All of the offensive skills an Ouroboros uses consumes 10% of their health to activate. If the skill successfully causes damage, they gain 15% of their health for a net gain of 5%. If the skill used fails to cause damage, they regain no health, and have a net loss of 10% of their health.

Each time this process is successful, the Ouroboros gains 1 affinity stack with a cap at 10 affinity total at any given time. With each stack, the Ouroboros undergoes cosmetic changes which starts subtly with their eyes becoming slitted with black sclera. Eventually, their body becomes entirely covered by black scales, and their tongue takes on a snake like appearance.

After one minute out of combat, the Ouroboros loses all stacks.
