly every so often. "This...my dear soldiers, is strength." He turned to them, spinning the blade carelessly with his fingers. "Not physical strength - no." He tapped his skull with the blade "Fear. Fear controls anything and anyone without the need of physical strength. You instill fear into a soldier's heart and they're no worse than a common insect. Left to be stepped on by whomever's feet come before it." Looking toward Jorumun, he gave him a light wink before continuing.
"I will now give the floor to Lt. Jorumun who will further instruct you in this lesson." He gave a light bow "Instructor, if you would?"

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. f the incident inside wasn’t bizarre enough, then this show and tell would definitely qualify as bizarre. The fact that Jack could access ones memories and fears was something on a whole new battle front. Mar’s liked it with a hint of reverence. Respect might have been a better word for how he felt about Jack’s abilities. ‘A demon of a man indeed..’ The thought rolled through his mind with ease, he wondered what he might see if he were struck by the man’s skill. Wrinkling his nose he welcomed the title with a bit of a smirk and chuckle. He was nowhere near a lieutenant’s level of ability, but he would show them the works none the less. “RRRRAAAGGHHHHH!” He shouted out letting his battle cry fall over all those within the court yard. Fear struck their nerves but it soon turned to rage as many raised their swords. “Come test your metal!!” Gnashing his teeth harshly the lad stepped up to the nearest person. Swinging down with his shield he activated the skill Thrasher allowing him to strike the blade aside. With a savage back hand his shield struck him on the soldier’s chest. The strike sent the man backwards causing him to collapse into two more people before Mar’s averted a slash on his left. Sending it further left and to the ground the shield struck home across the skull of the unfortunate man. Dropping to one knee as he came around to face the next fighter, Mar’s held the shield out before himself while angling the spear to aim right into the others jugular. “Fighting with tactics and as a team is another thing. If you come alone you may be torn to ribbons.” The soldier had just stopped short as a bead of sweat dripped down onto Mar’s spear head. “Remember to work in formation! Whatever you do! Fight to the last man, there is no greater shame than letting someone you care for die..” Frowning deeply the man swatted Mar’s spear aside to resume his downward arching slash. Rising up with the shield he knocked it back before once more Using the butt end of the spear to send the man stumbling and coughing back and away. Standing on both feet he dusted his pants off before smiling broadly. “Well Come on chaps! Let’s have at thee!!”

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] "Ahh.."
As Jack witnessed Jorumun's lesson, he learned quite a lot about the lad. The manner in which he carried himself showed through his blade. Through this blade, Jack learned of the many years his partner had to have wielded it. Like him, Jorumun was trained; whether it was self-taught or militaristic was another matter entirely. Regardless, it was something to be admired. It wasn't every day you ran into such a like-minded individual.
"He is a man of romance as well, it seems."
By this, one could speak on Jorumun's lust for bloodshed. He hadn't the slightest bit of fear as he struck which meant he'd struck hard and with the intention to kill them; even if he held back slightly. Jorumun was no stranger to the art of killing, in fact, one could speculate that he may've initiated a great deal of the battles he entered. . This could be of great use to him in the future.
While in thought, one of the soldiers attempted to sneak up from behind and slide their sword down on his right shoulder. Just before he could, Jack looked behind him; his grin widening as he'd activated the first of three abilities. The blade froze long enough for Jack to safely move out of the way; a light chuckle as he spoke to the ambitious individual.
"Not a bad approach, for sure. Had I been anyone else, I'm sure that would've worked. However, as a man whose spent his fair share of time stabbing backs? I can certainly tell when it's to be done to me. How else could I prepare for the enraged family members seeking vengeance for their lost ones?" Turning to face the male, he brought up his blade as it began to glow a deep black. "Now tell me something.. which do you prefer? Nightmares of the past...or The Nightmare of the present?"

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. ike crashing waves the men approached swinging this way and that, Mar’s smiled deviously as he aimed to strike for kills now. Catching to blades on his shield the man stabbed out piercing one man with ease. Hefting the man off of his feet he withdrew the spear point with ease, spinning the pole arm around he cracked one of the men over the head. Stumbling back the man fell to one knee with a hole in his chest and a loss of a helmet. Grinning darkly Jorumun turned his spear point on one of the two warriors locked with his shield. Both drew back to create space before charging again once more, dashing to the left side he avoided both slashes while piercing the closest man through the center of his abdomen. Swinging his shield he close lined the same soldier roughly while yanking his spear free. “Come on! Arise!! Are you not but cowards!?” His words were a rough and rude ruse but that didn’t bother him in the least. Those who had fallen did not get up for they needed time to recover. Few soldiers lined the court yard at this point. They had suffered decently but those wounded were not out just yet. Turning around swiftly Mar’s was clipped by the tip of a sword, a few points dropped on his health bar but he seemed unworried. “Finally someone who’s ready to give it all they’ve got!” Nodding at the lad he pursued him swiftly jabbing rapidly with his spear. The youthful fighter parred and side stepped as much as he could, a few times Mar’s broke his defense putting several gashes and holes on his face and limbs. Still and yet the youth did not waver as he pressed back against Mar. Swatting the spear aside he went to chop down on Mars head, but the shield blocked his path. “Come on! Come on! Give me more!” Bull rushing forward the enigma pushed the lad back till he smashed him into the nearest wall. Yet even when they collided with the rough wall that did not stop Mars at all, letting go of the spear for a second the gear dissipated. Clutching the lad he flipped him solidly over his shoulder. Slamming him head first into the floor he followed up with an ax kick to the skull effectively striking the man in the neck. “Oh yeah!” Looking left and right he gathered his surroundings before rushing the next fighter. “There is also a third skill people contain a passive that has certain conditions that must be meet.” As Mars approached the man slashed down over head. Stepping more to his right Mars smacked the side of the sword away before launching a kicked straight into the others chest. The heavily booted foot compressed the armor the other wore. A firm grunt and groan could be heard even as Mars drew his foot back out of reflex. The other stumbled back to catch his breath, Mars did not wait for him to recover. Entering the soldiers space Mars unleashed several right handed jabs into the exposed rib cage, then a swift left elbow to collide with the poorly equipped leather helm. At first the man did not move as Mars moved away, then he slowly crumpled a groaning gasp for air leaving trembling lips. Slamming his fists together Jorumun rolled his shoulders before he swiftly looked to Kuback a raised brow. “Captain Kuback you must surely have a valiant background in combat.. Why not step forward?” Turning to face the Captain the lad cocked his head to the side with a bit of intrigue.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] There was no doubt within his mind . . Jorumun was bred specifically for war. Whatever it was within his past - be it child soldier, child of the streets, or child of discipline, every cell of blood within his stream existed for the art of killing. Truth be told, he was shocked at how well he managed to contain himself, knowing that this all was simply a means of training the future protectors of this "great city". In any case, he wasn't the only one with a lesson to teach. Turning to the now scared soldier, Jack smiled brightly as he held the blade to his neck.
"Shshshshshhh...this will only scar you deeply."
As the blade grazed the skin, the older male's eyes went black; haunting visions of the past coming alive before him as he begun to scream hysterically. Following this, a more timid looking male approached him with a question. "U-uhm, excuse me sir?" Jack turned, noticing the feminine features the lad carried "Why, if I hadn't known any better, I would've killed you. Luckily enough for me, I've been down that road before; it doesn't end in pleasure." The boy backed up a few paces before continuing on with his question.
"I-if I could ask you? How do you do that? Cause them to just . . freak out like that?" He smiled "Would you like to find out?" The boy yelped lightly, Jack laughing as he'd taken notice of Mar challenging the captain. Placing his arm around the lad's shoulder, he turned him toward the two as he spoke in a loud tone. "Gather around everyone! Your dearest instructor has decided to challenge the captain, watch and learn what it means to be a true warrior."

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. uback was taken aback by Mars request for a training demonstration. The man looked somewhat confused but in the fact of his troops he held his ground. Surely he would not be made a fool of a second time. This time he would be prepared to deliver the punishing back to Mars tenfold! Stepping forward the large man reached out and grabbed his two handed sword in hand. Grinning deeply Mars swiftly rolled his shoulders back as he reequipped his shield and spear. All the troops back up near Jack to watch the spectacle take place. “Don’t regret your words boy!” Kuback said as he dashed into combat closing the distance with ease. The first strike went to Kuback unleashed a rising knee towards Mars face, at this pace there was little to no time to react but Mars was ready none the less. Leaning back swiftly he raised his shield using it to counter act the flying knee. At first Kuback did not feel the shift of his positon but soon he would as Mars thrashed him swiftly with the length of his spear. The pole arm whipped without fail cracking Kuback the entire length of his hip to his shoulder. The Captain took a short dusty trip the ground crashing and rumbling into the dirt till he hit the fence. “Watch closely gentlemen.. This is how you put fear into your enemy with physical punishment and a mental aftermath!” Growling lowly Mars stepped up once more as he waited for Kuback to regain his composure. The stun itself remained in effect as Mars approached to speak to him. “Listen very closely.. I am going to make you the prime example of what not to become on the battle ground.. You have moments left.. So prepare yourself..” A sadistic chuckle left the lads lips as he jumped back a few paces just as Kuback regained himself fully. The large claymore of a sword was held high overhead as the Captain rushed to approach Mars with fury. “LIKE HELL YOU WILL!” Was all the Captain said before their next initiation began.

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] The battle between Jorumun & Kuback had been a fierce one. Despite this, it was evident who would emerge victorious; the one with the most experience of course, Kuback stood not a chance in the world. The young feminine soldier viewed the fight, leaning over every so often to speak to him.
"So, what about this fight teaches me fear?" Jack chuckled "Can't you tell, the seeds of doubt have already began to sprout. From the moment Jorumun and I made our presence known, it was felt throughout the entire establishment. After displaying an impressive amount of strength earlier, Kuback seeks to redeem himself by teaching Jorumun a lesson. What Kuback doesn't know is that Jorumun out-classes him by leaps and bounds in all categories. This fact will inevitably hit Kuback, allowing fear to do it's greatest work of all; hinder his fighting ability."
The feminine boy nodded "I hadn't thought of it like that. So what you're saying is that strength plays a vital part in fear?" Jack waged his right index finger from left to right "Not exactly, young squire." He pointed toward the soldier collapsing in fear some ways away "I've not an athletic background yet I was able to destroy my opponent without the use of strength. In fact, strength in itself is a state of mine when you think about it. It's all about breaking down that strength, wearing it down, grinding it into nothing then stomping about it mercilessly. For example..." Their attention returned to the fight "Watch, as Jorumun effortlessly stomps on Kuback's hopes and dreams." | [attr="class","fish"] [attr="class","gold"]posts:6/10 [attr="class","gold"] Theme |

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. ell would be the place Kuback desired to be when Mars was done flinging him left and right like a rag doll. Jumping high into the air Kuback started his attack flipping down at a high speed. The whistle of the wind could be heard as his blade bit the air and his body fell at an accelerated rate due to his flipping motion. Tucking his knees to his chest he increased the pace of his forward rotation. Narrowing his eyes lightly Mars prepared himself swiftly, did he wish to take the damage about to be dealt or just destroy the man? The cooldown for his skill had already come to completion, grimacing at the idea he decided to pursue it. As Kuback came down cut Mars in two, the lad prepared himself accordingly. Dropping down on his left knee with the right one up, he braced his shield in the way while prepping his spear to stab at the same time. A wicked clank could be heard as metal struck metal, the shield rounded slightly giving Kuback a small cut in Mars shoulder. This did not stop him however from jabbing his spear out as the blow met his shield. The thrasher strike hit home as the tip pierced Kuback through the breast blade destroying the armor shoulder pad. This was unexpected even for a beginner weapon, but what was done was done. In response to thrasher activating he counter acted the rest of the man’s force before he fully touched down. The once proud downward slash suddenly reversed with force causing Kuback to punch himself in the face with his own blade. A pained cry rippled out of the man’s mouth as he landed hard against the fence stunned for another turn. “Come! Tell me that’s not the best you’ve got! I haven’t cut you down to size yet! If you’ve got the strength to scream you’ve got the strength to do better!!” Narrowing his gaze Jorumun rose to his feet as he shook himself out slowly. His health bar did not go down far enough for him to be concerned. Taking steps forward Mars did not grant the Captain mercy this time as he began jabbing at him with the spear point. Piercing his both of his limbs he drew back as Kuback regained himself. His eyes were wide with fury and rising fear; he pondered how this could be happening to him so soon. Halting his own groaning he replaced it with a desperate yet determined stance of protection. Holding the blade before himself his chest heaved, his health bar slowly being chipped away. “You’d better not disappoint me Captain! What would your family think!?” Growling out Mars gnashed his teeth calling Kuback into action. Kubacks blade stabbed forward as Mars knocked it to the side with his spear point. Following the swat with a jab he struck home to the man’s now barren shoulder. Kuback swung again left to right to which Mars caught with his shield and forced the blade down to the ground. The spear point struck the man in his exposed sternum before drawing back swiftly. This fight no longer brought him satisfaction as he watched the man struggle to survive. Removing his spear and shield he took up a lone long sword in his left hand. “Come…” | ✉ | 7/10 I felt like becoming Velmet for a second. |

[attr="class","saschaunshifted"] As the fight progressed, the feminine lad spoke up once more. "I think I'm beginning to understand what you mean. Jorumun, was it?" Jack nodded "Jorumun is slowly chipping away at Kuback's will, gradually draining his strength with each verbal and physical blow inflicted. With this, Kuback would have no other choice than to get desperate . . " As the fight progressed, their commentary would as well.
"You might think Kuback a fool for speaking so often throughout a fight; you would be wrong to do so. Let me explain, as he continues to belittle him, it continues to draw out that desperation to prove him wrong; it's when he's got no other options left that we'll see the true seeds of despair blossom before us."
Shortly after Jorumun dealt another crushing blow, he'd assumed a look of disgust, utterly repulsed by the speed of this engagement. Jack capitalized on this moment to teach the boy another lesson. "Look look look, see? That face in itself is another tactic. It's showing to him that he's grown bored of this encounter, that Kuback's skills aren't even close enough to suffice. This will add the additional fear of being shown up in front of all those who'd showered him in respect." Jack clapped lightly as Jorumun beckoned Kuback once more.
"If I'm not mistaken, Jorumun will end this fight soon. However, he'll only do it once Kuback has given his absolute all in order to crush him." | [attr="class","fish"] [attr="class","gold"]posts:7/10 [attr="class","gold"] Theme |

We all die some day! [attr="class","firstfriend"] No Blood No Bone No Ash. uback charged without near abandon his blade swung left and right in arches and sideward slashes. To which Mars answered with deflecting each hit with a solid one handed swipe of the long sword. Mars hand no problem giving up ground to Kuback’s wild swings. There was no longer a method to his movements; there was no thought behind his advance. The only thing that drove him now was the need to prove something… What was that something he needed to prove right now? Was it something for his men? Was it something for his family perhaps? Or even just something he needed to prove to himself. He needed to validate his existence as a Captain and retain his pride in this matter. Jorumun on the other hand had no intention of letting him gain anything. With a flick of his wrist the long sword blurred past Kuback’s wild hack. Stabbing into the chest plate he withdrew the blade to block the side long slash Kuback unleashed to create space. “Do you know why you fight so thoughtlessly?” Mars questioned him lightly as a level of fake concerned peaked in his voice. “Did you come to realize how fruitless you had become in sitting at your desk all the time..” Shoving the claymore away with his strength alone, Mars marched straight in towards Kuback. A feeble swing was batted down with the flat of the blade. The solid crunch of metal against pixel flesh could he heard. Mars struck the man across the face with the hilt of the long sword; stabbing it down straight through his left foot he nailed him in place. “I want you to carry this lesson on for as long as you breathe.. There is nothing more terrifying than fighting in a safety zone..” Chuckling Kuback looked confused at the male’s phantasm of a smile. Grabbing Kuback’s sword arm Mars jerked the arm straight before angling it down into his rising knee. The armor cracked but the limb suffered dearly. Another strike landed home as Mars elbowed Kuback across the temple. The man struggled to hold his sword while trying to pull the other blade out of his foot. Mars took advantage of it all, dropping another elbow into the man’s skull he activated the Thrasher effect. Kuback swiftly hit the floor allowing Jorumun to mount him into the ground and pound of a century. Cries left Kubacks lips as he wiggled beneath the boy’s weight. Mars accepted a few punches here and there as Kuback looked to dismount him, but his martial skills held the upper hand. Punching Kuback in the face several more times he pulled the man’s helmet off. The seeds of fear in which Jack spoke up shot to life as the helmet came free. Drawing an arm back he Thrashed the man once again stunning him in place. The health bar truck 20% but did not go further. Raising his fist again Mars did indeed stop but only for a split second. Changing the settings to death match he began once again in beating the life out of Kuback. Taking a firm hold of the sword the Captain elbowed Jorumun in the ribs but that did not bother him. Yanking the sword free of the foot the HP bar dropped lower and lower the more Mars punched the man in the face before stabbing the sword through Kubacks sword arm. The Captain wailed in pain as Mars rose up taking the claymore. Looking in to Kubacks eyes he smiled darkly. “Woe to thee who holds a sword but fears death..” As Jorumun spoke the Captains eyes were wide with terror. Words unintelligible tumbled from trembling lips as he lifted an arm in desperate plea. There was no mercy to be found here as Jorumun plunged the blade through the man’s sternum nailing him to the floor. As the health bar began to fall he changed the setting back to safety leaving the man barely alive at one percent health. His battle regeneration skills could not counter against the weapons that impaled his body. Eating away at health like a bleeding effect but he could not die now. The game prevented it from happening. Taking several deep breaths Mars slowly walked away from Kuback; beckoning to the medics they swiftly went to healing the very wounded and mind broken Captain. “That is how you break someone.. Completely.. So remember never neglect your training..” Gazing at the crowd they no longer gazed upon a boy, they now gazed upon a Monster. To most he still looked like a boy with a deadly skill set, to others he looked like Death.
