Anya snorted at the childish game, turning her back towards it. Only to turn right back around, squatting herself down to watch the slimy creatures swim. While originally this was all about bonding and growing with each of his guildmates, the real focus was to party, drink sake and act like a fool. Just trying to have a good time with a arm looped around Beat, his own true friend he had made a bond with.
Dressed in a fine silk midnight blue yakata, he approached a stall that seemed to have some form of pool. A trival game, but this was a game of oddities and rewards. So he gave it a shrug as he blonde companion surely would find a way to entertain himself briefly. His eyes skimming the pool, looking for the biggest fish of the pond, he would skim his own tongue across his teeth. The anxious pause as he awaited his prey, a few on lookers and children staring as they awaited. In a sudden flash of movement Mustang skimmed across the deepest part of the bond, before raising it above him in a cry of victory!

Catharsis vaguely remembered being baffled by the comfort some found in the tank in the hospital waiting room, unable to understand finding any joy in something that couldn't be touched. Fish were fragile, and he'd always decided it was too easy to hurt them without even breaking their skin, the oil of human hands ruining the chemical balance they needed to maintain a lifestyle. Then again, he'd watched a goose fall to its death instead of flying the other day, so logic didn't really apply here. "Why not." The woman squinted at the oranda goldfish, unaware that it was a good catch on her part. Looking back down into the pool, she decided that she wanted another.
Picking up another net, Anya tried again except this time, she aimed for the biggest one instead of a random fish. Go big or go home. She didn't give a second thought to changing her method, raising her arm up in preparation. To show that she was rather serious and suddenly into the game, she rolled back her yukata's sleeves. Now there was nothing getting between her and the coveted goldfish.

He frequently took visits to different aquariums in the state he lived in and the surrounding ones. Basically fish were his shit alright? At first Hendry came to the tower just to simply pay his respects for everyone who lost their lives in this hell hole of a game, though after deciding to take a look around the new area the young lightlord eventually stumbled upon the goldfish scoop.
Making his way over to the goldfish scooping game as quickly as he could Hendry would only listen to what the npc had to say about it for a moment. Before tossing some money his way and pick up one of the paper nets. All excited about getting a fish pet Hendry would scoop the net into the water in an attempt to grab himself a fishy friend.

 it had taken a lot out of eliza to coax herself out of the seclusion of a room and out to the new area. with the events of the raid still heavy in her mind than the outcome of her attempted suicide in pvp, eliza hadn’t thought she’d be strong enough to (at least) pretend to be social. it was atlas and his final words that had pushed her out of the doors at the final second, traveling to see the festival that had shown up. her attention fell to a small stand, offering players a chance to obtain a small fish if they were lucky enough to catch it. odd but fun. “might as well,” she murmured, taking one of the paper nets before waiting until she found the right moment to try and catch one of the fish swimming around.

LOVE ME LIKE AN ENEMY Well, that was a bust. Cat came away pulling up a busted paper net, but he should've known better than to expect anything else. Still, the game of it had kept his mind off of the real reason of the festival for long enough that it was worth another try. Grabbing another paper net, he sank it through the water and kept his eye on the assortment of fish clambering over each other, swimming faster and even against the walls of the container in their excitement from the intruding paper nets. It was difficult to aim for any one specific one, but he did his best to try to go for one of the bigger ones, because why not? Of course, it might just break through the net all over again. AIrU6T1E

"try again for 15 coin!" hex looked to the npc and grumbled. those money hungry bastards. even if they were greedy, hex wanted a fish. they were so cute just swimming around in the pool...she had to have one. the caster traded another 15 coin for another net. slowly this time. more slowly than last time. patience was key. maybe targeting a single fish would help. her eyes traced a specific fish...it was gorgeous. plump with beautiful pearls on its side. that's the one that she wanted. steady and fast, she dipped in and yanked up. 2pwQmhlO | |

He shrugged, taking it and depositing it into his inventory. Sure, why not. If he came to his senses later, he could always just sell the thing. Maybe Ghost would like it. Or hate it. Both would work out for him in some way, just as long as it wasn't indifference. As soon as he put it away and paid the coin for the attempt, he went ahead and grabbed another paper net. Why not, after all, try again. He repeated the same concept as before, trying to catch the movement of the koi in the waters and moving at the last second to try to catch it, essentially letting it swim into his net. He just needed the thing to not be too flighty and veer off at the last second. Gj24TOLY

He managed to catch one on his first try! Watching the net disappear and the fish being deposited into his inventory as an actual item Hendry wouldn't waste anymore time as he sent another 15 money the NPC's way. He felt like a little kid again, this was actually pretty fun!
Deciding right then and there that he wasn't gonna stop until he had at least one of each fish Hendry would dip the second paper net down into the pool of fish. Trying to test his look again.

She had missed the damn koi by a hair and it pissed her off so much, she pushed the newly won goldfish away. The stallkeeper shrugged, placing the bag on the ground next to her other winnings. She was determined to fish up a koi fish even if it would cost her the coin she earned from her last bounties. Armed with another scooper in hand, the woman swooped down on her prey. That koi fish was going to be hers by the end of the night one way or another.

LOVE ME LIKE AN ENEMY Third time was the charm, apparently. Sure enough, the koi fish went into the cup, and he paused for a moment before accepting it when it was handed to him. How lucky. The game was cheap enough that he didn't really hesitate to try again, because for a moment there he'd actually forgotten the entire reason he was there in the first place. Shrugging, he reached for yet another paper net and tried for another one of the big fish, because why not? It wasn't like the vendors would actually ask him to stop giving them money, after all, so there was no harm in one last try. He dipped the net into the water, using the same method as before.
